      Reservations needed, but excellent options!!
Reservations are needed in more than one place. We had to wait a day to get in even though we had passes. Call in advance to make sure you get a spot.

BUYER BEWARE: A GoCity pass may seem like a good deal, but it could turn out to be too good to be true.
Be wary of purchasing GoCity passes. Purchasing a GoCity pass does not guarantee you entry into the advertised attractions. GoCity website nor app maintain updated information regarding their advertised attractions and reservation requirements. GoCity website, app, and confirmation email advertise many attractions as walk-up only. GoCity website and app do not permit you to make reservations for attractions that are advertised as walk-up only. While GoCity may not require a reservation for an advertised attraction, the attraction itself may actually require a reservation. Before purchasing a GoCity pass, check each attraction website directly for the most updated information on reservations in order to help ensure entry into an advertised attraction. GoCity will not issue refund once the pass has been activated nor provide any corrective actions for losses incurred to their deceptive advertising practices.

      Huge savings and great experience!
Best Deal we have had. When visiting Chicago we had our children ages 2-9 in tow, and spending 2+ hours at one activity strains the best of attention spans...having this pass with access to so many options kept our little ones on the move, experiencing everything the city had to offer, AND we saved HUGE money!

Was good value but also disappointed with some of it
As a whole the app worked really well and we did save money. Had issue with the sky deck and Chicago 360 the app wouldn't let us Prebook. Luckily a quiet time of the year so we're able to just walk up and book at the desk. Was very disappointed to see that the river tour included on our all inclusive pass couldn't be used because it was winter. I understand this so thought it would have been possible to use the boat tour on the explorer pass as ours doesn't run into March. So annoying that we paid for the dearer pass but couldn't book any boat tour. Boat tours were running so had to pay 88 dollars for us both to book a boat tour independently which was not good

      Ok experience.
Ok experience. Art institute was listed on website but when arriving they no longer accepted go city pass. Restaurant giving free pizza only at 1 location way far away from all activities. 360 was closed for a private event but it was listed anywhere. Came the next day and had to make an appointment to come back 2 hours later. Overall didn’t get to do a lot of what we wanted to do and paid the money for. We weren’t very impressed.

A little pricey but worth it
We were hesitant to buy the All-inclusive city pass at first given its hefty price tag, but am very glad that we went forward with the purchase. there were a variety of attractions/tours on the card that made our trip to Chicago even more enjoyable. The All-inclusive card allowed us to partake in activities that we normally wouldn't do because of the price. For example, we would not have done the Seadog Speedboat tour, which is normally $35 for a 30-minute ride. Also, the 90-minutes of bowling with pizza and a drink was a really nice treat as well. My only "complaint" about the card was the very limited to non-existant discounts on food/dining options; but that is not a real negative as the money we saved on activities/attractions allowed us to eat at a fancier restaurant whilst there.

      Used to be better
I have always used go city for my tripes to Chicago and have never had issue until this recent trip. Making reservations for skydeck and Chicago 360 were a disaster. You can only make reservations day of or day before. I stayed up until midnight day before to make our reservations and no times were available. I check multiple times after this and was never offered any times to reserve. I showed up to sky deck without reservation due to this and they made us pay $10 per person. There are lots of things with this pass that used to be included that are no longer included and it seems as though city pass is the preferred pass among the locations. I will not use go city any more for my trips.

Go See A City with Go City Passes!
We purchased the Chicago All-Inclusive 3-day pass. We leveraged Groupon to save a few extra dollars on purchasing our Go City passes. We spent 3 days visiting museums, taking some tours enjoying some good food and most importantly making memories. In the process, we saved almost $550.00 using our Go City passes. These are a great way to experience things you might not otherwise have committed time to doing... and you'll thank yourself for the memories these opportunities have provided. My suggestion is, if you are interested in getting Go City passes, just ensure that you are committed to doing enough of the activities to cover the cost of the passes... and then find things to do to fill in the time gaps.

      Lots of choices; great value!
What a great and easy experience using this pass! I would highly recommend for anyone visiting Chicago. We did a 2 day pass and the excursions were excellent and we did museums on our rainy day. Huge value for the money. Lots to choose from and will definitely do again!

Not worth the money for me
For me this pass did not work out, and I lost a lot of money on it. A day in Chicago can go very fast, so you have to plan your itinerary carefully. After going to Shedd, we found out that Adler closed at 4pm. Navy Pier does not really have much to do either. To try and fit the minimum amount of activities into the day to get your money out of the pass could result in everything being a rush, and take the fun out of it.

      Not worth it
Just get City Pass, this was so horrible, had to have scheduled times to use them, didnt read fine print I guess, thought you could do as many things you could fit in a 24 time period for unlimited pass, was not the case. Do not get.

If you have a problem with the download after you pay for your passes—good luck. I purchased the tickets via credit card and never received the confirmation email.

I called customer service—a central call center—and they asked me to send a copy of my credit card receipt to a random email. Someone responded 8 hours later. Apparently the one person to help works the night shift. Still no tickets after she sent. Emailed her back. She asked for confirmation of email address. I confirmed—no email or response, 15 hours later.

    Summary below:

Purchased tickets on line: 1am Weds
Called customer service in the morning—no tickets
Received an email back 8 hours later— they were resending
Contacted them again Thursday: waited another 8 hours for response
Friday at 4 pm: Still no tickets and no response to two emails. Called customer service again and got recording at 4pm CT that they are closed.

For a supposedly global company they have serious issues and a lack of customer service. Frustrating experience to say the least. My trip is in two days and I have no reservations for the attractions because I can’t get them to resend an email? They have my $400 Amex payment and I have no tickets 3 days later.

No choice but to dispute the charge and move on.

Something that should have been resolved in a few hours….not resolved after 3 full days.

On the pass it has an expectation date. It seems that on te website it says that the pass needs to be used within 40 days of when you use the first experience. It does not say that on the virtual ticket. It has an expiration date. I used the first 3 experiences and then was not able to use the fourth due to family matters. The tickets remained in my virtual wallet on the app with a expiration date of June 29, 2022. As the date was approaching, I made the effort to go to one of the museums in Chicago to use the passes. At the museum they told me the pass was coming up expired. I called Go City and was told that I should have read the rules on the website. I pointed out that no where on the tickets do they indicate the limitation and that the tickets continued to appear on the app with the expiration date. The Go City representative was rude and no help.

Was in Chicago for July 4rth weekend and bought this pass for my family. It was accepted at the places I selected except SkyDeck. I was told at SkyDeck that this pass is valid only Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Clear information about the acceptability of the pass would be useful. My whole plan for the day got disturbed as this was not accepted at SkyDeck on a Sunday. Have to pay additional from my pocket for Skydeck.

I purchased 3 experiences for my 19 year old daughter and I to select during the 4 days we visited downtown Chicago. The upfront cost was reasonable and it allowed us to decide on the items that were best for us, the weather and we weren’t locked into pre booked tours on specific days. When it was 103 degrees outside, the Field Museum was the perfect selection for that day! A river tour was amazing on a mild day with beautiful clouds on the skyline. We saved over $180 off standard gate prices. No need to look for coupons or worry if everyone will get to do their favorite things. Lots of choices, great savings! I will definitely use Go City Passes on future trips!

We used the passes for Chicago (river cruise, hop on hop off, sky deck) all very well organized apart from the bus which broke down! also in New York we used the pass for the Moma, for The Edge and for the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island cruise. The cruise was a shocking experience, despite the hourly reservation we boarded an hour after the scheduled time, like in a cattle car, on a dirty boat with bottles, cans and other rubbish wandering around on the deck. Arriving very late, we weren't even able to get the audio guides at Ellis Island because it was close to the museum closing! To be avoided

We were only able to use one of our passes (on the 360 Chicago). We tried to go to the Skydeck to use our second pass and they told us they couldn’t take us because they were booked. But we had tickets so that didn’t make sense to me. We were only in the city for one day so it’s not like we could redeem them at another time. Really disappointed.

    Save your money-A BIG NO!
Save your money! A big NO! They do not stand by what they sell. If you activate the pass, they refuse any refunds no matter if the attractions you are interested in are open or not. So, If you only use the pass for 1 attraction, but the rest are closed..NO REFUND.

The Go City Chicago Pass is what I am referring to. Will never use Go City Again!

The Navy Pier only had the Big wheel available even though multiple rides were includes as being available on the website.

The Big Bus was advertised as being available during our visit. We waited for hours and nothing showed. Messaged Big Bus and they told me they were closed for the day! Go City advertised it as if it would be open. This cost my family extra money as this was suppose to be our transportation source in between attractions. Go City only offered a discount off of my next purchase. NO! Why would a discount be reasonable for a service I will never use again? NEVER AGAIN!!!

I booked this card on my visit to Chicago. I chose the 3 attractions and used, the big bus tour, the Willis Tower and the architecture boat ride; small savings but not bad.
The other advantage is that you don't need to redeem any tickets at attractions once the app is downloaded on the phone which is a great time saving.

Bad experience. We arrived at our first destination of the day and our passes wouldn't scan. I spent two hours on the phone outside the Chicago Field Museum trying to work with Go City to get our passes working on the app. They finally worked, but we had lost so much time out of our day, which was a Sunday when things closed earlier anyway. I asked Go City if we could get any time of compensation for the time lost, and they basically told me to kick rocks. Was not worth the price.
