Ten wonderful days in Beijing, China, and Lhasa, Tibet, with a train trip connecting them
Jul 2019 • Friends
We asked Tibet Vista to organize a personal and private tour for 2, evolving 4 days in Beijing visiting all the great attractions including the Great Wall on a far section, getting us tickets on soft sleepers on the train from Beijing to Lhasa in a 41 hours trip and a 5 days tour in Lhasa: monasteries, temples and landscapes. Finally we asked for a direct flight between Lhasa and Kathmandu. Everything was perfectly organized as we asked for. Good Hotels in Beijing and Lhasa, very good cars and drivers and amazing guides: Randy, in Beijing, and Dawa, in Lhasa. Friendly, attentive to our needs, punctual, funny, good appearance and dressed properly and having an amazing knowledge of their job and on the answers on all the questions asked

Best Tibet Lhasa tour company

This travel agency is very professional from Jim Pel their internet company agent to Garong my tour guide. Also nice hotel that they provide with quality rooms. I don’t usually take guided tours but its required if your traveling to Lhasa and would highly recommend them.

Lots of culture in four days
Travel arrangements and permits were well organized and we always got a fast reply.

The tour consisted of two guided days at Lhasa, one day at Shigatse and one seeing sights on the road between Lhasa and Shigatse. First and last days are for travel and can be used to explore Lhasa independently if you have time.

Our tour guide Jigmi provided information on the sights, Tibetan culture and history, which we would have otherwise missed. He led the tour very flexibly and guided us to good spots for photography. One of the highlights for the trip was seeing the monks chanting at Tashilunpo monastery.

Our hotels were booked by Tibevista. The Gang Gyan hotel in Lhasa was ok and definitely its location was excellent with the benefit that all tours started from there. But it might be a good option to look also for alternatives if you want a more authentic hotel or guesthouse.

November was a good month to visit, as there wasn’t that many tourists, but weather wasn’t too cold. In our tour group we had totally 6 people, i.e. it wasn’t too big. More popular tours will likely have more people.

Long awaited trip in Tibet, fantastic and memorable experience!
May 2018 • Friends
I waited for more than a decade to visit Tibet because of difficulty, getting permit entry.
Tibet Vista offer travelers excellent service, assisting them in arranging personalised trips, permit entry and flight tickets.

We booked the five night central Tibet culture small group tour in November 2017. We we were unable to join the pre- set date itinerary, May 16th. However, Chloe Xin who responded to my email reassured me that we could join another group a day later without extra cost. In fact, we received a discount c/o booking early and there were 4 of us travelling on this trip. To our surprise, we were in a group of six on our first day, to visit the Potala Palace, Sera monastery and for our trip to Shigatse, Gyantse and back to Lhasa to visit Drepung monastery and Jokhang temple, the four of us traveled in a comfortable mini van and we had an excellent tour guide, Kelsang, who informed us about the culture and history of Tibet.

We would like to thank and commend Chloe, Tenzin Everest and Kelsang for an enjoyable and memorable trip in Tibet.

Chloe was very efficient and responded to all my queries promptly. She and Tenzin, helped my other two travelling companions in getting their missing luggage, which arrived 2 days later in Lhasa. Their luggage got lost during transit from Beijing to Chengdu. Thank to a kind airport employee who spoke English, we managed to track the missing luggage, which was left behind in Beijing. This kind person contacted the air line on our behalf and liaised with Chloe to ensure that the luggage were sent to Tibet Vista head office. Apparently, luggage getting lost, is not unusual when travelling in China . It is a good idea to pack some clothes in your cabin suit case
.
Do not allow the high altitudes and worries about getting visa and permit entry stop you from visiting Tibet. I recommend Tibet Vista for a fast, and reliable service!

Unforgettable trip in Tibet
Dec 2017 • Family
Tibet is always a mystery in my life until I really touched down in Lhasa last week. Me and my sister were planned for it since last year, and this year, we have fulfilled our wish after long time.

Before we headed to Lhasa, our friends keep advising us to do this do that to avoid the mountain sickness. Besides, we also from a tropical country, we also worried about the weather in Tibet, we are not so sure whether we can stay healthy for 6 days in Tibet.

Travelling in the winter months meant very few tourists however it was bitterly cold, particularly in the mornings, but with brilliant blue skies all day and every day.

Since we touched down in Tibet, we felt so excited about everything in our surrounding. As we are foreigner, we also felt sceptical about the people here, the culture, political, and etc.... we felt we would like to know this area so much.

Our tour guide Norbu is our guiding angel, his ability to share his extensive knowledge of the religious-historical sites and Tibetan culture. He was so passion and tirelessly shared his profound knowledge of Tibetan culture, history and religion and we felt very safe and happy in his care.

The group I was travelling with were absolutely awesome. Such a great bunch of people with similar interests and such zest for life and adventure. We created a strong bond over the course of a week that we are now life long friends.

Lastly, Thank you Norbu and all my travelling mate for such a magical and memorable experience!

Dear Hua, Thank you for taking your time to share your memorable travel experience! Like you, many of our clients feel both excited and uncertain about what to expect in Tibet, esp. to those who live in a tropical country and would enjoy Tibet tour in winter. With a good physical and mental preparation, you can adapt yourself easily and quickly to the Tibetan Plateau. And your previous concerns would soon be dispelled after you meet our hospitable and considerate Tibetan guide. Traveling with a bunch of like-minded international tourists is one of the biggest features of our small group tour. It's perfect chance to exchange your global travel experience and make friends with interesting travelers. It's of our great pleasure to serve you and we look forward to traveling with you again in Tibet! Best Wishes

Excellent experience in Tibet!
Aug 2017 • Friends
We had a group of eight from Vancouver, Canada. We flight more than 12 hours from here to Xining, that's the capital city of Qinghai, very peaceful and well-organized city in northern part of China, we decided took the train from here to Lhasa so we could have a chance to enjoy the views on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. We have been warmly welcomed in the train station by our guide Yangkyi, she was very enthusiastic and responsible. During the journey, she told us about the history of Lhasa. During the five-day trip, she took us to attractions such as Yamdrok Lake, Namtso Lake, Potala Palace and the Jokhang Temple and so on. We're very engaged in the history happened in the land. I think Lhasa is a real magical place, everything living in harmony, away from the noise, is a real Pure Land. On the last day of our visiting, our mini-van driver sent us to the airport with a pretty reasonable price. I have to say this agency did the fansatic job during our visit. Thank you guys all! This is my second-time visit Tibet but I'll definitely come again!

Dear Jeremy, I really appreciated your sincere feedback and trust in using our service. Through reading, I could feel the excitement and great enjoyment you had when traveling with our Tibetan guide and staff in Tibet. Your wonderful tour experience was the best reward for us. Since most of our seasoned Tibetan guides themselves were the dedicated wife and husband in a big Tibetan family, no one knew better than them as to how to serve the clients of different age and preferences. And Tibet is such a mysterious and holy land, full of unlimited opportunities for exploration. I sincerely hope you will visit Tibet for the third time and travel with us, Tashi Delek!
