There was only 2 people in our group so we went in a sedan instead of a van. Pete was the one who gave us our tour. Pete was super nice and took us everywhere with a nice view along the river. He also told us a lot of interesting historical facts about the places we went to and even gave us recommendations about what to do in the city. He was super understanding about how long it took us to do a hike and to go to the gift shop. We recommend doing this tour in the morning because as we left every place it started to get crowded.

You and Anna were delightful guests and made my day! I was so pleased that you asked a ton of questions. I knew I was doing my job and you were paying attention. Thanks for the high praise.

My sister and I had an amazing time on our tour with Peter. He is really knowledgeable and really fun. We got to see a number of unbelievably beautiful waterfalls and scenic areas. This is a great option for anyone looking to take a couple hours to see some gorgeous views.

The company is also really easy to get in touch with. They were great about responding to questions promptly with emails/phone calls.

Peter was our guide and he was awesome. He has a vast knowledge of the area that exceeds just the tour we were on. This tour was great. We went on Labor Day weekend so there were a lot of people at the various sites we visited. Peter was able to maneuver our tour group perfectly into the best viewing spots. I highly recommend this tour.

It was nice to have someone else do the driving so we could relax and see the countryside. Peter had a most resonant voice and we loved hearing him tell us all about what we were seeing, besides the fact that he was very knowledgeable. We learned so much from him that we wouldn't have know had we driven ourselves. We had sufficient time at each stop to take pictures and short walks.

If you are considering a tour, Oregon Tour Company should be your first choice. If you are not considering a tour, ask yourself why not?
Peter was everything a great tour guide should be,
Safe, such an excellent driver. Knows every road, shortcut and longer scenic views
fun.. our day was filled with laughter. He's got some great stories
Push him for details..like how certain places got their names ;)
Excitment, very soon after picking us up a hawk swooped down and caught a pigeon in midair right in front of us! Think they arranged that?
The Gorge is even more beautiful in person. Peter allowed time to walk and get up close to waterfalls whenever possible, sometime we were dropped off while he hassled the parking
Other times he joined us and pointed out some of the fauna and details about it, bring a notebook! I said that several times kiddingly- the nerd in me wishes I had!
Ask Peter anything- he'll know
He has the who, what, when, where, and even the why or why not?
He offered photo tips to take better waterfall pics. My Grandson understood perfectly.
I need to schedule another tour!
It was perfect
Thank you for helping to make what I hope he will always remember

We had a wonderful time with Peter. He was a safe driver and a great teacher. His knowledge extended from history to geography. The waterfalls were beautiful and we were given sufficient time to take photos and absorb the views. I highly recommend this tour for half a day of your stay.

This was an excellent way to learn about the Greater Portland area. 1st- we were picked up (and dropped off) at our Airbnb- which made the entire tour THAT much better! Our guide, Peter was a wealth of knowledge and answered all of our questions. The van was very clean, and we were the only people on our tour. The areas we visited were absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Bring a good camera! Again, our guide was amazing and drove very safely! I would do this tour again- maybe in the winter months to see the changes in the waterfalls.
