    What to Expect
Make your way to Hulhumale Jetty and depart by speedboat on a small-group tour with the guide and boat captain.

Dependent on the choice of the tour, we will cruise north or south of Male.

Cruising north, visit the islands of Himmurfushi and Huraa offering firsthand information about local island life. Our experienced guides will accompany you on a tour of each island sharing information on their culture and tradition. In Huraa, gain insights into the simple life led by the villagers, visit a boat building yard and view the process of making Maldivian dry fish. Discover the mangrove swamps and freshwater lake and learn more about this fragile eco-system. At Himmurfushi, take lunch at a local restaurant and visit souvenir shops where you may purchase local handicrafts and mementos.

Cruising south, visit Gulhi and Maafushi. In Gulhi, wander the quiet streets of this small local island. Take time out to relax on the beach and listen to the waves breaking on the white sands. At Maafushi experience life on the island that has led the way with guesthouse tourism. Take lunch at a local restaurant and visit souvenir shops where you may purchase local handicrafts and mementos. For those feeling active, there is time to participate in the many watersports on offer here.

In between island visits, it is possible to snorkel and discover the beauty of this underwater paradise. Sites vary, depending on weather and current conditions, but you can be guaranteed an abundance of colorful tropical fish and coral life.

Following a safety briefing on responsible snorkeling, put on your provided fins, mask, and snorkel and jump into the warm, azure waters of the Indian Ocean. Keep your eyes open for sea turtles, reef sharks, and rays the Maldives is home to, youngsters will want to be on the lookout for Nemo (aka clownfish).

The snorkel guide will not only act as your 'spotter' to point out marine life that may not have caught your eye but will assist less confident or inexperienced snorkelers, ensuring the equipment is comfortable and feel safe in the water. Buoyancy aids are available if needed, but participants should have the ability to swim unaided.

The itinerary concludes at the starting point in Hulhumale.

Dear Sigrun Thank you for your review and for also painting a wonderful description of your day, you followed the 'god's' lead! Delighted that you enjoyed your experience which sounds as though it provided the perfect mix of local island life, spa therapy and relaxation to end your time here in the Maldives. I recall the afternoon of your return well, I was stuck in Male waiting for the rain storm to clear, so I was very happy to hear from Mash and learn you had beaten the weather back to Hulhumale! Thank you for travelling with us, I will be sure to share your comments with Mash and the team. I hope we can welcome you in the future should your work send you back in this direction again. Kind Regards Ruth

Hi Dima and Irina Thank you for your comprehensive review of your North Male Island hopping trip yesterday. Delighted that you enjoyed your day with Shaa and the crew. Shaa had called me and updated me on the ocean conditions so I was pleased to know that it had eased a little in the afternoon. Great to hear you were entertained throughout, the guys all have a great passion for their home and from your feedback it is evident that they shared this with you. I hope you have the opportunity to travel with us again in the future. Kind Regards Ruth

Hi Derek, Thank you for your review and happy birthday! Great to hear you enjoyed your stay and your resort visit. I am sure you will encounter much more marine life on your week long cruise ahead! With regard to payments I do communicate in the initial email, the booking email and also for day tours the confirmation and arrival email our methods of payment. Certainly for our guests joining multi day tours, all pay by bank transfer or online transfer. Currently in the Maldives inward PayPal transactions are not available and for credit card payments where the guest is not present we have to present copies of passport and credit card to the bank for authorization. In our mind this is not the most secure way to make a payment so choose not to provide this service. For day tours where the cost is a lot less we can only accept payment in cash, USD or local currency. The reason for this is two fold. Firstly, as our guides meet with guests at a designated meeting point and not at the office we do not have the facility for mobile credit card POS machine.Secondly, many of our ocean based day tours can be weather dependent and therefore it is easier for both ourselves and the guest not to pre-pay in the event the tour has to be cancelled. I have however taken your comments on board and will highlight the payment terms in bold on future emails. Thanks again for your review which I will share with the team and has also allowed me to improve our services. Enjoy the rest of your Maldives trip. Kind Regards Ruth
