Best city tour you can imagine! Felt very safe with the amazing tourguides! There was more than one storyteller per participant and hearing QwiQwis and Typhoons story was heartbreaking, fascinating and so important! Definitely saw Nairobi through other eyes and definitely recommend this tour to everyone! It was not too sad as the storytellers all have a great sense of humour and it's great to see how they could turn their world around from children taking drugs to such respectful, nice young men!

Interesting side of Nairobi

Interesting experience, if you want to see Nairobi from another perspective. You see parts of the city, where you probably wouldn't go to, when you would be walking alone. We felt save with them.

The best experience in Nairobi without any doubt. We could visit the real Nairobi with fantastic people. The guides was always caring for us and show us a lot of places that are out of the touristic routs.

Unique, eye-opening tour of Nairobi
Sep 2021
What an excellent, unique experience in Nairobi. The tour definitely exceeded expectations. It weaves a narrative of life growing up in Nairobi's slums over the past couple decades with the sights and sounds in the city's center. As other's have said, the stories can be a little heavy, so probably not the best tour for kinds, but otherwise highly recommended and eye-opening. And, frankly, just a plain great idea for a tour.

Power of travellers’ review
We had a 2 hours walk in the downtown of Nairobi in areas where we would not dare to enter alone. And not only saw this side of the city, but during the walk we learned their respectives stories about their childhood, how they made the change and what is their plans. Quite eye opening for us, how quickly a child life could change and found themselves in the streets.

As covid effected their business we were lucky to have 5 of them with us, five stories.

The guys were very aware that trust they build in years could be destroyed in a minute, during the walk we didnt have a single moment when we havent felt safe, on the other hand we have not taken any valuables with us (no jewelry, no cameras etc)

This tour exceeded our expectations! If you’re a visitor in Nairobi and want to see the city through the eyes of a local- this is the perfect tour. The guys made me and my friends feel extremely safe and comfortable while we learned about them and their city and the way things work. If you’re visiting Nairobi I would highly recommend.

Special insight of Nairobi
Sep 2021 • Couples
For us this tour was the perfect way to start our trip in Kenya. From the moment we met the guys they were very open, very cheerful and we felt completely at ease in every part of the city they took us. It was really impressive to hear the stories about their lives and it is very inspiring to hear them talk about the mission they have to help children who are in the same position they once were. Besides from the heavy stories they told us, there was more than enough space for a good laugh and to practice the necessary Swahili slang words!! We recommend this tour to everyone who wants to get to know Nairobi in the realest way possible.

Honest and revealing tour for a good cause
Come to do this tour to hear true and hopefull stories from guys who grew up on the street but were able to change their life.
The company has a lot of initiatives for the kids who grow up in downtown. They are so motivated to prevent the kids from the life they’ve lived.
There were no subject forbidden or questions that you cannot ask, it was a very open and relaxt interaction.
Tip for the ladies: I felt a little uncomfortable wearing a dress.. my mistake. But for the next ladies among us: wear something more covering.
