After your cruise ship docks at the picturesque port of Puerto Montt, greet your guide and climb aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan. Sink into your seat and enjoy the scenic drive across the southern shore of Lake Llanquihue. Arrive at the spectacular Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park and embark upon a gentle hike to Petrohue Falls.
Absorb arresting natural landmarks as you stroll, marveling at waterfalls tumbling down the slopes of volcanic rocks. Gaze at iridescent spectrums of blue and green water and inhale the fragrant air of a dense forest before capturing the powerful waterfall on camera.
Continue to All Saints Lake, declared the Emerald Lake due to the glittering variety of color that sparkles on its surface, and enjoy an optional boat ride to the provincial village of Ensenada. Feast upon a traditional Chilean lunch in a rustic restaurant (own expense) then set out to discover the secretive and seclude Laguna Verde, a lake enveloped by dense forest.
Return to the minivan and relax during the return journey to Puerto Montt; arrive well in advance of your cruise ship departure time.
