    For this Los Angeles Latin food tour meet at the Indiana Metrorail Station in East LA.

    Your first stop on this tour is in the neighborhood which is home to a renowned and remarkable tamale kitchen and a Latin American market filled with food stands, souvenir shops and mariachi showrooms.

    Your guide will then lead you to Mariachi Plaza, where you'll savor Salvadorian papusas, a spicy meat stew from Mexico called birria and yummy Mexican pastries, all made from passed-down family recipes.

    Experience the warmth and hospitality of the food stands and shops as you go, and leave with a richer understanding of the history and traditions behind Boyle Heights and East LA. You tour will conclude at its original departure point.

    We joined the East LA tour and our guide was excellent: Nick knew so much about LA that we really felt lucky to have this experience with him. The tasting is pretty abundant so I would suggest to go there with empty stomach, but the quality of the food is excellent and "real".
