Meet for your Charleston Harbor cruise at Charleston Maritime Center on Wharfside Street in the city. Turn in your voucher at check-in, and board your sightseeing boat. When you board, find a spot you’d like best for this guided tour. If you’d like you can purchase drinks on board the boat (own expense) to sip on while you sail. Your guide starts right away telling you the history of the city as you pass by antebellum houses and pass under bridges. Follow the Cooper River all the way to the Fort Sumter National Monument. Your guide tells you stories about the Civil War and WWII, and you might even catch sight of wildlife as you cruise, including dolphins and pelicans. See Fort Moultrie and Fort Johnson, along with St. Michael’s Episcopal Church. Your Charleston tour ends back at the place where it began on Wharfside Street.
