I planned a private tour of both the waterfalls and a couple of vineyards in the Hood river valley for my wife during the Valentines Day weekend. Taylor did a fantastic job working with me to plan something unique and special. Due to the weather, we decided to switch our private tour at the last minute to a wine tasting tour only since we did'nt want to see the waterfalls in the rain. Taylor was so very helpful and accomodating to reconfugure our itenerary to now visit 3 wineries and lunch in the Willamett Valley. We had the absolute best time. First, we had Will as our guide and driver. He is outstanding. We immediately developed a bond with him as he began to share incredible details about the Willamett Valley wine country and Portland in general. It was like having a good friend a your tour guide and desinated driver. It was a fantastic exeprience and we will choose Wildwood and Will when we come back the next time with our friends.

We arrived in Portland 3 days prior to our Columbia River cruise and wanted to explore the area. We enjoy red wine and knew of the excellent Pinot noirs from the Willamette Valley, so a tour was scheduled with Wildwood Adventures. There were six of us in the group and Dominique was our guide. We felt very fortunate to have her, as she really is an expert! We enjoyed the scenic drive and visited 3 different wineries for tastings. We enjoyed the day, the wines, and learned a lot!

The Willamette Valley Wine tasting tour was amazing. Definitely to be put on the MUST DO LIST when visiting Portland. The best part of the tour was our guide Will. His friendly enthusiasm and knowledge of the area makes you want to return to Portland during the summer months. Thanks Will, we will be back!

We booked a Sunday wine tasting tour with Wildwood Adventures on the advice of our hotel. So glad we did. Will, the tour guide, was fantastic. He first dropped us off at a wonderful place -Elephant Deli - to picked out our lunches for the day. Then on to three wineries where we spent the day. The variety of experiences was great. The scenery of the Willmette Valley was wonderful and Will was funny and knowledgeable about the area. Well worth the price and time.

Having visited Portland numerous times, I had always wanted to visit the Willamette Valley and especially enjoy wine tasting as something I try to do all over the world in areas know for their wineries. This did not disappoint- of course a sunny 50 degree day with fall trees in full colorfulness was a nice add on. Our guide Aaron picked us up at our hotel, stopped at an amazing market The Elephant to load up on lunch and snack supplies and off we went. He was very educational and informative about Portland and the Willamette valley which made the hour drive go by fast. I really appreciated the quaintness of the wineries and valley as it does not feel commercialized at all. Visited three wineries and all were fantastic yet unique in their own way. Overall, it was a lovely relaxing and highly enjoyable tour. Would definitely recommend to any wine or non-wine drinker just for the experience itself.

Pick up from downtown Portland was convenient, it was about a 45 minute drive to the first winery, but after the first tasting, time became somewhat irrelevant and conversation was much more avid that the morning start. Our guide was great giving information about the region and Oregon wines. A total of 3 stop and back to the city by about 4 PM. A very nice day to spend in the Portland area.

We called Wildwood Adventure Tours on our recent visit because we had visited Portland once before and had toured with them around the city. It was such a great experience that we didn't hesitate this time to reach out. We did a Williamette Valley Wine tasting tour touring 3 vineyards over 6 1/2 hours. Our guide, Will, was so pleasant and knowledgeable. There were 8 of us on the tour and we all thoroughly enjoyed the entire day. Once again, Wildwood Adventure Tours did not disappoint. We'll definitely contact them again. Don't miss out!

We booked a Wildwood Adventure tour to wine taste in the Willamette Valley as it seemed like the most complete tour offered (hotel pick up and drop off, tour guide, three tastings w fees included, stop for lunch and lovely views). The tour did not disappoint. Our guide Will was a fun guy with fun trivia about the area. Thanks Will! The wineries were lovely and had friendly staff (we went to Erath, Duck Pond and Durant (Erath and Durant had views to die for, and Durant was having an art fair as an added fun bonus). We stopped ahead of the trip at the Elephant Deli in the NW district and picked up a lunch for mid day. Definitely recommend if you just want to relax and have fun. (And who doesn’t?)

Okay, you’re going wine tasting. Do you want a lecture on geology, viticulture, agronomy and local history? Yes you do! TJ kept us thoroughly entertained and engaged on our beautiful drive out to the Willamette Valley. The two wineries that we visited were charming and we all bought wine. The lunch spot he chose was fabulous. Just a great day!
