- 501estefaniar00Best tour in RioI loved the tour. The staff is super knowledgeable and kind, specially Claissa. All the spots are of tourist's interest, I recommend it a lot!
- 699martay00Amazing esperienze, must do!Very clean and cozy. Claissa was great!! Very welcoming and smiley. The pay attention to all the deatils!!
- Weeranantawet00Best of time! Great tour! Fantastic guide and driver!I am so thankful to have taken this tour! Our tour guide, mama Cris was fantastic, knowledgeable, funny, kind, sweet, friendly and very caring. She took care of her tour group so well and bring firm on punctuality! The tour was so good and educational! I learnt much more about Brazil, Rio de Janeiro snd Pedro I Pedro II. Highly recommended! Book it, go and enjoy the trip! I hope you get Mana Cris! And our driver Pedro was so patient with us, making all the needed stops! Thank you for driving us safely uncle Pedro! despite the pouring rain going down the mountain to complete our journey back to Rio! I'm grateful!
- Aaron K00Paying for ComfortA nice experience but overpriced for what you can do by yourself. We didn't feel taking the tour added much value to the stops, but provided a nice van to drive stop to stop.
- Renata W00Good experienceIt was a fun day in the boat, the water was super cold but beautiful. The tour was well organized and we felt safe, the boat was very lively with a lot dancing and music.
- Colleen B00Full day private tourFantastic day touring Rio with Vicente Thomas. He has been a tour guide since he was 21 and he knows Rio and Brazil. Not only did we hit the sites, we shared great conversation and learned a great deal of Brazilian history and what is going on today I highly recommend Vicente Thomas and this company if you want to not only see Rios sites but learn more about this amazing country! Oi Brazil!
- DukeOfOrleans00Canceled with no refundDo Not Book This! Canceled on us the day before our scheduled booking. Then refused to give us a refund had to contact Tripadvisor for help!
- David A00Great tour in RioEverything was well organized and professional. You will see a lot of things in a short period of time. Our guide Alexia took excellent care of the group, was fun and entertaining.
- katiej38200Sunrise boat tour!Great way to finish off the holiday! Picked up promptly to enjoy the views. Dropped one star as it was quite loud and we struggled to hear the commentary. Overall great experience, very friendly staff and good value for money.
- MCTMASE00Disappointing and dangerousPick up was on time and we arrived at the tram stop at 9am. We then waited over an hour in 35 degree heat before we boarded the tram. I secured a prime seat on the left side of the carriage, only to be moved by a staff member just before departure to accomodate a late arriving Brazilian couple. This meant I got to enjoy views of dilapidated houses while the other side got to enjoy the sites. The tram itself is extremely uncomfortable, no leg or shoulder room and you’re packed in like sardines. First stop was a burned out house. It was explained this is important to the local history, but not much to see here sorry. We then arrived at the Selarón Steps and it was jam packed with people, so much so you couldn’t enjoy it. Disappointing. Guide suggested the steps are empty at 6am if we wanted to come back, then why does the tour arrive at peak time? We were also given 10 mins to explore a token souvenir shop. Next stop was the aqueduct in Lapa. Impossible to enjoy the architecture while you’re being approached by homeless people. This felt very unsafe. Witnessing someone defecating on the sidewalk was also not on my to do list in Rio - but it happened. Last stop was the bakery - again a historic building, but a tourist trap so you buy some overpriced baked goods. 14 reals for one coxinha for example. The worst case part of the tour though was the transfer back to our hotel. We were on the way back, then the guide jumped out the car in Centro and we proceeded to drive 20 minutes in the opposite direction with no explanation and the only English speaker having just left the car. As it turned out we were picking up a group from another tour at the science museum and of course they got dropped off at their hotel first. This added another hour to the trip back to the hotel. The itinerary suggested we would be back at our hotels at 12:30pm, I arrived at 2pm. Don’t bother with this tour. Get up early and explore by yourself. I think I spent more time in the car and in queues than I did on the actual tour.
- Tsholofelo M00Great for solo travelersReally enjoyed this tour. Got to see a bunch of the great tourist spots Rio offers from Christ the Redeemer to Sugarloaf mountain, and all the beaches. The tour guide was great. Had a lovely day.
- Annick B00Great tour, great value and great guideDespite a delayed start, the tour was definitely worth it. The guide was very knowledgeable and managed lateness and tardiness of guests well. Christ the Redeemer is a must-do when in Rio and great for pictures. We also did the selaron steps, Sugarloaf and Parque Bondinho. A packed 4 hours and a bit of traffic as well as delays but well handled by the guide and driver. Would recommend.
- Isababy00Hang gliding on RioI would highly recommend my experience to others. Klaus was my instructor he has almost 30 years experience hang gliding. I felt very well instructed and safe. It was an exhilarating experience and I can't wait to do it again.
- germanrM4999AP00Requires up gradeThe van trip seemed a little long. The views and the boat ride were great. The lunch is very poor, the meat and fish options on the restaurant menu are not included and we had to pay separately. This tour requires an upgrade without a doubt
- Passport5485627936600AmazingClaissa was very nice and informative. Made the trip very nice 😊 !!! I really recommend this tour!!

Really disappointed. I had expected an informative relaxed day. The guide right from the start seemed very stressed and on edge. He told us as we arrived at the train up to Christ the Redeamer that he had tickets for 1.55 it was 8.40 and that we might have to go up in small groups and that if we got lost we should make our own way to the cathederal. I found I could not enjoy the visit as I was so worried about getting lost.

I am sorry the tour guide did not handle the situation in a less worrisome manner. He seems to have abused some group control techniques over the groups well-being. I apologize, Susane.

We booked this day tour of Rio before we left the UK. It had good reviews and seemed good value. We were given our time of pick up at time of reservation - very precise at 08:09 from our Marriott Hotel on Copacabana. We started to get a bit concerned when that didn’t happen at the allotted time but Concierge contacted them and we had a revised time of 08:40. The guide Vincent arrived, very apologetic and away we went. First of all Christ the Redeemer, busy, but easy to access whether by climbing the steps or using the escalator. Vincent was leading a mixed group of English and Spanish speakers and did a great job although sometimes it did seem as though the Spanish dialogue took longer than the English. He was very entertaining and looked after us all very well. The views were exceptional as we had a beautiful warm and sunny day. Also brilliant at Sugar Loaf Mountain. The following day it would have been very different as there was low cloud over Rio. The Selaron Steps were a colourful experience and lunch was particularly good at a Brazilian barbecue. Fabulous salad buffet plus more meat than you could eat. Thoroughly recommended. To top it all, we left our camera on the coach and Vincent emailed to let us know. Thankfully, another passenger who we had spent time with and established we were taking the same cruise the next day was able to bring along. Full marks to all.

Vinnt Bom our guide and Reis our driver were excellent. All sites visited were explained adequately and we learned something unique from each stop. Time at each site was adequate and we were not pressured to hurry up. Traffic in Rio is horrible but Reis did fine and we always felt safe.
Vinnt was very helpful and treated us as friends not tourists. He was always there to help with pictures and to direct us to the best spots for pictures.
Lunch at the Brazilian restaurant was better than expected and greatly enjoyed
This was a great tour with excellent guide and driver and would highly recommend.

This full day tour of Rio was excellent!! I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone looking to explore the highlights of Rio in one day without having to worry about planning everything yourself. The tour company picked us up from Hilton Copacabana in the morning and dropped us back off at the end of the day. Lunch is included at a local churrascaria. Aline was an incredible tour guide and spoke three different languages during the day to make sure everyone’s experience was as good as it could be. Having the chance to see a beautiful cathedral, Maracana stadium, Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, and the Selaron steps in addition to the various neighborhoods of Rio was truly worth the price of the excursion. You will not be disappointed if you choose to go this route.

Renata Polacow our guide picked us up promptly from our hotel as arranged and treated us to an amazing day seeing the sights and flavours of Rio. She and our driver Caio navigated us smoothly and efficiently through busy Rio affording us maximum time to see the sights and always very mindful of our safety in terms of dropping us where traffic was quietest and ensuring our boarding and disembarking from the very smart van was easy.
We needed further support for another tour we wanted to book and Ren stayed in touch with us and was fast and efficient in her response. She was very supportive and keen to help. It was a fun tour and a great day in the safe and knowledgeable hands of Renata and Caio. Thanks guys!!

Normally i am not that kind of person who joins organized tours but my colleagues made me scared that Rio can be dangerous so i should rather stay with a group. I didn't regret my decision. This tour was amazing. Pick up was a little late due to the traffic but after that everything perfect. Our guide Geisa and our driver Luis was super nice and helpful, knowledgeable about Rio. It was a bilingual trip (English and Spanish) so Geisa was explaining everything twice in both languages and even though there were more Spanish speakers she took care of both "group" equally. Perfect 1 day program. and the lunch was great as well. Brazilian style BBQ. The van was modern and with AC. we were 19 people. i really recommend this tour. T

Even though fear was your driver to choose us, we are delighted to know you did not regret it 😉
Doing what you did in our full-day tour in Rio on your own is nearly impossible, because attractions are spread apart and you would have spent more time in line.
Please spread the words to your friends and family,😄

We had such an amazing day! This is probably one of the best possible ways to see Rio!
The van was punctual picking us up from our hotel in the morning. Pedro, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the city and the various locations we went to and made it special for everyone. Our driver Alves was fantastic too. He navigated the city, in some difficult places, very well. These guys were extremely professional (and funny too).
Although Rio can be a little intimidating to get around, they made it so comfortable and easy to get through the sites. We had plenty of time to see what we wanted, never feeling rushed, but yet still kept a good pace to see each location well and move forward.
The steakhouse for lunch was very good as well.
All in all, the tour was well worth the price and was a good value for everything we did.
I highly recommend it!

Our guide was Vinny Bom. He is very fluent in English, has a very good accent and diction so we understood every word he said. He knows the places that we visited very well, gave us in dept historical details and on site accurate explanations. He is patient and loves to answer questions. I recommend that when you take this tour to ask for him specifically to be your guide. The driver, Martins, was very good and gave us a smooth ride.

They don't take you anywhere exciting. You can just uber to the places that will cost you much much less than $100p/p. Not sure our tour leader wasn't bright or he was getting paid by the hour, but he didn't go through group tour lines which were much faster and he made us stay in the lines for so long. Even when we told him that why aren't we going to those lines he said that those are for people in wheelchair even though all other tours were going to those lines. At the end we decided to go back ourselves and we took the shorter group tour lines and we were able to get out much faster. Such a waste of time.

Dear Madonna, I'm sorry you did not enjoy your tour. I am answering your review a few months after the situation occurred, so I cannot ask the tour guide to tell me his version.
Unless you take notes of all stops and in the proper order, no Uber driver is going to take to all the places you visited in teh Full Day Tour. Considering the tickets to Christ teh Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, BBQ at Brazilian restaurant + transportation will cost you much more than $100 p/p.
Some places have a smaller line for elderly and people with physical conditions. The guide cannot use this short-track line if not everybody has the right to use the smaller line.
I wish you better experiences in your next trips.

It’s 8 hours, but they have to pick up people from several hotels, and somehow not every person taking the tour was ready when they were supposed to be, so we started late. Still finished by around 5pm
