What to say? Helped out and arranged all in our time of need.
After being left on safari by our previous guide due to them not being paid by our tour operator. We contacted rupiaadventures.com ( Matty) as recommended by Joseph our Kenyan gude on +254 706 629051. We quickly arranged our ongoing safari, and through Tanzania to the safari parks mentioned in this trip, we had a high-quality safari vehicle with a top quality guide ( Stanley) . We camped on the Serengeti and in high class accommodation. This company also organised our flights from Arusha on to Zanzibar for the last days of our holiday. So so helpful and accommodating with our needs.

          Impressive Safari
The safari in Tanzania is simply the best. All the parks are amazing, the environment is perfect to feel the wild life going on right in front of your eyes. Ngorongoro the the highlight. The booking and treatment with Matt were really good from the first contact. I really reccomend it.

A professional experience that made our Tanzania Safaris easy and smooth
Overall, a very well organized professional experience. Matt, the owner, was incredibly flexible and accommodating when planning the trip. He was very communicative and responsive and helped make this trip stress free. Some notable points - we ended up booking directly with Matt outside of trip advisor, as it enabled a more customized experienced. We stayed in lodges during our safari, but Matt also booked hotels before and after the safari, including rides, to enable easy stays and transfer from Kilimanjaro airport. Pros: Mvuli Lodge was incredible. Beautiful views, highly caring staff, and brand new accommodations. Food and service were both great. Ngorongoro is absolutely worth the trip. Breathtaking in all respects and wildlife everywhere. Cons: Jua Manyara lodge was pretty much a hostel with a private bathroom. Acceptable given the short planning timeline and busy season, but, if at all possible stay at Mvuli Lodge both nights. Minor, but there was some confusion among drivers as we were passed off to several different drivers and guides over the course of three days. It wasn't really a problem, but it did result in some downtime. Recommendations/Expectations: Stay at Mvuli Lodge for as much time as possible. The parks are a couple hours from Arusha, if you stay in town before or after the trip. So when figuring out flights, factor that in. Bring cash. USD or shillings are generally acceptable, but most places don't take card. Plan for some tips, waters, and coffee purchases. We stayed in Mvuli Hotel in Arusha for our bookend stays. It was definitely acceptable, but nothing is reasonably nearby, so expect to just eat at the hotel restaurant and hang in your room. Personally, I would say that Ngorongoro is a must. Lake Manyara and Tarangire were both amazing in their own rights, but I could have went with one and not the other. Instead, if you can get Serengeti into the itinerary, do that. We didn't go, but we came across other travelers that did, and their pictures were incredible.

          Beyond Our Expectations
From the beginning booking with Matt who offered suggestions was willing to accomadate to my request it went so very smoothly. Once on the ground Pendael the guide, driver was extremely knowledgeable about the animals, birds and trees. He also seemed able to predict which path the animals would take so that I was in a position to view these wonderful animals. Samuel the cook made some delicious meals an and was a source of information about modern African history. Their colleague Silas , in Kenya was also very knowledgeable and respectful of the animals. This trip far exceeded my expectations. I saw the Big 5 and so very much more. The wildebeest migration is a bit overwhelming so many animals. If I ever make it back to Africa I will be traveling with Rupia Adventure. I will recommend them to my friends and any6interested in Safari.

          Excellent journey to Tanzania
I recently returned from a 5 days safari arranged by Rupia Adventure in Tanzania - the safari covered Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Manyara national parks. Because I had fixed dates and could not change them, I ended up in a one-person safari, which actually worked out fine. I had the guide and the vehicle to myself, which was great. Long story short - I had a great time and would absolutely recommend Rupia Adventure. Two people contributed to taking this trip enjoyable. The first is Jolanda, the consultant who worked with me in setting up the itinerary. She was responsive, easy to work with, and diligent - even though I had some questions about the trip and the various logistics involved, she was absolutely helpful at every point, right up to the point where I left Tanzania to go back home. The second person who made a huge difference was Enock, my guide. Blessed with an upbeat, cheerful, and infectious personality, Enock was absolutely great on the long rides. His ability to spot animals was uncanny, as was his knowledge about the various species of birds and animals on the safari. He made sure things were in order, went out of his way to make things comfortable for me, and helped me gain a whole new perspective on wildlife. Even when we had a minor accident (our vehicle got stuck in a waterhole in Manyara for a while), Enock was there trying his best to get things back on even keel. At no point did I feel unsafe or in danger. He helped me get to another vehicle which brought me back to the lodge, while additional equipment was brought to the site to extract the stuck vehicle. In the bargain, I got to make a couple of new friends in the vehicle that gave me a ride. All other facilities made by the company were great. The lodges were clean, functional, and well-maintained. Actually, a couple of the lodges were rather luxurious, which was not what I expected but was happy to see. The arrangements were made with care, attention to detail, and worked out very nicely for me. All in all, a memorable 5 days in and around Arusha.

          Good safari
From the first conversation with Matt for the trip planning to the last animal sighting with our guide Gerson, Rupia Adventure made this trip, "The Trip of a Lifetime". The game drives, Bush camps, Lodges, cultural tours and knowledge of the animals and the land, nothing could have been better. Food was great, service in all of the camps was wonderful. I would recommend Rupia Adventure to anyone who is looking for a Safari experience that will be talked about for years to come.

After an incredible 4-day Mount Meru hike with Gideon, we couldn’t resist booking a Kilimanjaro day hike with him. It was another great experience!

The day hike offered a breathtaking rainforest and a fantastic taste of Kilimanjaro’s grandeur. I have to admit i lost my camera near the top and only realized it near the foot after a full day of hiking. Gideon literally turned around and ran the whole way back to check for my camera. Our driver who was waiting at the bottom was also helping and made some calls to the top but unfortunately it seems like it got taken. Still i apprechiate all the dedication.

If you decide to do this hike, this should definitely be your team!

Amazing tour to Mandara Hut through rain forest. 900 high meter but easy to hike (not very speep). We booked this tour for our last day of our Tanzania journey at Rupia Adventure because we had 10 days earlier best experiences with Rupia at the 4 day Mt. Meru hiking trip. We were very satisfied with Rupia and we ordered the same guide Gidion because we were thrilled about his guiding and this amazing "friend". Nice trip, a taste of Kili, full day service from Rupia and best guide ever - good combination.

The Mt Kili 1-day hike by Rupia Adventures was the best 16km I've done in my life. From a prompt early morning pickup, drive to the Park by Joseph with a breakfast break and formalities at the entrance by guide Mescheck assisted by Mazikis I was ready. It took a few hours uphill thru the most beautiful tree cover, foliage, water falls, broken by educational pointers on plant life, sighting of Blue Monkey families in the trees above and then several larger black and white monkeys. The guides were highly attentive to every nuance of the climb, ever willing to take a breather for my sake, encouraging water intake before thirst. We reached Mandara Hut at about 9000 feet, the air just a little cooler, no packed lunch ever tasted so good, we then turned around to descend. While descending I wondered: did we climb this earlier today? Arriving back at the starting point was a feeling of great satisfaction. Credit goes to the hike organizer Matt of Rupia Adventures and the outstanding guide Meschack, assistant Mazikis and driver Joseph. If you haven't done this hike you're missing out, unless you're into the 5-day summit. Those who are safari-bound can also easily add this Mt Kili hike, it's gorgeous.

Although I underestimated the difficulty and overestimated my capacity, I am extremely pleased with the day. Started with early pick-up at Arusha to return around 20:30.
Contact with Mathias once I had booked the trip were quick and efficient. Driver Abraham and guide Emmanuel were both fantastic.
Could provide more tourist information during the three hour drive to and from the mountain though.
The hike is very demanding, particularly if you are not in great shape. Start as early as possible to get more time to breath on top at the hut. Unfortunately, we did not see the top of Kili but still very pleased with the experience.
Will be using Rupia on other excursions this week as well.

I did a day hike on the marangu route and it was really worth going for the hike. My guide Meshack told me a lot about the nature we were walking through, the Kilimanjaro routes and climbing and tried to teach me a bit of Swahili.
Transfer was good and we even stopped along the road, that I could take pictures of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

I contacted Matt a day before the tour and he was able to accommodate my request, but I had to pay in cash. I took this tour during covid-19 pandemic. I was the only participant. We hiked around 20-25km. Lunch box was provided. We took Marangu route till the first hut (Mandara) and returned to parking lot. We took a private car with driver and hiking guide. It was a nice hike with beautiful scenery.

Ibrahim, the manager, is an Bad person! He was rude and unprofessional. The service provided was terrible. I would never ever book another trip with this guy.
The driver, Johnson, was ok and also the lady working for him, who arranged our transfers, was ok. But Matt, the man who owns the bussiness, should find something elso to do for living, as in tourism he's a disaster.

We had a very nice day hike on the Kili, thanks to Rupia Adventure and their great logistic skills. With my 12 years old boy, I was not planning to go for many days on a hike, even though I'm fond of hiking, but as we were in Arusha so close to the Kili, it was a must for me just to step on it for few hours :) The day hike is really easy and the trail is shady so you won't suffer from the heat. The driver was safe and the guides were really friendly. We had a really good lunch box as well with too much food for us (but too much is better than not enough).

It was a bizarre experience and I would not recommend Rupia Adventure.

The pick up was 30min late because the driver got lost. The car was old, one front light didn't work and it felt like it's going to fall apart. Our guide Johnny didn't speak to us at all, instead he walked quietly in front of us. Also, he hardly spoke any English, hence didn't understand our questions-which we had to repeat multiple times for him to get it. Once he got it, he didn't know the answer. We asked for information about the Crater but he said he doesn't know the answer. (So I wonder why we need a guide than) At the end of the trip he even had the audacity to ask us if we know the rules how much we have to tip him. (Btw. I didn't give him anything)
I can not compare how other companies are- but I would recommend to try other companies.
