Overview
Drive an ATV through El Dorado Canyon then go deep into Techatticup Mine on an adventurous off-road tour from Las Vegas that explores rugged desert terrain and a historic gold mine. Pickup and drop-off at Las Vegas hotels make this an easy way to escape the city for the Nevada desert, and it includes a picnic lunch on the site of a 19th-century mining camp.

What to Expect
Meet a driver at your hotel in Las Vegas for transfer to an ATV base camp, where you can practice maneuvering your fully automatic 4x4, and get oriented with a short safety briefing. Open up the throttle as you steer through cactus forests, red rock formations, and mountains with Nevada’s big sky for a backdrop, and watch for wildlife at the edge of the trail.
When you reach the Techatticup Mine, continue on foot through spaces where miners once dug for silver and gold, and find out why some believe that the multi-level shafts of the historic mine are haunted. Following your off-road trip through El Dorado Canyon, refuel with a picnic lunch in an old west town that grew out of a rough-and-ready mining camp, then return to Las Vegas for drop-off at your hotel.

- All participants are required to sign a damage waiver. The minimum charge is USD$150 should a vehicle be rolled or tipped, regardless of whether any damage is visible.
