Unique tours you will never forget
Since 2001 Adventure Photo Tours has been out first choice in the Vegas area! It’s all in their name - Adventure- check, Photo- check. In addition to Informative, Entertaining, friendly, and unique. Sure, you can do a big bus tour, but why be just another number? With APT, your tour guide engages you, informs you, and really makes the tour unique. Their tour guides are always well informed, friendly, and entertaining. Though tours are planned, they are never so rigid as to not be flexible and allow some extra time for pics or allow alternative options when available or possible. Guides are always engaging with you and want you to have an enjoyable time. They always want to know if you have any tour related points of interest and make sure to cover those areas. We only use them and only book elsewhere if a tour is not covered by them. They definitely are not a big bus tour where you are part of crowd. Their tour guides care what their job is and make sure you have a great tour. If you just want to see something a big bus tour will do. If you want to experience a place and build a memory you won’t forget- Adventure Photo Tours is the ONLY choice!

          Excellent Tour, Def Recommend
This is an excellent tour to get off the Strip and go explore the wonderful Mojave Desert, interesting geology and flora/fauna, and (of course) get close up to Area 51 and the small enclave of Rachel. You travel along the Extraterrestrial Highway, stopping at many interesting places along the route, with a rich content of information flowing from your tour guide. We have the pleasure of travelling with Michael who was a superb host for the day. Can definitely recommend this excursion. And Michael….i took your steer and got me a Sam Adam’s Boston Larger in the hotel bar when I got back - you were not wrong!

          Overall a great tour
Overall a great tour. Smaller group so it felt more personal and could stop along the way for animal sightings/photo opportunities. A knowledgeable tour guide of both area 51 and the geology of the area and route taken. The only downside was that at times it felt like being at school with being pressured to read aloud or explaining why you wanted to go on the tour.

          A packed day!
We really enjoyed this trip! It was a packet day but we're not complaining! We did the helicopter trip but not the sky walk and I think we chose well! Lunch was nice, the restaurant was packed but the staff were very efficient! Cameron, the pilot was really nice and friendly, the ride was awesome and we loved the choice of music that was played as we flew over the canyon The tour guide ( sorry I can't recall his name!) picked us up on time. He gave a commentary and I would like to say it was informative, but unfortunately we heard very little of it! The sound was too low for us at the rear, plus the bus had a very loud squeak at the rear that drown out the quiet commentary! We asked the driver to turn the sound up, but it either wasn't enough or he didn't bother! He should have asked us though! Commentary would have made this trip just perfect!

Out of Nowhere Adventure @ Death Valley National Park
We visited Death Valley during the summer, a time when the heat was intense but perfect for a road trip like this. We flew to Las Vegas and rented a van for the journey, which was an incredibly exciting time. As we drove out of the bustling city of Las Vegas into the desert, it felt like we were embarking on an 'out of nowhere' adventure. As we looked around, a vast desert stretched to the edge of the sky. There was nothing but land, mountains, a road, and the expansive sky. We could clearly understand why it was named Death Valley. Despite its harsh conditions, we discovered beauty and charm in this endless desert. The vast orange-brown landscape made us realize just how small we are as humans. We spent an entire day exploring the desert, which was a great experience. Surviving the heat and enjoying the moment of a lifetime amidst the greatness of Death Valley's nature.

A great day out around Area 51
We had a great Area 51 trip with 'Captain' Kirk who was an excellent and knowledgeable host for the day. My 14 year old son had persuaded me to book this as part of a overall trip and I'm pleased we did it. It was great to get outside of Las Vegas and experience some of the dessert on a well organised trip where you get to see so much and learn a lot too. We got to visit two Area 51 gates as well as a dry lake bed, the mailbox, the Joshua forest and of course the famous Little A'Le'Inn. The trip includes well spaced food/comfort/souvenir stops and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to find out more about this fascinating area.

Helicopter ride in the Grand Canyon
It was an awesome tour. Very informative and made sure we were taken care of in anyway possible. Michael, our tour guide, was great. Dustin, the helicopter pilot, was awesome. We got to ride up front in the helicopter and the views of the Grand Canyon were amazing. It was our first ride in the helicopter and it was worth every penny. Hoover Dam was great too. Wonderful experience.

Fantastic day..take the helicopter option if you can !
A good itinerary, fits it all in. Upgrade to the helicopter if you can, a great experience. Lunch was a bit long, most of our group were ready to hit the road for home and were back at the bus 15 mins early. Our driver was ok, picked us up on time. He gave us some facts but didn’t really engage with the group with trivia and useless attempts at humour and that’s OK ! I thought he drove a bit quick actually and a bit fast into some corners. All things considered it was a fantastic day. These buses are not designed for large people so consider that before you book

          A great day out!
I dragged my husband along on this tour quite reluctantly but he loved it! We both did! The views are amazing, our tour guide ‘Captain’ Kirk was extremely knowledgeable and the tour was great value for money. Plenty of short rest stops and lunch (included in the price) at A’Le’Inn was lovely and plentiful. I’m veggie and this wasn’t an issue. Lots of photo opportunities and a great day outside of the hustle and bustle of the strip.

Our tour driver/guide (Marcus) was great. Visited amazing sites. But the Nissan (van/suv) was too small for 7 people in our tour group. It was very uncomfortable ride especially you sit in the car for over 8 hours, that is why I gave it 2 stars. In addition, lunch was not provided from the deli, but we were asked to grab a sandwich from a "SubWay" at a gas station.

Guides were excellent and food provided was good, with good options available. Company very responsive to email enquiries. Only reason for dropping to 4 rather than 5/5 is thst it was unclear whether we should be wearing masks and half the bus was, whilst half weren't.
Guide was informative at all points and lots of stops to take photos and we didn't feel rushed. Group was good and because it was a small group we got to know one of the other couples quite well which was nice. Would certainly go on another tour with adventure photo tours and highly recommend.

I liked this company because they used a small van and so had limited numbers. Less time getting on and off a coach. Marcus was our guide who was great! As a solo traveller I was made to feel welcome and he took the time to take mine and other peoples photos. We stopped at many beautiful view points along the way! Definitely worth the money! Lunch is basic but filling from subway and there’s snacks if you want them. And this meant you didn’t have to spent ages waiting for people to order lunch. More time at Bryce Canyon viewing point would be nice, but really enjoyed the walk at the end. Lots of leaflets handed out but a bit more info on the formation and landscape would be nice, thank you!

This experience was amazing! We started by taking pictures at Red Canyon road arches. We covered Bryce Canyon including a hike along the rim. Our tour guides Art and Jim were incredibly knowledgeable and provided lunch and a never ending supply of drinks, snacks, and photo spots. The trip through Zion was breathtaking with lots of beautiful stops. There wasn’t a question Art couldn’t answer! I highly recommend this trip:-)

We booked a tour for the Zion and Bryce Canyon Tour from Las Vegas last February and the tour was confirmed and paid for. Our tour was scheduled for March 29th Thursday so I called the tour operator Adventure Photo Tours Tuesday night to confirm our pick up time and place for the tour and I was instructed to call back the night before the tour... she even asked for my email and phone number. Wednesday night I still haven’t heard anything from the tour operator and so I decided to call them and inquire about the pick up time. I was so disappointed when we were told that they don’t have any available seats for us to think that it was booked weeks before the trip. How irresponsible of them to cancel last minute the reservations and think that’s it’s okay if they will just refund the payment. We have to fly from Houston to Las Vegas just to do this tour. How about giving us enough time when you cancel our reservations so we can find another tour operator?I had booked a lot of tours with Viator before for Europe and this is the first time I had a problem with the tour operator. It completely ruined our trip. So beware of Adventure Photo Tours!

We were a little concerned about the 15 hours for this tour, but the time went quickly and the tour exceeded our expectations. Our hotel pickup was at 6am and my wife and I were part of a total of 10 people on the tour from different hotels. The Mercedes van was very comfortable with seating arrangements for 2 rows of 3 and 3 rows of 2. Since we didn't eat breakfast before the tour given the hour and had planned to grab something at one of the stops along the way, we were pleasantly surprised to get a breakfast bag (Danish, peanuts, string cheese and orange juice. Speaking of stops along the way, about every 1.5 hours there was a brief bathroom stop. And, there was a large supply of cold bottled water in the van...more than we needed.
Dennis, the driver who picked us up gave great commentary on the history of Las Vegas and briefed us on the fact that we would get a different driver guide at the first rest stop about 90 minutes later. (Under transportation regulations, the same driver can't do the entire trip because of the amount of time).
Phillip, our driver for the rest of the trip, was very informative. Its a very long day because Zion and Bryce are a long way from Vegas. We did Zion first and Bryce second, although it seems like the order may change from tour to tour. There were 4-5 stops in each park at the most scenic points. Probably no more than 10 minutes at most stops which was sufficient for photos. Two of the stops in Bryce were 20+ minutes to allow for some hiking and one of those stops was at an elevation close to 9000 feet so you could sense the lack of oxygen in the air.
Our group was very timely. Phillip gave tips on photos and angles of photos and willingly took photos of those on the tour.
On the trip back as we got closer to Las Vegas, Phillip gave a lot of good commentary and suggestions on what to do in Vegas.
Both Dennis and Phillip were very considerate, kind, well informed and shared a lot of knowledge about the parks, the states (you travel through parts of Nevada, Arizona and Utah on this trip), farming, wildlife, history, water and energy sources, etc. They were always quick to help people in and out of the van and ask about the need for a bottle of water.
        Compliments!!!

Much of the way back to Las Vegas, except for the last two hours, was a different route than the outbound trip so the scenarie was different.

Our day started at 530 am with a friendly and warm reception from Konoa, our first leg of the trip driver. Konoa was full of energy and enjoyed sharing his knowledge with our group. Chris Jones then joined our tour and he served as our "history buff / full of interesting knowledge" tour guide for the rest of the day. Chris was warm, friendly and exceptionally kind to all guests on the tour.
We stopped often and had time to view each site and take photos. It is an exceptionally long day and a lot of driving, but the views and sites were so worth the trip. Zion National Park was absolutely beautiful and yet, each stop was even more breath taking than the previous stop. The second park- Bryce Canyon- was stunning. Looking at the hoodoos and taking a few moments to walk around the sites was definitely the highlight of my day. I look forward to returning for a week of hiking now that I have seen the beauty of the area. I highly recommend this tour.
It was the highlight of our trip.

took this tour my first day in las vegas on May 24, what a lovely way to start a vacation and get a feel for the area.. pick up directly at my hotel and on time ... tour guide was very informative and very thoughtful...always informed the group of what was coming next ... plenty of breaks and lots of water and amenities for the guests ... I would certainly recommend this trip ....but do know that it is a very full day ... drop off directly at my hotel ...oh, and vehicle was clean and quite comfortable
