Santiago Local Life and Markets Small-Group Bike Tour
Santiago’s markets are one of the best ways to learn about everyday life in Chile’s capital city, but their sheer size and activity level can be intimidating to tackle independently. This Santiago bike tour takes you down tried-and-tested paths to reach three Santiago markets, including a prepared foods, produce, and seafood market—all while filling you in on the city’s history.
What to Expect
Begin your Santiago bike tour when you meet you guide and small group downtown. After getting set up with a bike and helmet, begin to follow your guide on a 4-mile route (6 kilometers) to three of the city’s top markets.

Over the course of the morning, visit a prepared food, vegetable, and seafood market. Your guide takes you through the bustling stalls, pointing out foods you might not recognize, filling you in on Santiago’s history, and answering any questions from your small group as you go. You can buy anything that strikes your fancy, and might even get to sample some foods from vendors.

Your Santiago bike tour concludes at your original departure point.

AMAZING - recommend to all!

My first and massive praise is to our tour guide Hector he was lovely, informative and funny and really made me feel at ease as I wasn’t confident on the bike at first (though I surprised myself as by the end I wasn’t too bad!)....More
