After loving Absinth I figured this would be good and it did not disappoint. It's adult humor so know that going in. It's cirque feeling with the different acts doing totally different things from amazing bubbles, to roller skating to hanging from your hair and the ceiling doing twists. We loved it between the laughs and the awes of talent. The people who find this insulting are the same ones that say sleeping beauty didn't give the prince permission or want Baby it's cold outside barred for rape. Since it's such a small venue every seat is great and we sat in the back row with perfect views. $99 a person makes it a great show without breaking the wallet.

We've only seen this show in LasVegas, so can't compare with other options.
It's a Scifi themed circus show for adults.
Humour is a bit raunchy, so prude people beware!
Theatre is relatively small and they made good use of it with numerous interactions with the public on the first 2 rows.
A few good surprises here and there, and a reasonable length.
There was a lot of variation between the scenes, mixing interactions with both male and female audiences.
Overall, we were happy to see it but the $150 per seat felt way overpriced, I think $75 to $100 per seat would have been more appropriate for our 2nd row seats.

Opium was raunchy, hilarious and an overall good time. In typical Spiegelworld style there is a story that is support by acrobatic performances. The bubble man was mezmerizing and the well built man with the dog was wonderful. I remember Major Tom from Vegas Nocturne, his contortionism is weirdly fascinating. If you are looking for a fun date night or night out with friends, this is a great thing to do.

This show is bizarre . Most of the actors are mediocre at best. The story is strange and for us didn’t really work. There are a couple of acts that were amazing ( bubble man and acrobats) but they were stuck in and had no relevance to the story and sadly couldn’t manage to save the pretty poor production. The theatre is only quite small and was only about 1/3 full which, in itself, is quite telling! Save you money and go see something else, vegas has a vast array of shows to see, give this one a miss !

This show was awful, especially compared to all of the other excellent shows in Vegas. If you want to see an awesome show, go see 'Señor Frog's Drag Brunch'.
And be careful of the drinks from the bar at the Opium Show ...we were drugged (as crazy as that sounds at a show called Opium!).
We think it was the Jello shot (maybe the "Kiss my Astroid" drink). We were four friends in Vegas for the weekend and ordered the crazy drinks (from the bar at the show) because they sounded fun. We don't remember much for the next 3-4 hours. Thank goodness we stayed together after the show and were not robbed or abused. Some how we ended up at New York New York, came around, and started to question what just happened.
We had our own alcohol for the rest of the weekend. The only drinks we ordered at a bar were at the show.
Be safe, stay together, be careful, and only order drinks that you see them open (like beer or wine).

What a Trip. Opium is not for the GAO t of heart or church ladies. If you want to see a Celine Dion show, don’t come here!

We wanted to see absinthe but the show was sold out. Opium was recommended. With the price we would have paid to for general seating at absinthe, we had front row tickets at opium! They get the crowd involved making it super fun. Themed drinks were delicious. The show was amazing, funny, raunchy (in a good way!), and the acts were extremely talented and jaw dropping. Highly recommended!!

The show is good. I had seen it before in July, and I liked it much better then. I was a bit disappointed that I didn’t get to see the chihuahua balancing act because the chihuahua was touring elsewhere. I understand the dog is at work, but I would have liked to know it wasn’t there before I purchased the tickets.

This show was great! Funny, sexy and smart. Really enjoyed the aura of the show and the characters within it. Lovely to see the hoop guy from Scotland on the Vegas stage! Well done you, you deserve it :)

Hi all, my wife and I just got back from a week in Vegas and I want to make a quick note of the Opium show . To be fair , the show itself was fun, entertaining and funny. I can honestly say my wife and I were having a great time until the " sword swallower " at the end of his performance flung his swords at the crowd and covered us in spit and stomach acid. It Was DISGUSTING !! That moment was very disrespectful to everybody. It changed the whole mood of the show and overshadowed the great performances of the other cast members. MANAGEMENT OF THE COSMO SHOULD GET RID OF HIM. Almost everyone in the first 4 rows got sprayed or hit with spit and acid. DISGUSTING AND UNACCEPTABLE !! A real shame to end the show that way. Hopefully other people will also write about this incident to put a stop to it . I suggest not going until that performer is fired. The show will go on just fine without him. With SO MANY SHOW CHOICES IN VEGAS you don't need to be subjected to that kind of indecency .
