- Trail614927049440 contributionsMust see for those who love JesusA place thats close to my heart, within moments of arriving at the Shepard's field I was engulfed with love and joy. It is an unforgettable experience. Everyone should do it. It's actually very safe, and quiet. Almost no visitors...Written 13 September 2024

- robertkH8754WK0 contributionsWonderful tour with fantastic guide!!The tour was amazing and really made our trip a fantastic experience. Our tour guide Elia made this tour an even greater experience and made us laugh a lot. His knowledge about all the sites that we saw really helped us understand the history and the religious importance of all the holy and historical places. I would highly recommed this tour company. This tour was perfect!!Written 17 October 2023
- Jesus R0 contributionsBest half day tour to Bethlehem!Best half day tour focusing specifically on Bethlehem. We visited all the most important landmarks and had the opportunity to go down into the birth grotto 🙏🏼 Johnny is the best tour guide!Written 5 October 2023
- J-in-Naperville0 contributionsVery happy experience.Very good experience. Air conditioning worked well. Driver drove the bus/van carefully. We had a whole day tour and had two tour guides. One for Bethlehem and another for Jericho. Both were professional and very knowledgeable. They gave us good info on each site. They did not press us for buying anything. We tried to give them a tip, but they disappeared. Very happy with this tour.Written 4 October 2023
- priyalpg0 contributionsGreat guidesThe guide was great both of them. We split after lunch, one group for Jericho etc and the other tour was smaller and the guide was great on that one as well. Totally worth it.Written 2 October 2023
- Jessica S0 contributionsHighly recommend! Elias’ humour is unrealWe booked on to do the half day Bethlehem tour from Tel Aviv with a drop off in Jerusalem. We were picked up on time from our pick up location and taken to Jerusalem where we then joined a larger group on a coach. Elias delivered our tour and it was incredibly insightful and pack full of fascinating information! Not only this, but Elias was absolutely hilarious and without him, the tour would not have been the same! Thought the tour, Elias stopped and treated us to falafel and Arabic coffee, both of which were delicious! Elias, you’re incredible at what you do and are an incredibly friendly and funny guy. Thank you for such a fantastic and informative tour, we will definitely be recommending to friends and family!Written 30 September 2023
- Ignacio M0 contributionsVery interesting and pleasant. An excellent tour in 2 parts, very good the 2 guides George and Elías who know very well the places we visited and let us thoroughly enjoy Jericho and Bethlehem.Written 29 September 2023
- Christian M0 contributionsThe BEST!!!I would say that the places we visited, explanations given to us by Orion our tour guide were exceptional. The knowledge of Orion was indescribable, he knew everything, a great learning experience for my wife and me. Truly recommend hire Bein Harim, they certainly will give you what you are paying and more. Comfortable bus, clean, fresh with an excellent driver, Eyad! Would certainly book with them again, no cons, only pros! Congrats guys!Written 29 September 2023
- sararK3273RT0 contributionsGood & beautiful in Bethlehem, but could be better with guide in JerichoThe visit to Bethlehem was very beautiful, to see the cradle of Jesus Christ and to see the place where he was born, especially with an amazing tour guide, who explained to us the history of Bethlehem, and answered all our inquiries, even we were a large group of tourists, All the places I saw, including the Milk Grotto and the old city of Bethlehem and shepherds field . When we finished Bethlehem and headed to Jericho, even though I knew that the trip would be without a guide, I was disappointed Because I relied on previous reviews that were excellent, however( I preferred to book a trip with a guide). We had George’s companion with us, but his information was minimal, and we relied on some guidance from sites such as the Old City In Jericho To remember the story of Joshua from the Bible, and Hisham’s Palace. I advise everyone to book and visit this tour , but it is better to be with a guide in Jericho so that you will not be disappointed. Thanks.Written 14 September 2023
- filipiana0 contributionsBest tour and travel guides in JerusalemA definite must do when yoi are looking for a day trip outside Jerusalem. Customer service is perfect. The trip very organized. Elias, our Bethlehem guide is the best by far; never a dull moment when you have him as your guide. Jorge, our Jericho guide, though not as fluent in English as Elias, is funny as well. And Rame, our very effecient driver is very helpful and informative as well. On areas where we dont have guides, he tries to point out places which are relevant for everyone in the group to see. Elijah tour has the best team ever!Written 13 September 2023

- Dushy730 contributionsWell organised tour - not to be missedThe whole process of being collected from Tel Aviv, taken via Jerusalem to Bethlehem seemed seemless. Our tour guide Elijah was just full of information and details about history but also current life in Bethlehem. Definitely recommended.Written 13 September 2023

Tour was great, Boaz and the rest of the guys were all so friendly and very enthusiastic. 😁 learned so much about the history and status of Israel and Palestine. Everywhere we went they let us try local food which was a great complement to the tour.
There was a slight problem with Asian countries (and maybe others now also) because of COVID-19, some tourist places enforced a ban. Not sure how it will be now and in future.
There was also some confusion with other members of the group regarding the afternoon itinerary. Seemed like we all had different itineraries and it wasn’t clear when each group would go. Anyway everything turned out ok. Maybe better coordination next time. The driver (sorry I can’t remember his name now) made up for it by taking all of our pictures with the mud 👍🏼
Dead Sea turned out to be very organized and there were good toilet/bathroom facilities, which was my main concern. There weren’t too many people that time also, which made everything manageable. Had fun trying out floating and putting all that mud, which was apparently a must.

This was a highlight on the Israel leg of our trip. The tour was very well organized and everything went smoothly from pick up to drop off. We were fortunate our guide was “the third most prominent person born in Bethlehem”, the smart and funny Elias. He made sure the group was intact the entire time and kept up well informed and entertained throughout. It was enlightening hearing him speak. We managed to visit all the sites in the itinerary including the spot were Jesus was born (Pro tip: if Elias asks the group a question, the answer is “Jesus” 99% of the time) Elias made sure we were on the right bus with our ongoing tour to the dead sea. Our driver (I didn’t catch his name) was efficient, safe and friendly and was helped by guide George. Would definitely recommend going on this day trip from Jerusalem!

I don’t hesitate one bit to recommend this tour. I was looking for a convenient and affordable way to get to the Dead Sea but none of the tours or transportation options were sitting right with me. I’m so glad I found Elijah Tours. It would have been worth it just for the transportation alone, so for this price it is incredible that you get a full day tour including the sites in and around Bethlehem. Our guides Elias and Jonny were so kind, knowledgeable and organized. I also personally appreciated their perspective living as Palestinian Christians—it was a very meaningful way to connect with the spaces we were visiting and in no way did I ever feel like there was any hidden agenda. They were simply genuine people who made me feel welcome and respectful of the rich yet complex history and present day events. We had more than enough time at the Dead Sea and they took us to a beautiful, comfortable and convenient beach on the north side (Neve Midbar). If you’re looking for a tour company, don’t delay and choose Elijah!

The tour started by driving us in to Palestine and to the first half of the day tour in Bethlehem. It was truly amazing to be able to visit such a historic place! Elijah, our guide, provided us with both modern and ancient history of the city, and took us around to the main sites. We barely had any waiting time at any of the spots (except for the Church of Nativity, to be expected). Our last stop in Bethlehem had food already prepared for us, and it was really value for you money!
After a half day of walking around the historic sites of Bethlehem, we were driven to the Dead Sea for some floating and mud bathing! My skin has never been softer.

The Dead Sea is an endorheic lake located in the Jordan Rift Valley, a geographic feature formed by the Dead Sea Transform (DST). This left lateral-moving transform fault lies along the tectonic plate boundary between the African Plate and the Arabian Plate. It runs between the East Anatolian Fault zone in Turkey and the northern end of the Red Sea Rift offshore of the southern tip of Sinai. It is here that the Upper Jordan River/Sea of Galilee/Lower Jordan River water system comes to an end.

My friend and I went on the Bethlehem and Dead Sea tour a couple of days ago and are still completely blown away by the whole experience. The tour was perfectly organised, the guides were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and we felt safe at all times. We learned so much about the places we visited and are keen to come back at some point in the not too distant future. I can highly recommend Elijah and his team. Thanks for everything!

Best part was Bethlehem. Guide was very informative and interesting to listen. We really enjoyed it. I would truly recommend this tour.
Note for churches that you have to cover knees and shoulders, both men and women.
Dead sea is ok to see, and to experience floating.

Fantastic experience. I highly recommend it. The tour guide in Bethlehem was excellent. He gave us a good perspective on the city and its history. The driver to the Dead Sea was also wonderful. He was very knowledgable about the region, accommodating and took us on extra stops. They both could not have been nicer.

Had a great time with my older parents even when I had to translate all the information for them. The guide was knowledgeable and nice. The tour is very well organized and we learned a lot about Bethlehem, we even saw the original Banksy, and then we finished the day at the Dead Sea.

This tour requires good weather. What is considered bad weather. Would this tour be cancelled due to rain?
Written 21 February 2020
No, it wouldn't be cancelled. We found even some snow and the tour wasn't cancelled. If you're heading to the dead sea and the weather is bad, then you can always ask to visit the Jericho, which is quite an interesting place.

Is this a Christian tour?
Written 13 February 2020
Not really. Of course you visit Christian sites and they explain you the story but in an objective way.

Hi we are a group of three people. We would like to do the tour on 4th of November. Instead of returning to tel aviv, is it possible to leave us in Jerusalem as we are going to overnight there. Also we have three small trolley with us. is it possible to leave them in the car or bus while we are visiting the places?
Written 2 November 2019
Hi, what is the departure time and is it from the David Citadel hotel or do you pick up?
Written 30 September 2019
They usually pick you up from the Citadel Hotel, outside of it. They are very punctual.

I also want to know if i can see the separation wall on this tour and just want to know - how long can we stay at the dead see?
Written 9 September 2019
Do you also go to the separation Wall and the banksy Graffitis in Bethlehem? Is it possible to do individual wishes ?
Written 5 September 2019
There is but not that often as English tour.
You have to look for language option which may end up that you have to take a date according to availability not according to your travel plan.
Bethlehem is guided tour.
Dead Sea in the afternoon is your own experience. Driver will drop you and pick up
