    What to Expect
Your tour begins with a pickup from your central Beijing hotel by your private guide at a time of your choosing.

The first stop of the day is Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world, with space for up to one million people. As you stroll around the grand square, learn more about its importance throughout history and hear about the many significant political events that have taken place in the square.

Continue to the Forbidden City, once the epicenter of the Imperial City and the largest ancient palace complex in the world. Follow your guide on a walking tour of the UNESCO World Heritage site, admiring the palatial buildings and cultural relics that date back to the Ming and Qing dynasties.

After passing through the grand Meridian Gate into the 250-acre (100-hectare) imperial palace complex, your tour can be tailored to your preferences. Perhaps uncover the many treasures on display in the Palace Museum; visit the Hall of Ancestral Offerings (Clocks Gallery); or stroll around the maze of courtyards, palaces, pavilions and gardens.

Your tour ends at the east wing of the Forbidden City, from where you can continue sightseeing independently or make your own way back to the hotel.

I was only visiting Beijing for a short time and this tour was a great way to see Tiananmen and the Forbidden City. My guide met me at my hotel, took care of tickets for the Forbidden City and was very informative along the way.

Me, my husband and our three kids (aged 7, 11 and 11) booked a tour for the Forbidden city. The tickets were sold out due to the 70th celebration but Miko (our tourguide) managed to get us tickets. We had a wonderful experience with Miko. He had very much knowledge and was very

I booked this tour for my boyfriend and I after reading all the great reviews. Our tour guide was David. He was about 10 minutes late (not a huge deal), but once he got to our hotel said he would order us a taxi to go to Tiananmen. We suggested instead that we take the metro,

Dear Friend Thank you for your feedback, we will try our best to improve our services in the future. Regarding your tour, it was during the Chinese National Holiday, when you make the booking, Forbidden city tickets already sold out, we still managed your tickets to get in. Due to this year's special event - 70 years anniversary of founding The Peoples' Republic of China. Many roads was blocked for the celebration. Lots of condition we are not able to forecast. We are sorry that your tour guide was late for 10 minutes, he already start to heading to your hotel 2 hours before the start time, however the traffic to your hotel was so bad. During the holiday, the subway stations near Tian'anmen square all closed, thats why the tour suggest to take the taxi (please note this tour including the hotel pick up for hotels within the 3rd ring road of Beijing city, but the transportation fee is not included). When getting closer to Tian'anmen square, as you can see ,the road was blocked by the police, David don't know this condition either. During the holiday, imaging 80,000 people in the forbidden city, we are sorry that when tour guide give explanation about the attractions, it is hard to listen and hear. After the tour of the Forbidden city, you hope David take you to the Temple of Heaven, he agreed, at the north end of the Forbidden city there is no way to get a taxi, and no subway station, the best way is by bus, after exit, you only walked 1 minute arrived at the bus station. David accompanied you in the Temple of heaven, and offer detailed histories and stories about the temple although it was not in the itinerary. The tour start at 10:00am, end at 4:00pm, (tour should be 4 hours).David already tired his best to make the trip better. However due to the public holiday, we hope to get your understanding. Thank you again for your valuable review. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your China trip!
