Mad Apple isn't the regular type of Cirque performance. The comedian, the singers and street dancers were showcased more than the acrobatics. The show was just okay, it was cheaper than other Cirque shows but we didn't feel like we got our money's worth.

I have seen several Cirque du Soleil shows and they have all been a major production with complex sets and great performances. While shows tend to be pricey, I expect it and generally think it's worth it. That was not the case with Mad New York. The comedians were crude, vulgar and really only one of them was funny. The performers were good but the setting seemed cheap and poorly put together. I find it hard to believe that Cirque would lend their name to this show. I might have gone to this show anyway and be ok with it, if I had paid a quarter the price. Also, I would not have brought a child.

July4, 2022 weekend. Many talents and young members. However, the pieces could be stitched together better or made in a story to help the flow. Read few reviews as "mediocre" before the show, but I was willing to support a new show in NYNY. With this positive bias to enter the show, I still thought the fees were high for the quality and in the NYNY theater setting. Section 103; $150 ea; after additional fee = $167.
The plays seemed not representing New York atmosphere very well. May I suggest adding the break dance, street style dance. I really hope production management will invest more in story and props.
Pro: It is a small scale theater. Any seat has good view.

Disappointed in this show for the price we paid. We have seen every Cirque du Solell. Three of us paid over $200.00 each to sit in the front row. I was expecting a terrific show and that is not what it was. The acrobatics were just ok, stuff we have seen before. The profanity is way more than was needed, doesn't bother us but seemed like every other word was the F word. It is a small theater which is fine but seemed like a theater you would attend in a small town. Almost seemed like a high school show, with older adults putting it on. There were a lot of empty seats.
If it had cost $100.00 or less we probably would have rated one more star. We saw The Ultimate Variety Show: Las Vegas Show - V at Planet Hollywood a couple years ago which was a cheap show and was surprised that one was pretty good. This show reminded me of that one.
I would not recommend spending money to see this one and I believe it will not last long when comparing it to other shows.
On another note, I have always purchased a mug at all the shows we attend in their shops afterwards. I completely forgot after leaving the show so drove back to NY NY hotel the next day, later in the afternoon to purchase one. To my surprise, this was Wednesday and we saw the show Tuesday night, the shop was closed and a gal told me it would not be open till Friday night. When I got home I went online to see if I could purchase one and to my surprise again they did not sell mugs.

I was hesitant on purchasing tickets based on reading some of these reviews. First of all, this is not your typical Cirque du Soleil show. Don’t go in expecting to see KA 2.0 as the theme is based around New York and is a nice change of pace from the usual Cirque norm.
This show packed a punch with a hilarious comedian named Harrison Greenbaum. If you’re a prude you will probably not enjoy his jokes, but there’s definitely a reason he’s a staple of this show and was featured on America’s Got Talent. He kept the audience laughing and was very quick-witted when interacting with audience. The music was loud with plenty of singing, dancing, and acrobatic stunts.
Do not hesitate to sit on the left or right of the stage. Tickets are much more cost-friendly as we got 2 tickets FRONT ROW for less than $115 after fees through Ticketmaster.

This show is terrible. It has nothing to do with Cirque du soleil
Most of the time is used for tacky stand up comedy.
If I wanted to see comedians I would go pay half of the price to see actual good comedians
No one was laughing after the second “comedy number”
We have seen all cirque du soleil shows in Vegas plus other touring shows and this is definitely the worst by much. Even the highly criticized show of Chris Angel is better than this.
It is unbelievable that CDS allowed to have their name on this terrible show
At the end we were like wishing there could be a reimbursement

First, please do not go see this show if you are loving and expecting something artsy-fartsy like Mystere or KA. This is a Cirque show for the younger and cooler generation. My 18 year old son celebrated his birthday at this show, and all of the younger generation loved the show, were standing and totally into it. The people with frowns were the people expecting a museum showpiece.
We thought KA, Mystere and O were dull and boring, but also thought LOVE was fantastic. That is the right audience for this show. Less surreal acrobatics and more hip, energetic New York vibe with more circus-like acts. The talent is outstanding, the theatre is perfect since it was custom made for this show. As we were concerned out son might not like it, we opted for the $25 stage side seats. What a great bargain (one of the few found in Vegas). My son interacted with fist bumps, high fives and played basketball during the pre-show....and we actually thought these seats were fantastic. We were 4 feet away from the $129 tickets. Our seats were comfy, the view was awesome although we saw the rear only of the comedian, but there were huge screens where we could see the comedian/magician act.
Laughing at the comments about how vulgar the show is....as the most vulgar and funny comedian (Brad Williams) was not on the roaster for this three month period, as they update the show every 3 months to keep it current, replicating the changes in New York City. People this is Vegas, and this is not your grandma's Cirque show. Go and enjoy, if you have a sense of humor and adventure.

I visited Vegas from Ireland in January 2023 and was really excited to see a decent Cirque show. This show was really poor: the odd flash of great acrobatics was completely overshadowed by long bouts of comedy and average dancing/ gymnastics. I don’t mind edgy comedy but I didn’t buy an expensive ticket to a Cirque show for the majority of the show to be spent listening to someone trying too hard to be shocking and edgy. If I’d wanted to see a comedy show, I would have bought a ticket to one. The cost of this show was double the cost of many West End shows and certainly wasn’t a patch on them.

Without spoiling this latest high energy spectacle from Cirque du Solei, Mad Apple at Ny Ny Las Vegas is 90 minutes (intermission free) of high adrenaline (variety type) entertainment. Featuring your favorite songs about the city that never sleeps, Trust me your Vegas experience should include this show (dark Wednesday/Thursday.) Be amazed by an multicultural cast of illusionists, acrobats and everything in between that kept me laughing and at the edge of my seat. I paid $55 with no obstructed view (200's) I was sad when the show came to a
conclusion. 12000 people in attendance during a 9:30pm Tuesday night performance
Got their money's worth !

I love cirque du soleil shows, it always magical and special.
Except for this one of course.
I feel like the producers made more money on the project than they should have, saving on artists - there were 6 acrobatic gymnasts with a beautiful show. But everything in between was very hard to watch.
A comedian in Cirque du Soleil? Not the place. And it was bad.
In general, the show does not touch your heart at all, the audience was not very grateful and I understand them perfectly.
Either way, I don't recommend this show.
