Sea Life is fun, unique, and interesting, but the price is a premium for a relatively short walk through.

My family and I went to Sea Life this past Saturday at ICON Park in Orlando. We all had fun and are glad we went, but it's not worth the money and therefore we likely won't be going back. We realize that the location itself is likely part of the premium price, and it's by no means a bad experience, but it's certainly not wildly over the top either. There are no large animals (like whales or big sharks), and the entire walkthrough is somewhat quick for the money.

For example... Shed Aquarium in Chicago, which charges similar prices, is a far superior aquarium in virtually every way.... whereas Miami sea aquarium is more on par with this location and yet, still probably a bit better.

There are two things about this aquarium which are pretty awesome, the first is that many of the fish tanks have internal bubbles that you can crawl up to, to get a real unique "in person" feel, as if you are inside the tank. The next part of this aquarium that is pretty fantastic, is the glass bottom tunnel at the end of the full tunnel walkthrough, which is super cool and probably the only aspect that comes close to justifying the price.

Good overall experience, but expensive for what it is.

We were absolutely thrilled with the aquarium. We thought it was going to be smaller but it was much bigger then we excepted. Our 2 year old was so amazed. We actually went to SeaWorld as well and I would recommend people go here then waste the money on that to see fish for the kids. They had so much tanks set up for the kids to go in to view the kids it was great. We will definitely be back.

We visited on a whim while visiting one of the other attractions at ICON Park. When we first entered the aquarium we were concerned that we'd wandered into a child's amusement. Boy were we wrong! This aquarium was fins and tails above some of those we have up north! Every time we rounded a corner there was another exhibit with more beautiful aquatic creatures. Every employee we came across was quite pleasant. We actually bumped into a lovely young woman who was there on her day off with some friends. She took time telling us about some exhibits and Shelly the Turtle. She was a treasure of information and had a lovely personality. She will go far in whatever she chooses to do but for now, she is a wonderful representative for your organization! Everything was spotless and there were employees that could be seen cleaning, who would stop and smile with pleasant acknowledgement. I would highly recommend Sea Life for anyone looking for something to do in the area!

It’s a nice aquarium but overpriced and small. We went slow and it still took us less than two hours to see it all. The sea turtle and sting rays were fun but everything else was pretty standard and nothing was wow. We won’t go back and wouldn’t recommend it to others just based off of how expensive it is.

Pre-purchased tickets didn’t give you Anya scant age unless there is a discount. You will wait in the same entrance line as everyone. The exhibits were nice but the information birds are not well lit for reading. Exhibit is overall dark to mimic the ocean I’m sure. People all did their best to wait patiently to allow only one family to view the exhibit at a time during COVID. Husband and I got through in an hour.

I think the reviewers who say “good, not great” summarize this experience well. It does not compare to the Ripley Aquarium in Toronto, for example, but if you have not been to an aquarium, you will enjoy it!

I want to highlight a staff member named Kate. She asked us in passing if was had any questions and ended up talking to my family for at least 15 minutes. She had incredible passion and an encyclopedic knowledge of every sea creature and the aquarium itself. She was very impressive and we all agree she should play a significant role in the future of the aquarium. Thanks, Kate, YOU made this a most memorable experience.

This is a small, but very well-designed aquarium. I love fish and aquariums, so wherever I go, I usually check one out. This place was not large, but very well designed, with a lot of immersive tanks that allow you (or kids) to stick your head through and see the fish swimming around or walk through the middle of a large tank to see the marine life swimming above and below. Pretty cool, and their exhibits were pretty decent in terms of variety. Would recommend but, as with everything Orlando, make sure you buy the tickets on a discount pass, as the regular admission is pretty high for the size.

Thank you very much! The tank pop-ups are perfect for both kids and adults to get a fully immersive experience and feel what it would be like to swim with our sea creatures.

Four of us visited on a weekday afternoon. The were very few people that day. The attendant told us this was unusual and that usually there were lines. Hint: Buy your tickets online. They are cheaper and you skip the ticket line.

The exhibits are interesting with interactive screens to identify marine life and explain habitat. The docents in each exhibit area are friendly, knowledgeable and eager to answer questions.

There is a “behind the scenes tour” for $5 per person. We did not take it due to time constraints.

We had a great time.

This Sea Life is in the same building as the Icon Wheel and Madame Tussauds.
The aquarium is more of a spot to snap social media pics (no flash) and less education. There are lit up signs, but it is dim throughout, so some people may have trouble reading them.
At the end, a rude guy named 'Jacob' who seemed super annoyed to have to be at his job, asked me for our photo card. I was genuinely confused and told him we had not received a photo card. He took an immediate attitude and informed me that, "the worker wouldn't have taken the picture and not given (you) a card". He then told me that I could, "look online WHEN I found my card."
I looked through all of my belongings and verified with those in my group that nothing was given to me, I found another staff member and asked what I could do to see our photo. As I thought, the other staff member informed me that Jacob could very easily scroll to the timeframe we arrived and find the photo.
I went back to the photo counter again and after he reluctantly found our photo, it was discovered that the photographer up front had indeed never issued a photo card and ours was not associated with a number at all. It was probably a random mistake up front, but Jacob made it a bigger deal than it needed to be, by just dismissing me as some liar.
I recommend looking for discounts available for this aquarium, as there are a few ticket options. Obviously, make sure you get the photo card at the beginning, so you don't get denied access to your keepsake photo with loved ones!

It's a small aquarium located in the Wheelhouse at the ICON park. Tanks are Crystal clear and well maintained. A little crowded with tourists. Perhaps a little too crowded with a pandemic still going on. Still, it was a great educational experience and opportunity. Young kids would love it because displays are at their height as well.
