I booked a ride and our driver Tayseer was punctual, curteous, and extremely knowledgeable about the history of historical sites from Amman, Petra, Dead Sea, and much more. We had the most cultural experience that exceeded my expectations. Will continue to visit Jordan and will ensure I request Tayseer for future tours. Highly recommend.

I had the most wonderful day trip to Petra with Mohammad Najjar as my driver and guide. As a solo female on this trip I was definitely nervous to go by myself, but Mohammad mad me feel so safe and having him in the site was a huge advantage. He knows all the Bedouin’s and I got to speak to a lot of them in a way that I certainly would not if he had not been there. He went above and beyond to make my trip special, and even hiked up to the monastery with me:) 10/10 recommend requesting his tour.

Had an excellent time on this tour - highly recommend. My driver was Mohamed Masoud and he arrived early, had a great car and was a safe/efficient driver. Tour guide at Petra had been giving tours for over a decade and knew all of the spots, the preferred vendors, best places to eat and was able to recommend the best placed to look.
A tip for those living an international life - I'm an English speaker that recently moved to France. Because of my address, I showed up as requesting a French speaking guide automatically. The company has excellent communication and we rectified this when we were discussing the trip after online booking, but you should make sure to specify your tour language!

Petra is an amazing place, when you are there you
Feel part of history! Our driver, Mr Moawiah, he gave us a great tour and took us to the best places to eat and shop. He was very punctual, and we added extra trips based on his suggestions. He’s a true gentleman and we felt very secure with him. He felt like a friend to us. Thank you Moawiah!!

We had an incredible day exploring Petra & the desert of Wadi Rum with our driver Tayseer, and our two guides Basil and Yahya.
Everyone was kind, accommodating and generous sharing stories and knowledge of their home. Tayseer was a fantastic driver and he went above and beyond to make sure we got to enjoy the day to the fullest.
Can't recommend this enough.

My day tour was Perfect in every way, my driver Saber was the best! He was friendly, professional and cared about my comfort and safety. I enjoyed my time with him so much that I booked another tour requesting him to accommodate me. Basil , my guide in Petra was knowledgeable and the best photographer ever. He knew so much history and was proud to share this. I am a solo female traveler and both gentlemen made me feel welcomed and safe. I was totally catered to all day.

ayseer, our driver, was a little hard to understand but did a fine job! He explained the things that we saw along the road from Amman to Petra. He knew the best places to stop for a stretch, refreshments, lunch, bathroom and casual shopping.
Our guide in Petra was Ali - with 26 years of experience. Everyone we met along the walk into Petra and in the canyon knew him. His English was excellent and he pointed out and explained items from the history of the site that we would not have seen without him as our guide! In addition to The Treasury building he showed us other sites down the canyon that are not on the normal tourist advertisements.
There are young “entrepreneurs” in the canyon. They will give you the opportunity to ride a donkey, mule or camel on the bottom. Ali explained to never say “maybe”, as they will take that as a Yes!
Ali, our guide, left us at the end of the canyon and we were free to walk around the site and walk out at our own pace. We opted to hire two camels for $18JD each to take us out of the canyon via a paved way that passed additional ruin sites.
I highly recommend this company. Specify that you want Ali as your guide!

Had a fantastic time with our driver and tour guide Freddy. He picked us up directly from our hotel lobby and was right on time. Drive was relaxing and the car was well air conditioned, clean, and comfortable. The drive took about 2 hours and we stopped midway for a bathroom and shopping break. Freddy is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the history of Petra and we appreciated that everything was done at our own pace. Once you get there you will get bombarded with numerous offers to buy souvenirs and extra services like riding a horse, riding a camel, or climbing to the top of a cliff for cool photos. With Freddy there we did not feel any pressure to purchase anything, but if we did want to, he was able to negotiate a reasonable price for us. This really added to our overall comfort and experience.
Everyone in town knows Freddy and you will see that throughout the tour he will often tip the various workers with his own money. Just shows how outstanding and caring of a person he is. Book with Freddy and I promise you, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making the most out of our time in Jordan!

This trip was a great experience from start to finish
My was Tayseer who met me at my hotel at 6am before we made the journey to Petra. On the way we stopped at a government run gift shop which sold Dead Sea products as well as refreshments.
As we were approaching Petra Tayseer gave me his phone number so I could contact him when it was time to return to Amman but my phone was not getting any signal, not even from the Wi-Fi which was available in the car so Tayseer very kindly lent me a mobile phone on a Jordanian network so I could contact him.
On the way back we took a different route and driving along the Israeli and Palestinian borders. About half way into the journey my friend Tayseer stopped off at a local store and bought me bread and cola. I thought this was very kind of him.
We then stopped of beneath the statue of sodom and gamora on the coast of the Dead Sea where he told me some facts about both the sodom and gamora statue and the Dead Sea as well as taking a couple of excellent pictures.
We stopped of again at a store selling souvenirs and Dead Sea products before completing the tour.

Booked this company having read some great reviews and very pleased that I chose them. The customer service team helped organise my tour and answer all my questions in advance. The whole day was seamless - very comfortable car and a fantastic driver Tayseer who was both very friendly and knowledgable. He went out of his way to make sure my day to Petra was special.
Also had an excellent private tour guide too (Anas) who helped navigate, take some great photos and full of interesting facts and knowledge of the site. I had scheduled the tour so that I had a couple of hours to myself to do the hike to Monastery and some time exploring Petra on my own before meeting Tayseer for the drive back to Amman.
Petra has been on my bucket list and thanks to Petra Nights Tours - if exceeded all expectations. So much so that I've now just booked another day trip for later this week to see some of the more local sites to Amman including Jerash and Aljun.
Also had an excellent private tour guide too (Anas) who helped navigate, take some great photos and full of interesting facts and knowledge of the site. I was picked up at a hotel in Amman. But perhaps they can lick you up at the Dead Sea. Contact the local operator by text or call and ask. They're wonderful people and very accommodating! I had a great day with the driver and guide.
