Your adventure begins with morning pickup from your La Fortuna hotel, where you’ll board an air-conditioned coach destined for the zipline center. Once onsite, strap on your harness and receive a safety briefing before conquering several ziplines positioned over the rain forest canopy.
Soar over a canyon at speeds of up to 40 miles (70 kilometers) per hour. Get aerial views of La Fortuna Waterfall and look out for native wildlife such as monkeys and tropical birds. Following the zipline circuit, you’ll have a fruit snack and travel to the Balsa River in a 4WD vehicle.
On arrival, put on your rafting gear and listen to instructions from a guide before tackling the Class II and III rapids of the Balsa River, a fast-moving waterway home to sloths, toucans, and monkeys.
Following a Costa Rican-style lunch, you’ll be dropped off at your La Fortuna hotel later in the evening.
