- ellie v00Excellent bike tourThis was a great way to see the neighborhoods in Chicago and eat Chicago focused food. A wonderful fun tour. Biking was flat and easy
- Meander0181310195600Chicago funOur guide Jeff was knowledgeable, energetic and fun. Our group of 10 70-something’s really enjoyed the itinerary and iconic Chicago foods.
- Azannie5900Fabulous food tour!Even though it was a cloudy day and it drizzled on us a little bit, the food tour was so much fun! Our guide Janine was knowledgeable about well-kept Chicago secrets and favorite local foods. Her sense of humor and bubbly personality really added to whole experience. We’ve been on food tours in other cities and were impressed with portion size of the food samples. The deep dish pizza, hotdogs, roast beef sandwiches and dessert brownies were all super delicious!
- Katherine T00Tasty lunch of Chicago specialtiesInteresting and tasty tour of Chicago food and history. Thank you Janine for hosting us. I was worried that it would be too much food but it was just the right amount for lunch, in part because of the walking between the food stops.
- fallons29200Great food with perfect weatherWent on the 9/18/23 evening food tour with Mikey. It was a great time. Mikey was very energetic and kept us moving. We had time for drinks at each place and as we walked along to each stop, he would provide a little history of the area. Great time. Works for sure do again. Thanks
- deszi7130100Food Walking TourI am very glad we decided to take this food and walking tour. It allowed us to tour the city and sample some of the city staple foods. It also allowed us to meet others that were also visiting the city. Mikey our guide was very knowledgeable and informative about Chicago history. Mikey made the tour interesting and memorable.
- TorontoTOtraveller00Highly recommendAwesome tour of the city and beautiful waterfront. Theartis, our guide, was friendly and informative. Highly recommend this tour as a great way to see a lot of the city in 3 hours.
- H9517TYpeterd00ExpensiveExpensive, one slice of pizza, hot dog, dessert and beef sandwich. Drinks extra. Confusion over last venue. Guide was informative and knowledgable.
- Carol C00Chicago food tourFood was very good. Our guide (Janine) was informative and entertaining. Pace of tour about right. Tour worth the money.
- karenjR831JH00Great Food & Chicago History TourI've been on a few food tours in various cities, and this one was by far the best! I loved that with each stop there was ample seating, and water was provided, or an opportunity to purchase a beverage. The portion sizes were full sizes, not cut up portions, so this is a perfect midday tour!
- Cathy C00Great way to taste iconic Chicago foods! We really enjoyed our tour with Mickey! He did a great job teaching us the history behind some of Chicago’s best known foods, making it fun and interesting at the same time. Loved our Chicago dog! Highly recommend this tour to get just the right amount of tastes of these iconic foods.
- Nuttree201300Westside Foodie Bike Tour is a great way to see Chicago and taste some great food! The Westside Foodie Bike Tour was great! Highly recommend. Easy way to see the different neighborhoods in Chicago and taste some fantastic food. We found the city very bike friendly even on roads without specific bike lanes. Our leader Lillian was very knowledgeable about the history of Chicago. We learned a lot!
- carlrI2776MY00Frigging cool!Had the time of our lives. Learned so much from our guide Janine Norman! She was energetic and enthusiastic. We really appreciated her spunk.
- E2923GYlindan00Great time!We had an awesome time with Joe! Beautiful ride through iconic neighborhoods and great stops for local foods. Joe shared a lot of great information about the neighborhoods as we toured the areas. Amazing final stretch down the lakefront . Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful time. All my worries about riding in traffic on city streets came to nothing. Our guide, Thomas, kept us in a pack, safely navigating the route through all kinds of residential, downtown, and bike trail traffic. I felt really good the whole way!

First, let me say that Julia our guide was beyond fabulous. The bikes we rode on we’re absolutely fabulous if you want to E bike make sure you reserve it early. She gave us a complete history of the city of which I knew nothing about and made a 14 mile ride fun, interesting and a total blast and certainly the highlight of my trip to Chicagoland. The stops on the ride were wonderful and we ate and drank, ate again, ate again, drank again till we couldn’t eat anymore. I would have paid double for this bike ride and that still would not have been enough. Thank you Julia for being such an ambassador to your city and Giving us such wonderful equipment to ride on. Bobbys Bikes & company delivers seven star service with the itinerary, the equipment and our incredible guide Julia! Jac Smith Keller Williams St Pete And Tampa, Florida.

What a great way to experience Chicago and all it has to offer !!! We loved biking around the city, visiting the local eateries and learning a bit of history. Pizza, cupcakes, hot dogs and beer, oh my !!! My only critique would be to make it four stops rather than five. We felt a bit rushed at the last bar. The other four places we stopped, we had a chance to sit and talk with our guide, Nate, and to others on the tour. But with the last bar stop, we were crowded into a small dark bar and did not have enough time to really enjoy our beverages. I would still highly recommend this tour. It was one of my favorites from our week long adventure in Chicago.

This bike tour with our guide Jeff was an awesome and educational experience to see, taste and engage in the Chicago culture. Their preparation and bike equipment was well maintained and they are prepared to handle the environment and weather with providing water and ponchos as our tour day experienced a little rain but that didn't put a damper on the activities or experience. The Chicago culinary choices were great although I would have preferred more pizza and hot dog type food vs cupcakes but that's 'cause I don't have much of a sweet tooth but the amount of food left us completely satisfied so you do get a meal out of this tour as well as learning about places around Wrigley field that you want to go back to having been given exposed to them and learning the local history. Highly recommend this tour for all abilities since there are no hills and the tour riding is broken up so there's no challenging parts of the ride.

This was an absolutely fantastic tour! We went on a 13 mile bike ride around Chicago and stopped at 4 different establishments plus a few unique places. We also rode through many different neighborhoods, so we were able to get a good feel of what Chicago is like. Everything is included in the price, so you don't have to worry about paying for any of the food/drinks on the tour.
Julia (our guide) did a fantastic job going over easy-to-remember safety guidelines that helped us ride on the busy Chicago roads safely without being worried. She was extremely friendly and engaging to every single person on the tour, so we all felt like a real part of the tour. Even after herding us around for 13 miles and 4 hours, Julia still had endless energy at the end of the tour.

My husband and I have been on other bike tours in Italy, Paris and Versailles..this one is just as lovely! We had no idea Chicago was such a beautiful city ❤️
Kevin did an excellent job of giving us interesting facts about the city while also keeping us entertained! Food was delicious. Seeing some of the beautiful neighborhoods that perhaps you’d miss as a tourist is a definite plus! We would highly recommend this tour.

We had an absolutely phenomenal time on our Bike, Bites, and Brews Tour with Bobby's Bike Hike! We know Covid times are weird, but this gave us an exceptional and unique way to see the city and try some delicious treats from some great local restaurants and hidden gems. We are so thankful to our tour guide, Gabe, for braving the frigid cold with us and teaching us so much! Gabe cannot get enough praise for his historical knowledge, fun spirit, amazing impressions, sense of the city, and aptitude to guest service. An incredible time all around and I cannot recommend booking a tour enough!!

We absolutely loved our tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting chi town. The bikes are very comfortable and although you’re cycling through a city, all the drivers and pedestrians were very patient with our group. The food stops were well spaced out and gave us a real taste of Chicago as well as accommodating my gluten intolerance. We particularly loved the stop for craft beer at the pub. Our guide Jeff was incredibly passionate and informative about Chicago, the people of the city (and the Cubs!) so we learned loads. This trip is a great way to see the northern suburbs which we might not otherwise have visited having been based in downtown. It was a real highlight of our time in Chicago and cycling along the lake in the autumn sunshine was fantastic. Highly recommended!

Best Way to Cover Chicago!
Jeff, aka Chicago Gandalf, was engaging, entertaining and knowledgeable, as well as a consummate professional and rabid cubs fan. The bikes and equipment were outstanding, safety a priority, and a wonderful smorgasbord of local delights made this the highlight of our visit . Would recommend to fun lovers of all ages, but you must be 21 plus to enjoy the bikes, brews and brats trip.

This was a terrific tour! Our tour guide Nate (and trainee Jeff👍) gave us a great overview of the city with lots of interesting details. The 13+ mile route took us along city streets and park paths and was easy as the trip was broken into shorter segments with stops along the way. The deep dish pizza & beer, a Chicago dog, a brownie and more beer were just delicious. I highly recommend this tour!!

So, I haven't ridden a bike in years... so I ask: Does the tour follow a bike path or is it on the streets of Chicago? Is it difficult to ride, if biking with traffic?
Amanda A

It takes you everywhere from the streets, bike paths, and some areas where you have to push a little. It was a good 12 miles.

HI, the bike tour seems like a lot of fun. Just wondering what options you have for vegetarians?
Thanks,
Sharath
Is there any inclines on the path
LL09e
Philadelphia, PA1 contribution
No, other than a few feet of dirt when transitioning from the road into Lincoln Park everything was flat. You walk your bike through underpasses for safety too.
