    New discoveries
The tour was so worth it, lots of great history shared about Las Vegas. The tour guide shared pictures, took us to see distinct aspects of buildings and helped us discover parts of Fremont and downtown we probably would have never seen otherwise. We spent hours after the tour exploring on our own things our tour guide suggested experiencing.

    Wowza don’t miss this tour!
Exceeded my expectations! Guide (sorry don’t remember his name) was very knowledgeable about the history of downtown not just Fremont Street. He was quick witted and was very patient with an older couple that was rather quirky. I highly recommend this tour!

    Awesome walking tour with Kelly!
Our family group of 12 adults had a great walking tour with Kelly as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and kept us captivated the entire 2 hours. He had awesome stories and really gave us a true appreciation of downtown Vegas. Old Vegas needs advocates like Kelly- Thanks Kelly for a five star adventure.

Don't miss this informative and interesting tour of Freemont street and downtown.
This is a wonderful tour of Freemont street and the downtown. The guide, Kelly, is very knowledgeable and passionate about this area. He does a fantastic job with the history and explains many "not so known" and interesting features of the area. Really changed our view of that downtown! He provides great suggestions (and coupons!) at the end of the tour. We are so happy we booked this with our Go City pass! It was well worth the money! Thank you Kelly!

    FABULOUS
Wow! I cannot recommend this tour enough! Kelly (our tour guide) was so knowledgeable and gave so many great facts and information about Las Vegas and its history. The tour was organised professionally and ran smoothly. You are given a headset to clearly hear the guide speak and his information is humorous, informative and diverse. The tour moves at an easy to follow pace, so those who walk a bit slower will cope fine. I loved learning about what’s behind the Vegas “façade” to uncover all the hidden gems! Highly highly recommended that anyone to comes to Las Vegas does this tour.

    So glad we did this!
What a great way to experience Fremont street and downtown Las Vegas! Our guide was amazing, sharing interesting history, information and photos, plus coupons at the end of the tour, all with a great sense of humor. We learned so much. Downtown Las Vegas is fascinating. It's definitely worth exploring vs always remaining on the strip. Make time to experience this. You won't be disappointed.

    Highlight of our trip
I recommend the downtown tour to everyone with any interest in the history, hidden gems, and outstanding local perspective of las vegas. Our tour guide was outstanding, full of great stories any inside information. We’ve seen a lot in vegas, from the day to the night, desert to fireworks on new year’s eve…this was the highlight!

    Downtown's Hidden Gems
We weren't sure what to expect when we signed up the night before the tour; we had hoped to do a downtown food tour but it sold out. However, we are SO glad we were on this tour with Kelly, who has such a passion for the history of downtown and all of its hidden gems. It was great to see old photos and compare with current buildings, and also walk through some of them. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to explore beyond the Strip!

"A fantastic history of the 'old to new' Las Vegas!"
My wife & I booked this walking tour as we are very interested in the history of Las Vegas from its early beginning through the decades to the present day. Many people associate 'Vegas' with 'the strip' - nothing further from the truth!! The 'City of Las Vegas' or as its known locally 'Down town' starts at the Stratosphere & runs much further North upto & past Freemont Street. We met our tour guide - Kelly at the Plaza Hotel on Main Street at the top of Freemont Street, our party of approx. 10 were then given earpieces attached by cable to a transmitter device so that we could hear Kelly speaking without him having to shout above the hustle & bustle of Down town Vegas! Kelly was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, & enthusiastic. There is so much to Las Vegas than you will ever know from there once being a train station behind the Plaza Hotel right down to the new Container Park in the Fremont East District. If you are into Vegas - not just for gambling then I can thoroughly recommend this walking tour - it lasts approximately 2 hours.

Not only does this tour force you to leave the chaos of the Strip for the semi-historic downtown area, but Kelly will expertly walk you through about a century of history in just a few hours. He will also show you some EXCELLENT values and some really cool things to do after the tour. For example: within 30 minutes of finishing the trip I was able to touch a piece of the Berlin Wall in a men's bathroom. Anyone with even a minor interest in Las Vegas will enjoy this tour!
I only wish I had cash on hand to tip the guide more!

This was such an enjoyable tour that the only thing we were disappointed about was not doing it sooner! There is so much now to see in Downtown Las Vegas that you end up wondering why you bother staying on the Strip. As our excellent guide Kelly said, the Strip spends $10m a month on advertising, so unless you take the time to seek out the revitalised Downtown and all it has to offer, you probably won't hear about it. It's such good fun here with great live music, bars, restaurants, casinos, hotels and museums, that we left saying next time we're in Vegas we will 100% stay here, probably at the Golden Nugget!

I've been a fan of the Fremont St. area since the mid-70's and have experienced the many changes that have taken place over the years. I eventually moved to Las Vegas in 2003, and now frequently eat & gamble in the various casino hotels in the downtown area. I really enjoyed this walking tour and all that our tour guide, Kelly, had to show & tell us about. He is very knowledgeable about the past and included many cool facts about all that's happened downtown since the early days. He included some of the recent & upcoming plans for changes that I hadn't known about, and overall, this was a very informative, pleasant & fun stroll along Fremont Street. Having our own ear buds made it very easy to hear everything Kelly had to say. My out of town guest really enjoyed this experience, and I will be sure to take other visitors on this tour in the future.

Kelly walking tour of downtown ticks all the boxes and was easily one of the highlights of Vegas. Away from the amazing modern hotels of the strip, Kelly explores downtown Las Vegas which oozes a vintage feel of casino life.
The casinos in downtown are amazing to explore and offer a more intimate feel than the strip. Kelly's in depth history of the area left no stone unturned and gave insight into the beginnings of Vegas as we know it now.
Visiting the pawn star pawn shop was great as we're both fans of the show. Rick's restorations was amazing too, we got a glimpse of Rick as well as a free tour of the shop. It was awesome!

The tour is a very easy pace and isn't overly strenuous. Kelly takes time to talk about everything and you have time to take photos and go at your pace.

We loved the touch of discount show tickets that Kelly gave us as well as an information sheet of must eat places, a nice touch which is helpful to tourists.

We'd encourage anyone who is in Vegas to change it up and see downtown on this great tour. Finish the tour with cheap pints and some good food.

Thanks again Kelly! We will be back next time.
Kathryn and Andrew!

We had a fab day Downtown with Kelly taking us on the walking tour. Was great to learn all about old Las Vegas and see the changes that have been made and also take in new places like the Pawn Shop and Rick's Restorations. A great day out for all ages.

Excellent comms prior to meet up. Guide ( Richard) was very punctual. Really informative talk and insight into the history of Las Vegas. Showed us some amazing sights ! Fremont Street on a Saturday evening is unreal and so alive ! Had photo taken with $1,000,000😀😀. Richard was kind enough to finish the tour at the restaurant we were eating at. Would have benefitted perhaps from headphones as Fremont St is very noisy.

We so enjoyed our Freemont Street walking tour and our guide. He is a phenomenal wealth of Vegas history. Very interesting to hear about and see the old photos he provides of the hotel and casinos and all the heavy players back in the day. He gives you a little earphone that works wonderfully so you can hear everything he's saying over the music and street noise. This was one of the highlights of our trip. Do this tour and learn how it all began!!

My wife and I attended the nighttime walking tour last week. It was fun and informative. Our guide provided lots of history of how downtown has developed and changed (development often very quickly and without regard to preservation) along with key personalities that made it all happen. Lots of stories about risky land deals, big successes, spectacular failures, missed opportunities, and urban renewal.

The nighttime tour competes with the noise and activity of Fremont Street, but the amplified, wireless earpieces help considerably. Lots of good tips on places to stay, east, ad shop. Highlights for us were the shark tank pool at the Golden Nugget and the Fremont Street east redevelopment area.

We would highly recommend spending a few hours of your las Vegas trip on the tour.

A+++ Loved it! We were completely unaware of the history, the revitalization and all that the downtown has to offer. Entertaining, interesting, fun. Guide Kelly was excellent, so personable and knowledgeable. Loved the old pictures that went along with the narrative/description of the casinos and the changes that have occurred over the years. We learned so much from this tour. I would recommend it to everyone!

My kids and I - ALL - totally enjoyed the walking tour with our guide Kelly! My kids are 11 & 14, so I was a little concerned that they were going to get distracted or tired with all the talking, (not to mention we walked through the very area of the tour the day before).. But instead the tour was great, and we all really got a lot out of it... learned some interesting history about the birth of Las Vegas up to the recent revitalization of Downtown, with tips and more. Thank you Kelly!
