Full-day Banteay Srei, Preah Dak, and Temples Tour from Siem Reap
From US$42.00
Go beyond the typical Angkor Archaeological Park experience on this tour of Banteay Srei, Preah Dak village, and Eastern Mebon. You’ll see architecture that’s distinct from more centrally located Angkor sites, visit a temple in the middle of a dried-up lake, and stop for some handicraft shopping. Hear guide commentary along the way, and enjoy convenient hotel pickup and drop-off for a hassle-free day trip.
What to Expect
Meet your driver at your Siem Reap hotel, then ride in an air-conditioned vehicle to Angkor Archaeological Site. Purchase an admission ticket before continuing to Banteay Srei, often called the “Citadel of Women.” Here, you’ll see a series of three central towers carved from pink sandstone that have remarkable craftsmanship and detail.
Next, continue back to the main part of Angkor Archaeological Site, pausing in the village of Preah Dak along the way to browse handicrafts made by locals. After a break for lunch (own expense), head to Eastern Mebon, a temple built in the heart of the Eastern Baray, once an artificial lake. The final temple stops of the day are Prasat Neak Pean and Preah Khan, each fascinating sites located off the main Angkor traveler circuit. The tour concludes with return transportation to your hotel.

Great day!

Unique tour with some very beautiful temples other than Angkor Wat. Great for a break away from crowds of tourists, no less interesting, with Banteay Srei which seemed the most amazing one of all. Knowledgeable tour guide! Really enjoyed it.
