A Fabulous bicycle tour SO cool SO friendly
We decided at the last minute to book this half day island village tour. Six friends in our late 50s taking a great holiday. This tour just made our Vietnam escape an even more memorable holiday. The team at Heaven and Earth are all fantastic people and so friendly and accommodating, nothing was a trouble and our Australian sense of humour was well received the banter was ongoing. Our guides were extremely informative and engaging. We would highly recommend this company for any tours that they may run.. SOOO much fun!

    Fantastic country side experience
Our guide was very kind and experienced. She showed us several places where we could appreciate several artisans craftwork, see the rice fields, farm animals, rice liquor and stunning views. Highly recommended

Unforgettable and Tram was an amazing tour guide
During our time in Vietnam, this was undoubtedly our favourite trip we went on. Tram was a fantastic tour guide, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and had some really interesting personal accounts to share as well. All the experiences on the tour were great and, despite the heat at the time of our trip, the cycling was very manageable and Tram made sure we were regularly able to stop, keeping us topped up with water. An unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Hoi An.

Lovely tour to see a different side of Hoi An
Though the weather was scorching, we thoroughly enjoyed this bike tour. Lola, our tour guide, was informative and very patient as we had our 10 year old with us. She and her assistant guide made sure that we were constantly hydrated and took frequent stops. The tour was manageable for our kid to enjoy and the breaks were well planned. I really enjoyed the views of the paddy fields and also the details that Lola provided throughout the tour. Lola also took great photos for us! There were little activities peppered through the tour and we even managed to go on a basket boat ride in a nearby river. I'd highly recommend this tour if you're keen to see a more cosy and untouched-by-tourist-side of Hoi An, suitable for cyclists of any levels!

bike tour with Tram is without a doubt a higlight
Tram, who guided us, was simply stunning. The bike tour started with Tram giving us a brief overview of our route. Tram speaks a good English. The bike tour was very well planned, everything worked out perfectly. Tram conveyed an almost family atmosphere by the way she combined her own experiences and with the facts/the information, but still kept the distance to us as clients. We sensed that Tram is enthusiastic about her profession. It was also pleasing that we saw many handicrafts, but there was never any question that we as tourists should buy something. This was solved by the young lady so that everyone received a few dong and that without making much fuss about it / or rather hidden. You realize that I can not stop raving. What we also didn't know was that lunch was always included, which was always sensational, and we were also provided with as much water as we wanted. (It was inconvenient to have to say that drinks were not included in the price, which was perfectly fine with us since we didn't expect lunch to be included.) We did many nice excursions on our three-week trip through Vietman, but the bike tour with Tram is without a doubt one of the highlights. Christina and Oliver

Different view of Hoi An and village life
Great trip. Cycled along paths and mainly off road. The small parts on road felt daunting but were actually fine and really felt like a local. Guide was informative and went at our pace! We went very early in the morning due to heat and that was a bonus!

    Great insight to local life
Very enjoyable half day touring the local area, seeing craftsmen at work, trying out a basket boat (not easy!), sampling rice wine 🙂and having a good lunch at a family’s house. Felt like we were a little off the beaten track, cycling past water buffalo and locals drying out their rice on the road. There is limited cycling involved, which suited us as it was a very hot and humid day. Appreciated the small group experience. Our guide, Lola, and team were excellent!

Interesting insights you would not otherwise experience
Was lovely to see a totally different side to Vietnam which you wouldn’t normally be exposed to by wandering around town without a guide. The one thing I would add is that I would personally have preferred to spend a little bit more time on the bike, riding and taking in the landscape. The tour allowed us to observe the lives of local people up close giving a real insight into how they live. Our tour guide Lola was very friendly and knowledgeable and overall we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Great day out with great guides
Highly recommended. We spent the afternoon in the lovely Hoi An countryside and had a fantastic experience. The program is versatile with plenty of interesting stops and some breathtaking scenery. Moreover, you couldn't wish for better tour guides, Tram and Tanh really were very professional, helpful and so much fun to be with!

    Fantastic- an unforgettable experience
Fantastic- if you want to see the real Vietnam do this tour. The best experience so much was packed into our day and we also felt we helped the smaller villages by coming out to see and experience country life and traditional crafts.

    Family cycle tour
We really enjoyed our half day cycle. Our tour guide was excellent, really informative and took us to experience a number of local craft makers, see how rice wine was made and try out a traditional wooden basket boat. Lunch too was very good. All in all a great day. Would definitely recommend.

    Bicycle Tour
We do the bicycle tour over the morning and returned mid afternoon - it was awesome and would recommend it to anyone who is visiting Hoi An. It shows you village life outside the city and cycle through rice paddies and villagers. The guides were great fun and full of local information and facts.

    Exceptional
This allowed us to experience the culture in a small community. We felt that we gained more intimate access to their way of life. Lola, our guide was most excellent. She made our time special. We would highly recommend this tour as it was one of our best memory in Vietnam .

Great trip. Everything was explained well throughout. Involved much more than I was expecting. We got to watch and experience lots of local trades. The tour guide was very informative, and helpful in asking questions. Would really recommend.

My husband & i & our adult daughter went on the bikes for the day & thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was a great way to see the Vietnam countryside & our tour guide Tran was very informative & helpful.
I was determined to do the ride even though I hadn’t ridden a bike for 20 years as I wanted to see the real Vietnam & unfortunately fell off twice. Apart from my pride no injuries & Tran & her helper were excellent & helped with ice on a few scrapes. They waited until I was ready to cycle again & I never felt rushed.
We would certainly recommend the trip as we learnt about rice growing, & traditional life in the countryside.
Overall it’s good value & an enjoyable day out.

I did the Real Vietnam tour with Tram and Goldfish and it was the best tour I did during my Vietnam travels so far. Both girls are so friendly and sweet and really looked after us. The itinerary through rice paddies and small Vietnamese villages was simply amazing. I learned a lot about Vietnam that day and I enjoyed the tour so much! Lunch was also delish. Thank you Tram and Goldfish for an amazing day!

Had an absolutely brilliant day doing the Real Vietnam Bicycle Tour with Tram and Lucky. Our group was a good size and our guides were great at making sure the bikes were good to go and had a really good system for having cold water which was greatly appreciated!
The cycling was quite flat and even though it was rocky at times didn’t feel unmanageable and with frequent stops hardly felt like we had done the 25k. Wanted to give a huge thank you to Tram and Lucky for being so enthusiastic and knowledgable about everything we were shown and making it a really fun day.
Would definitely recommend if you are in Hoi An, a unique way to see more than the Old Town!

We opted for the shorter 25km day trip which for us was the correct choice. This was near perfect balance of cycling filled with interesting stops (well balanced across the day) to see some of the local traditions. Seeing the making of the rice cracker & noodles, on a small open fire one at a time and 80kg a day meaning she starts at 4am every day is humbling. Oh and the happy water (rice wine tasting was great....even the snake wine, yep, really)Tram and Lucky were the perfect guides, interesting, funny and very attentive to all the group. If you want to do one trip in Hoi An you would do a lot worse than putting this at the top.

Despite making last minute adjustments, Pascal and Thu were incredibly accommodating and helpful. We initially booked for the adventure tour but decided the day before that we would like to do a shorter cycle. Arriving on the morning Pascal said he would take us as far as we would like, stopping along the way frequently for pictures, coffee, food and other refreshments. Pascal was really informative and pointed out lots of local information along the way. He knows the countryside of Hoi An very well.

This activity is an amazing way to explore Hoi An in a fit & challenging way as you get to see beautiful paddy fields, multiple temples and some of the locals who show their various jobs such as rice making and bed mat making. BUT, we were not aware of how hard the bike ride would be. We were in the sun for probably 70% of the time and with it being around 35 degrees the 25KM bike ride felt extremely intense. The tour guides were so kind and brought lots of icy water that was given to us throughout the whole day, but I would definitely recommend bringing snacks such as protein or granola bars, hydrolytes and sunscreen or zinc as the day in the heat feels never ending!

Our cycling adventure with Lola around the local Hoi An islands was just above and beyond! The 27km bike ride wasn’t difficult and “sexy lady” basket boot shouldn’t be missed! This was by far our best excursion as we got to spend time with a local one on one in the countryside. Lola was both entertaining and just a lovely person! Would be 10 stars if we could.

We had the full day, +25 km real vietnam bicycle tour, and it was an amazing experience. We had read about the bicycle tours taking all tourists to these crowded tourist cirkus places right outside of Hoi An, and we definitely didn't want that, so were happy to see the explanations on Heaven and Earth's websites, that they wanted to go beyond the beaten track and show more authentic Vietnam - and we felt like they certainly did. It was great to only be a very small group, and our guide Tram was fantastic, so knowledgeable about the history, the area, the crops, the local life etc and her English was perfect. The biking was great as well, we were really out and about, crossing bridges between the islets of the delta, biking in between rice paddies, local villages etc. The biking was not strenuous as such, mostly flat, but a bit bumpy. Nice lunch at a family's house, and also some interesting visits to learn about mat weaving, bamboo boats and rice wine. Would definitely recommend.

We did the full day tour with Tram and “Goldfish” and this was the best bike tour we’ve taken anywhere. Easy pace, beautiful scenery, interesting and flat route, many cultural and rest stops, perfect timing on the boat rendezvous, perfect group size (eight), and excellent, informative guides. I can’t recommend it highly enough. You will see a slice of Vietnam few tourists experience.

This is the second tour I have booked through this tour company and they are by far the best tour company I have experienced in Vietnam. We cycled through villages and rice paddies. Had a great lunch. Our guide, Lola, was absolutely incredible as was her assistant Quyen. We cycled all day and visited so many places of interest. Last time in Hoi An I did their cooking class and was similarly impressed.
