Overview
Explore Pittsburgh, known as the Steel City, and the surrounding area on this private guided tour, which includes a ride up Mount Washington on the Duquesne Incline, plus stops in the city’s cultural district and the Oakland neighborhood, home to the University of Pittsburgh. Also, discover the North Shore, home to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.
What to Expect
The tour starts when your private guide picks you up at your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle.

The tour can be customized based on your interests, but the usual itinerary starts with a climb up Mount Washington on the popular Duquesne Incline, where you get a birds-eye view of the city below.

Next, stop on the North Shore at the Fred Rogers Statue and then drive past the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers.

After crossing the Allegheny River, make stops in downtown Pittsburgh and the Oakland neighborhood, the city’s medical and educational center.

At the end of the tour, get dropped off at your hotel.

George just loves this city and shows! Saw so many things we hadn't seen before.

George is wonderful! My elderly parents decided to join us in Pittsburgh last minute so instead of being able to walk around we needed a tour guide and a vehicle. George was entertaining and, although my sister had gone to Pitt, we all saw things...More

He Loves Pittsburgh

We met the exuberant George DeBolt on his 70th birthday. Arrangements had been made through the concierge at the Fairmont for him to provide us with a private tour of Pittsburgh. He did this in his van, not only driving expertly, but with great enthusiasm...More

Great tour, entertaining

Wanted to see the city but didn’t want to spend the time figuring out what to see and how to get there. This was a great informative tour. Saw lots of things we would not have otherwise seen and it only took two hours.
