Could be a better tour with better time management

The tour could be good if it didn’t take 2 more hours for us to stay in the shopping area. And the transaction on the way also took a lot time for waiting. We are wait the tour from 7am, and get to Bethlehem at 11am.

Great Tour
Dan was a very genuine tour guide. He was well organized and enthusiastic about being a guide. He shared great facts throughout the day and made sure that whenever stating an opinion, he used a disclaimer to let us know just that. He was very flexible to take our requests to stop & shop wherever we wanted. This was nice because we were a small group of 8 people. One note is that I thought we would stop at Garden of Gethsemane but we did not.

We crossed into.Bethlehem which is under Palestinian Authority, so Martin took us on the tour after we crossed the border. Dan did eat lunch with us while there and seemed so friendly with all the people and restaurant staff there. He is well liked for sure. It felt like eating lunch with a friend as we talked food, travel, culture and the like. I will say that Bethlehem did not have the pristine streets, homes and cars as Israel. It looked run down and shabby. Even the vehicle that picked us up was a bit tattered and the seats were dirty. The driver was nice but a cleaner vehicle should have been used to transport us.

The Church of the Nativity was beautiful and standing where Jesus was born brought me to tears, as it did at the Holy Sepulchre knowing this is where He was crucified. Simply Amazing tour.
