Kayaking experience from mainland to Ubin
I went on the Kayak tour hosted by Darren and I must say it is one of the best tours of Singapore I have ever been on. Darren is a knowledgeable tour guide that knows the bio-diversity of Pulau Ubin inside out. He also has an extensive range of tidbits to feed curious minds about the historical-cultural history of Singapore. After this tour you will find yourself having a deeper and more nuanced understanding of Singapore's history and ecology, a big plus for the conservation of historically and ecologically significant sites in Singapore.

Start your Singapore visit on the right foot
The Sneakpeek Singapore tour with Darren is a must for anyone who wants to quickly get a broad understanding of the Lion City and its people. Darren didn’t just talk, he had props like maps, old money, and spices. He explained everything from the earliest days of the island to social issues of today. He was so entertaining that the five hours went by so quickly. His stops were so well arranged that planned stops in air-conditioned buildings helped us cool down in the tropical heat. He even gave preprinted maps and recommendations that we used for the rest of our days. Go on a tour with Sneakpeek and it will get your visit off on the right foot

An informative tour with the quintessential tour guide!
Darren, our tour guide, was passionate, energetic, very knowledgeable, quick-witted, well organized, and fun - what more could you possibly expect in a tour guide. Using stories, maps, drama, and the landscape and city structures, Darren provided a concise yet comprehensive overview of Singapore’s origins, evolution through time, current history, cultural norms, cuisine (and samples of it), and insight on what it’s like to live here as a citizen. Luckily, we managed to participate on the tour during our first day - it provided us the context and framework to plan the rest of out trip. Don’t hesitate to go on this tour especially early on in your visit.

Best Tour I've Ever Done
Mar 2020 • Solo
I've visited Singapore before, but the guide brings you to places truly off the beaten path and weaves stories and history you probably wouldn't know otherwise. You'll look at Singapore differently with the knowledge you gain. Our guide Jan Chow, was full of energy and ethusiasm. He is friendly, helpful, and has a fun sense of humor. If you're hesitating to do this tour, just stop and book the tour already. Enjoy!

My best moment in Singapore! - Amazing Walking Tour Sneakpeak
Feb 2020
My best moment in Singapore? Walking with Jan Chow and other Sneakpeekers from Singapore's center through the business district and finally China Town! Jan Chow was the perfect guide to learn about the stories and secrets of this diverse and multifaceted city. He was friendly, kind and keep smiling at my thousand questions :-) I truly enjoyed my walk and my time on the tour!! Thank you very much!

Great tour for those with a packed schedule
Feb 2020
This was a great tour that I needed b/c I only had about 48 hours in Singapore. The guide was super nice, I learned a lot about the history of the country, and we got some tasty snacks. It's well worth it and you get those steps in.

Amazing guide, amazing food, amazing history!
Jan Chow made this tour so great! He is a very entertaining talker and really made the history flow. He is great at remembering information about each person which helped the group bond. We tried yummy dishes, stopped for great snacks, and ended with a stunning rooftop view. I can’t recommend this tour enough!

Great tour with enthusiastic guide
Jan 2020
It is always great if you only have only a short time in a place to take a tour with a local, who can give you that more in depth understanding of the place they live in. Jan was our perfect host on this particular tour. Even with 30 of us to cope with he managed to memorise everyone's names within a few minutes and gave all of us plenty of individual attention throughout the day (we met at 1pm and didn't say our farewells until well after 6.30 pm) Not once did we feel the numbers was a problem. In fact it was great to be able to hear opinions and stories from different people from so many places in the world. Jan was enthusiastic, funny, warm, interesting and generous. We had great day. The more than five hours seemed to zip by and with lots of stops along the way, the walking was easy enough, even for us pensioners.

This was the only tour we had time for but if others are any better, then they must be something really special. I'd recommend this one all day long.

Excellent Walking Tour
Dec 2019
We had an excellent time exploring Singapore with our guide Jan. The tour was very informative and professional, and I really enjoyed the food stop at the Maxine Hawker Centre. Jan was an excellent guide, happy to answer any questions and was very knowledgable and funny! Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see a bit more of Singapore than just the typical tourist locations.
