Day 3: Pacaymayo - Wiñaywayna

Pass By: Winay Wayna, Machu Picchu Peru
This is one of the longest days, but at the same time one of the most beautiful, due to the presence of Inca constructions along the trail. This day we will get up at 6:00 AM, and after a succulent breakfast we will start our hike ascending a steep path, and shortly we will arrive at the ruins of Runkurakay, a beautiful Inca construction, in an oval shape, which is believed to have served as an Inca watchtower. After an explanation we will continue until we reach the Runkurakay pass, located at approximately 3900 meters above sea level. Descend to a beautiful valley full of vegetation in which we will visit the ruins of Sayacmarka, located at 3624 meters.

This is an interesting Inca construction, built on a very steep slope, surrounded by a wonderful chain of mountains. After visiting Sayacmarka, we will continue descending towards the cloud forest, until we reach the ruins of Puyupatamarka, composed of impressive fountains and water channels, without a doubt a spectacular hydraulic engineering work done by the Incas, then we will continue descending until we reach a of the most beautiful Inca buildings of the place. It is the ruins of Wiñaywayna, After exploring every corner of Wiñaywayna, we will go to our last camp, which is located a few meters from the place. In this last camp, walkers will have access to better showers, hot water and baths. Here there is also a restaurant where you can buy drinks. This will be the night we will have to say goodbye to our porters or staff of the tour, therefore, at night there will be a small party to thank everyone for sharing this beautiful experience with the group.

Meals included:
• Breakfast: After a good rest a buffet breakfast is ready to start the walk.

Day 4: Wiñaywayna - Machupicchu.

Pass By: Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu Peru
On this last day, we will get up at 4:00 AM, to then have breakfast, and quickly present ourselves at the control gate to enter the path that will take us directly to the citadel of Machu Picchu. It is advisable to bring a good flashlight because at this time it is still dark. After having walked for about 1 hour and a half, we will arrive at Inti Punku, or Puerta del Sol, a magnificent point from which we can already see the citadel of Machu Picchu in the distance. Finally descend to one of the seventh wonders of the world "Machu Picchu" that rises to a height of 2430 meters above sea level, in the middle of a tropical forest, and with an extraordinary location. It was undoubtedly one of the most wonderful urban creations in the Inca boom era. Its enormous walls, terraces, and ramps seem to be naturally cut continuously in the rocky cliffs.

Our local guide will make a tour of the most important sectors of this beautiful Inca citadel for about 2 hours and then you will have free time to explore the city on your own. Around 1:00 AM, we will be taking a bus that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes, place where they will have lunch and then they will go to the station for their return to the city of Cusco.
