After a safety briefing, strap on your harness and fly through the treetops. There are 12 ziplines, two climbing walls, and a Via Ferrata rappel to tackle, as well as hanging bridges and a Tarzan swing. Next up is a rain forest horseback riding adventure to observe the local flora and fauna. Arrive at the Victoria Waterfall where yet another adventure awaits—river-tubing. We booked this super last minute and couldn’t have been happier with every minute of this one.
We booked the regular group shuttle (not the private one) and they picked us up right when we were expecting them. I’m pretty sure they went out of their way a bit to grab us from Coco Beach because most of our group was staying over an hour away in Tamarindo, and it was still another hour to the park. We were so grateful and the group transport was so worth the extra $14, especially since we didn’t rent a car.
Our guide, Alejandro, was kind and informative and so passionate about the entire area. He knew so much about the culture and history of Guanacaste that the hour long ride from the breakfast stop near Liberia (also such a great idea to start a long day) to the park felt like it’s own excursion. He helped the day run so smoothly and it really felt like we were looked after to make sure we got where we needed to be on time.
Everything was so well communicated by the park staff as well and I felt taken care of every step of the way. The zip line was thrilling, but the guys that run it are such a well oiled machine and take the safety of it all so seriously that I was never scared that anything would happen. If you can spare the money, get the photo package, it’s so worth it for the shots and videos that they got of us.
The horseback riding is so relaxing and you can tell that they pair you with a horse that suits your size and temperament and the horses respond so well. I got a very sweet calm girl that went with the flow who I just loved, while my husband got one that was a little spicier and he had the best time.
The tubing was also so wonderfully run and they make sure that you stick with the group during the slow parts and that you feel safe going down some of the rougher passes. My absolute favorite part of the day!
Lunch is absolutely fantastic. The buffet has a bit of everything for almost any diet. Also, if they have the tres leches cake the day you are there, don’t hesitate for a second to grab some. We got thirds!
We ended with the hot springs which was perfect to relax your body after all the adventures. There are several pools with varying temperatures as well so that you don’t feel too hot if you’re there on a warmer day like we were. We even did a bit of a polar bear plunge in the river nearby which is nice and cool.
Don’t hesitate to book this one. So much bang for your buck and our favorite day of our entire vacation!

My husband and I went with our 2 daughters (19 and 21) and their boyfriends. The day was chocked full of fun things to do. Here is the order of activities: ziplining, horseback riding, tubing, lunch, and thermal waters. If you are from Texas and are used to tubing in rivers there, please note...this is NOT that. This is rapids and fast movement. Lots of fun, but you need to know to expect this and not a lazy trip down the river:) Lunch was a yummy buffet. I highly recommend paying for the photography service so you don't have to worry about your phone or camera on the zipline or tubing. The guides were friendly and incredibly helpful. The gentlemen working the ziplines and tubing made you feel safe and secure. If you like adventure, this is a great excursion!

Professional staff. Tubing was intense and I would not recommend it for young children. Again the staff were excellent and knew the river well. They positioned themselves to help on dangerous rapids and sections where tubers were getting stuck. Expect to fall off your tube at least once. We only had about 30 minutes to eat lunch and stood in line for 15. They need more staff or a different set up. Our group was very large and not everyone got to do all lines/rappelling on the zip line circuit. We also got stuck on a couple different platforms (in tight groups of 7 or 8) as we had to wait for workers to get ahead of the large number in the group.

My husband and I booked this four-part experience that includes a zipline on 9 different lines, a 45-minute horseback ride, an 1.5h river tubing experience plus the mud bath + heated springs for ourselves and our kids, ages 12, 10 and 8. This was a huge hit with the family. The entire enterprise is geared for American tourists, so while it feels a little like being herded from A to B to C, everyone was very professional and efficient, with very little down time. And as an American tourist, I appreciated that, especially with children. The ziplines were really great, with the staff extremely efficient at moving our cohort of about 30 people along. It ended with an opportunity to do the last zipline upside down, which always makes for a great photo op! Next was the horseback riding, which was very sedate on the tamest horses that you can imagine. We took a leisurely stroll to some waterfalls, and came back. For my husband and I, it was the least successful part, but for 2 of our 3 kids, this was spectacular. Next was the river tubing. They clearly have crafted the river in such a way that the rocks and the current guided the inner tubes. It felt like something engineered at Disney or a waterpark, but was somehow in the middle of the Colorado River in Costa Rica. Very, very successful. There were a few rapids here and there to make it exciting, but never so much that people on the river were afraid. No one tipped over, and I think this would be fine for an intrepid 6yo or older kid. You cannot double up people on one tube. Last was the mud bath, which was just slow and relaxing. The heated springs were fun, but this was a relaxing and slow way to end the day. The entire experience was very well executed, and our guide Ronny was great. We drove ourselves to the Park, and saved us a couple hundred dollars in transportation costs. We also opted for the $55 photo package, they have professional photographers at most points of the trip to take pictures for you, and you get them ALL. The hard part is weeding out the photos of other people. Lastly, there is a tip jar for the canopy guides and the river guides, we tipped $20 USD in each jar. They really did a good job.

The guides on this tour are fun, knowledgeable and work very hard to keep you safe at all times. I have zip-lined in the Blue Ridge Mountains before, but this was even better. Flying over the rivers, through the foliage and rocks, doing the Tarzan swing, repelling doing a climbing wall. Definitely LOVED it! The horseback riding was fun. I wasn’t expecting the tubing to be white water tubing- but that was super FUN as well, and the guides were stationed all along the way to keep you safe. One girl even lost her show and one of the guides was able to retrieve it for her. The tubing was my husband’s favorite part. Bring your phone in a water proof case well attached to you, otherwise the photo package is expensive. Definitely an AMAZING experience I won’t ever forget!

We did this tour yesterday and started our day at 7.40am getting picked up from our hotel. After 15 mins we changed onto another tour bus and there was an option to grab a quick breakfast in the restaurant there. The drive to the park was a bit bumpy and a few people commented that the journey was like an excursion on it's own!
Guachipelin was pretty busy and at times it felt a bit rushed. Our original tour bus had around 15 people in but when we arrived we were sent for river tubing and combined with other groups so there were about 40 of us altogether which seemed like too many people. The tubing was more intense than we were expecting, some people changed their minds on seeing the river (we were told it was class 2-3 rapids and the water was on the higher side) and others were crying or panicking after they started - once you start there's no going back! So the only option if you're no longer feeling safe is to go down with a guide. Although you have a helmet and life jacket, if you fall off your tube especially in the rapids it's scary as it's difficult to breathe. My husband fell off twice and had a few cuts and grazes. It's a long trip too, we were told it'd take 1-1.5 hours but it took at least 2, maybe due to the amount of people. We both said it was a good experience but not one we'll do again!
Zip lining was the best part of the day. Very scenic and fun. Again a big group though and the zip guides seemed to be in a bit of a rush to get people through.
The buffet lunch was really good!
Horse riding was just that. I thought it was going to be a wildlife spotting tour on horseback but it was just a horse ride. It wasn't bad but you wouldn't miss out if you didn't do it.
The hot springs were lovely but busy. A nice way to end the day but the time went really quick. We returned to our hotel around 6.30pm. We couldn't fault our Nature's Way guide Hector, he was helpful and informative and didn't make us feel rushed.
Overall I would say, if you like adventurous activities then do it. If you're mostly interested in zip lining and/or hot springs then there's plenty of other locations which would probably be just as fun.

I traveled solo for this trip and it went great! I highly recommend for anyone traveling solo or even a group!! It was very organized and I did not feel rushed or stressed out at all. Everything was completely safe as well. For the river tubing, there were guides at all of the rapids to help you in case you fell in, or to make sure that didn't happen. Overall it was a great day, guides were amazing and the lunch was delicious!
I recommend bringing water shoes (I wore them all day for all of the activities), swimsuit, change of clothes for the end of the day, and a comfy outfit to wear over your swimsuit!

This tour by Natives Way was without doubt one of our highlights of our family holiday. We were picked up on time by our wonderful driver and guide Louis who was excellent and took care of us throughout the day. We started the day with the Ziplining which was great fun for all (little uncomfortable for hubby as he is a big fella and he mentioned that the straps were digging in to places he never thought existed..). The activity is super safe but still an adrenaline activity. 9x zippiness in total including a Tarzan swing. Next up was the Horse Riding which was a nice leisurely stroll through the landscape in a group of about 25. Some lovely views and the horses were amazing and safe with some kids as young as 7 riding alone. After the horse riding there is a bus which takes you all to the River Tubing activity. The river was up during this day and was not possible for under 11 but I guess thats expected in the rainy season. Should have taken 1hour 25 mins but took us 55mins due to the flows. Again this was super fun, safe (everyone with a great lifejacket) and plenty of staff located at every large ripple to ensure everyone is safe. These guys were absolutely fantastic in ensuring the group were kept safe at all times. The activity is broken down into 4x sections where you don't start the next section until everyone has finished the one before. Super fun and exciting especially when you get flipped out of the tube. The tubing activity finishes next to the visitor centre/restauraunt where we then had our buffet lunch (included in the price). Lunch was ok with enough of a choice for all the family including vegetarians. The tour was finished with a visit to the hot springs (5 min drive away). These were great and very hot but due to this being at the end of the day it was tremendously busy here with each spring being pretty full. All in all it was an fantastic day out for the whole family including our 3 sons ages 17, 19 & 22. HIGHY RECOMMENDED!
*Thanks also to Natives Way for allowing us to reschedule the booking at 12 hours notice due to my wife being unwell. Although it cost us $250 to reschedule it was very much appreciated as such short notice.

This excursion was absolutely everything on our travel bucket list and more! I traveled to Costa Rica as a single mom with a 15 year old daughter and 11 year old son.
A medium sized air conditioned bus picked us up early from our resort and we travelled to pick up more guests. One stop where we were picking up guests was a tourist location where we were able to buy cold water, snacks, souvenirs, etc. (this was an added bonus we were not expecting). Our tour guide and bus driver were very friendly and the guide gave us information about the area where we would be doing all of our excursions. We arrived to a building/tourist shop to start with zip lining! There was a washroom and changerooms here, water and hand washing stations. We were fitted in our zip lining harnesses and helmets and the staff were incredibly friendly. For $40 USD, a photographer will follow your journey through the zip lining, tubing and horseback riding and give you all of the pictures and he even took video for us too! The zip lining was so much fun! Through tree tops and then through rock canyons with water below and a beautiful waterfall. It was so amazing! Be sure to look around you while you are in the air! I saw the most beautiful HUGE blue butterfly while zip lining, it honestly all looked like a fairy tale of some sort. After zip lining, a bus took us to the area where we would start tubing. We were fitting in life jackets and helmets and given a tube each. This tubing adventure was my favorite part and never seemed to end! All of our group was laughing and helping each other when we were stuck on a rock, and the guides come along with you to help you out and they were a BLAST!!! They are so funny and friendly. There were parts that were fast and parts where you could relax. Just amazing! We then were taken to lunch at a restaurant where the food was fantastic. Gave me a chance to charge my phone too. Horseback riding was next and it was an enjoyable short ride along a trail that the horses are used to. My son loved riding his horse and really enjoyed this part! Last we were taken to some hot springs. Some of the hot spring pools were actually too hot for me, but there is one that is bath water warm and I loved relaxing in that. We covered ourselves in mud and even laid in the cool river water just below the suspension bridge. Awesome end to the day! This excursion packs in SO much fun and is worth the price. Your kids will absolutely love it! Mine are already begging to go back and do this again!
This excursion was the best bang for your buck! You got to experience so much in one day! We decided to do the private transfer and our guide Gustavo was amazing!! He was always on time, checking in with us, answering any questions, giving us local recommendations and was a joy a to spend the day with! He even is stop for breakfast on the way at a local breakfast buffet since our hotel wasn’t serving breakfast before we left and on our way back, stopped at a local convenience store so we could stock up on supplies that weren’t as expensive as the resort prices. The tubing was the best part of the experience and the zip line course was fun, but you need to be in shape and work out regularly for it to be a breeze as rock climbing and pulling yourself up was needed. Overall, highly recommend and request Gustavo as your guide!

Bonsoir,
Merci!

No sorry, we pick up from JW Marriott in Guanacaste. Your location is too far to do this tour in one day.

No you can't. Each section of the zipline is joined together, so you have to complete each section to get to the end.

Yes, I would recommend bringing towels. At the hot springs portion, a towel rental is included for you to use.
What is the weight restriction for the activities, including zip lining.

I never saw a weight restriction listed. When I did this excursion I was 250 lbs.
Is the water tubing optional? What if you don’t know how to swim?

You will have a life vest and guides with you every step of the way. Most of the spots were low enough to stand up. Never came out of the tube.
