Great live narrated tour. We had the Go City pass and had to jump through a few hoops to get the tour secured but here are some tips so you’ll have less of a hassle and a better experience.

For the day tour you’ll have to have your go city pass scanned and turned into a ticket near 3791 S Las Vegas Blvd, The Aerie Store (a division of American Eagle). The Big Bus employee is not IN that location. He is ON the side street just south of that address wearing a Big Bus uniform.

This is the first stop for the day tour and they leave promptly at 10am. (Ours left at 9:58am) so I suggest you come early. I also HIGHLY Recommend that you load up at this stop because it’s the only way to guarantee a top seat. They will load passengers at numerous other stops and the bus will fill up to capacity and you will be siting downstairs or not riding at all.

The tour guide is informative and funny and provides fun facts about the strip properties and what’s is development. The entire tour lasts about 2 hours.

The tour DOES NOT stop at the Famous Las Vegas sign but does drive by slowly so you can get pictures or video.

My son and I took the entire tour to get a feel for the strip and then got off at the Mob Museum. I’m told the wait to hop back on is 45 minutes. We chose not to do that and just did the deuce or ride share for the rest of the day.

Oh, and unless you’re in Vegas in the summer, bring a hoodie for the top because it will get windy and cold.

I would definitely recommend this for first timers or for someone who hasn’t been to Vegas in 26 years.

We got tickets from Scott Nelson earlier in the day. Very helpful, knowledgeable and highly recommended to go look for him to purchase tickets and organize other tickets as well.

Then, when we got on the bus, our tour guide/driver combination was Amy and Randy. Amy drove managing to drive that two decker bus as if it was a small sedan while Randy kept us entertained with family-friendly jokes and a lot of helpful or interesting information regarding the casinos, neighborhoods, future Las Vegas plans and how to save some money while in the city.

So, if you decide to go into this bus tour, which is generally worth it for moving around Las Vegas easily, look for Scott, Amy and Randy.

Four of us went to Vegas for a getaway and quickly found out that having a rental car would not be very helpful. It's fairly difficult to travel around the strip and various locations and finding places to park.

We opted to take the Big Red Bus Hop-On Hop-Off tour bus which turned out to be a great idea. We opted for the premium ticket that gave us not only two full days of traveling around Vegas, but also included the open bus night time tour as well as a bonus to take the "High Roller" which is a massive ferris wheel that takes almost an hour to make a full revolution. But back to the bus....

We picked up the bus almost directly across the street from the Park MGM Hotel and rode all over Vegas. We even traveled down to the old strip where Freemont Street is located. You don't want to miss that either. During the tour, we had a number of tour guides each with a great attitude and quickly offered tips and pointers of things to do while in Vegas.

While it would have been nice if the tour had more stops than it did, (there were nine in total), but even this provided a way to move around and save wear and tear on the feet. One word of caution however. Busses run approximately every 45 minutes and pick you up where you are dropped off. Be there when they arrive, otherwise you will have to wait for the next bus to show up. Likewise one or two of the stops are in a questionable part of town so keep this in mind when getting off. Our guide did mention this to everyone so you are aware prior to getting off.

Bottom line is the bus was a little pricey, but the value you get is there if you use all of the items provided. Also keep in mind, that it's hot out there. We were on the upper deck of the bus and you could feel yourself being cooked. The bussed did have a sun screen over the majority of the seating but the front of the bus is uncovered. You have been warned!

Have some fun and take the bus.

Due to our flight being cancelled the day of our tour, until we got to Vegas there was not enough time left in the day to be able to use our tickets. We had ordered & paid in advance. There was no way we were able to give 24hrs notice, so they would NOT refund our payment for 6 people.

Although you were not offered a refund you would be able to use your tickets in the future. The tickets will stay live. Please email us at infolv@bigbustours.com and let us know when you may be returning.

Was not clear where the bus stop was located. After waiting for forty minutes, watched the bus roll by. Caught the bus driver’s eye and waved for him to let me on, but he would not. Big Bus Tours would not give me a refund so I had to wait another 45 minutes to get my “money’s worth.” Also, despite the GPS tracking technology available today, there’s no real-time tracking of when the bus will arrive.

We spent $134 on the bus tickets for 3 of us. The tickets said open at all times, but we we got to the station, the tickets said hat the last tour was at 7 pm. When we did the tour the next day, the tour guide said that the tour was going to be 10 minutes instead of 2 hours. Also, the tour guide was saying facts that weren't true, like how you have to pay $1000 for a steak at hell's kitchen. Lastly, the bus did not even leave us at our station. Big bus tours is the worst tour company ever created. Terrible service.

Very sorry to hear about this experience. I would love to help if at all possible. Would you mind sending me a copy of the tickets that say we are open at all times? The best email would be infolv@bigbustours.com or if you can post here that would also be ok. We do have a 7 pm tour and that is our night tour specifically. This is a separate product so if you bought the classic tickets they would not have included this tour. As far as timings go we have started our tours at 10 am daily for the past 10 years so any information you have that says otherwise we will make sure to get it changed immediately. For the tour guide info would you mind telling us who your tour guide was? We will make sure to speak with them and aim to understand what they are trying to explain when it come's to Hell's kitchen and their pricing. Also if your could explain the locations where you were picked up and dropped off a bit that would be helpful for us to assist you overall. Possibly the times as well if you can recall.

Took Uber to the Treasure Island Hotel where there was supposed to be a Customer Service booth; none existed.
A bus was scheduled to arrive at 10:30; it did not.
Called BigBus.
We were told we just missed a bus and the next one would be in 2 ½ hours. (What???)
We walked to another stop (LYNQ) that the Customer Service lady suggested.
Found the location and the guy on the street selling tickets.
We boarded and rode two stops (from LYNC to Mob Museum) where we hopped off (at 1:45) and were told every hour at :45 past there would be a bus.
We were back in less than one hour (2:45) and found a line of folks waiting.
I called Customer Service at 3:00 and was told it would be another 45 minutes.
I asked for a refund and was told to go to the website and fill out the refund form.
We called Uber and returned to our hotel.
I filled out the refund request form when we returned home (March 22) and the acknowledgement said we would hear back within 5-7 business days.
5 or 6 emails and they will not offer a refund or even a partial credit.
Their service stinks and you should simply buy a guide book and use Uber.

My daughter and I arrived to the indicated bus stop 10 minutes early before their app had posted. There was no bus that ever came after 40 minutes of waiting so i called the number on the sign. The employee told me a bus scheduled to arrive at 12:35pm came through around 12:40 (which was untrue because we were literally sitting at the bus sign since 12:25pm). It was 1pm when i called her and she said she talked to the driver who said it would arrive now at 1:20. We’ll see. Horrible service. I hope the tour is worth this waste of time and wait. And there is no live bus location available either on their app which would be very helpful. No idea why that can not be accessed. So basically my advice is to go to a bus stop and even if you get there early be prepared to wait there for at least an hour as you may miss the bus because their posted schedule is completely inaccurate.

The double decker bus IS NOT open like shown in the pictures. The bus for Las Vegas has a roof over your head for shade, but it does obstruct your pictures. Tour guides were adequate and made jokes with the passengers rather than pointing out landmarks or significant buildings. I learned much more about Las Vegas through taxi and Uber drivers. I paid for other tours in the area, such as through Annie Bananie's Count Kustom's car tour and they actually discussed the history of the city.

We read all the reviews and my travel party and I were excited to take the big bus tour. We had 3 hours to spare, prior to heading to the airport and thought this would be a great way to spend it.

Tickets were advertised as hop on and hop off daily fee, we purchased 2 tickets at 4:30pm. At no point during the purchase were we informed the tour had a last time "hop on time" I knew the night tour started at 7pm, but since the routes were different, we thought we had enough time to experience the day tour. It's may and the sun doesn't go down until 9pm.

When we arrived at our "hop on" location (Excalibur Hotel) at 4:45pm, we were informed by driver that was the last bus tour for the day.

Their app or site does not have a phone number to contact, the chat service says someone will get back with you and no one ever does. It was $90 throw away.

The Big Bus Tour may be a great experience if one gets the opportunity to enjoy it. But, if god forbid you have any issues good luck speaking with someone.
