This is one of the few tours to have permits to go right up to the cruise ships.
Found this company online wasnt sure what to expect as price is a third of the others tours advertised and excursions from ship.
Nice comfortable mini bus with air conditioning, liked the fact only small group 16 I think as far easier to keep altogether and visit everything quicker.
Our guide was a Rabbi he was amazing the amount of information he told us dont know how he remembered it all.
You are taken to a Palestinian shop to buy souvenirs as the rest of the tour cannot be stopped for shopping.
The tour takes about 8 hours I suggest you take a snack and water with you as we didnt stop for lunch for 5 hours. You stop at a cafe they offer falafel etc but got pizza and fries if you ask make sure you have cash they dont accept cards, cost €15.
I would totally recommend this tour well worth the money.

I decided to use this tour company for the Jerusalem and Bethlehem excursion when the excursion that I had booked with the cruise ship was cancelled. It was an excellent decision especially since the cost of the tour was much cheaper than the cruise ship price. Leo kept constant communication from the time of booking and kept us informed of time changes for the start of the tour because of Covid restrictions imposed by Israel. Our guide Gil was waiting as we exited the ship with a sign showing our names. Gil was an excellent guide and was so knowledgeable. Because of our later start ( 1pm instead of 8am ) the itinerary was changed and we visited Bethlehem first. The overall tour was excellent and we got to visit all of the sites despite our late start. The only negative about the tour was the fact that we were only allowed a very short time for shopping. I would have preferred a longer time since this was my first visit to the Holy Land and I would have liked to browse for souvenirs and religious objects. I would highly recommend this tour.

The Ashdod Shore excursion was done by us in addition to the Haifa excursion the previous day and the Masada and Dead Sea excursion on the following day. Yonathan (who was our guide the previous day) again outdid himself by showing us the complexities and history of the Holy Land. We then drove to Bethlehem where our Palestinian guide Mohammad explained the Church of the Nativity to us, The next day we went to Masada and the Dead Sea with the same group but with a different guide called Ryan. He was equally good at sharing with us the details of Masada and we got to bathe in the Dead Sea, An amazing experience.

The tour guide was terrible! He would start taking before the whole group got to him, so that we could not hear him. When we told him to slow down and wait until the whole group got there, he just ignored our requests. Told us no shopping, no pictures, just raced though the streets of Jerusalem. It was very crowded and hard to keep up with the guide. He should have taken that into account. Should have adjusted the tour and deleted a site or two, so we could enjoy the other sites. As an example, at the Wailing Wall we only had 10 minutes. The bus driver was on his phone arguing with someone and the guides. His driving was terrible and dangerous.

Hi - sorry to read you had a disappointing tour. We have a Satisfaction Guarantee policy - so if you toured with us (we can't tell from the photo) and you contacted us directly then we would give you your money back. Unfortunately, you did not mention the name of the guide or the date of your visit so we cannot investigate this further. It is true that the sites in Israel are very busy during the peak season. It is also true that we expect out guests to be able to keep up with the pace of the tour in our GROUP tours. If you have mobility issues then we strongly recommend booking a private tour only. Thank you.

I am a retired United Methodist Minister who has visited and toured Israel 4 times previously to this Holy Land Ship cruise. We were promised 3 days of experienced tour guides, what we got were nice gentlemen that seemed they had never been to the sites we visited. I had to explain to our bus where we were and the significance of the sites. They tried to read the names of the sites off a piece of paper and most of the time mispronounced the name of where we were.

The time management was horrific, causing us to go entire days without stopping for lunch until just before the tour was over. I have traveled all over the world and this was the first time I've ever had a bus driver stop in the middle of a tour to get gas, wasting almost 45 minutes of our tour time. If that wasn't bad enough the driver would go off when we stopped at a site to get snacks while we all had to wait for his return. He would drive constantly talking or yelling on the phone or with food in this hand. Sitting right behind the driver and seeing how he drove honestly made me very nervous.

In concluding I must say I felt very sad for the folks on our tour bus who had never been to the Holy Land because of how they were "short changed" by what they didn't see or the shortness of tine they had at sites because of the lack of time management and bus driver malfeasance. No, I would NOT recommend this tour company.

Again – the same group of 72 misled clients. They booked with Bill Netro Tours. He organizes shore excursions for cruisers and makes a fortune on these people. They DID NOT BOOK WITH US DIRECTLY. Only the agent booked with us – 1 person. We probably received one fifth of what his group paid him. He apparently promised them things we never agreed to, for example that we will use whisperers. We never agreed to it. For the price he paid us they received above and beyond what is reasonable. For the price they paid him – they must have had different expectations and we are sorry for their disappointment. We have a money back guarantee if you book with us directly and you will know in advance exactly what will be included in the tours. We are no longer taking large group bookings through a non-licensed agent. You should avoid this arrangement as well and book directly with the tour company so you know exactly what you will receive. Thank you for reading this response.

We booked a tour with Guided Tours Israel directly, the communication was very smooth with Leo. He gave us very detailed instructions on where and how to meet at the port etc. However, our ship came up with two excursion openings two days before the tour start, because our ship docks late resulted a very tight schedule, to make sure we can come back on time, we wanted to go with the cruise ship. I felt very bad for not going with Guided Tours Israel. But when I contacted Leo, he confirmed our cancellation immediately and did not give us any hard time at all. We are very impressed by his honesty and kindness, we will definitely go with his company when we go back to visit Israel again and highly recommend Guided Tours Israel to everyone. Thank you Leo for your understanding! I feel we now have a friend in Israel! Best regards! (HL)

We had 2 full days of touring Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Galilee. We had a small group of 13-15 people on the tour vs the bus load of people from the cruise excursions tours. It is a must do. We had Mickey for Jerusalem and Bethlehem and Sandy for Galilee. Both were awesome tour guides. Their personal knowledge of the history and high points throughout the tours were outstanding and remarkable. Both had great energy and were fun to hear and watch. Their personalities with their colleagues and locals were incredible. The tours touched us in so many ways - Lots of great information and knowledge that were shared. Your tours are clear winners!

Wonderful once in a lifetime experience. Guides gave too much information on biblical quotations. Did not enjoy visit to Christian Israeli shop as wooden manger purchased for $350 was to have the artist’s stamp on the bottom for authenticity. Found out later it had no stamp. Two bracelets purchased fell apart before arriving back at the ship.

Please read before you book with us. We clearly and specifically say NOT to buy anything in any shop - everything is available online and there is so much to see in Israel that it would be a waste of your time. Thank you for reading our information thoroughly before you arrive. GuidedToursIsrael

This was our third visit to Jerusalem and on each trip we learn more. Our guide was Omri who has deep knowledge of the history, religions, and cultures of the area. He expertly guided us through all of the significant sites with background information and insights on contemporary issues. The best way to navigate the small crowded streets is on a private tour, and we have no hesitation in recommending Guided Tours and Omri. Another advantage to booking a private tour is being able to tailor the pace and the sights to your preferences. We specifically requested not going to Bethlehem. Having visited previously we did not want to endure the gift shop hassles. We later learned that some passengers missed other sites because of the delays experienced there.

This was day two of our 3 day shore excursions . Visit to both cities was very well planned and we managed to see all the sites and beat the crowds, despite the holidays. Guide - Sandy Kuttler was exceptional (as was George in Bethlehem ) and filled in all the historical details in a fun and easy to follow manner. Extremely good tour and very well presented. Communications were excellent right from the day we booked. Passenger van was very clean with enough room to accommodate 16, safely and comfortably .
Day one was Galilee ,,, Day 3 was Masada / Dead Sea . Both were excellently guided by Sandy as well .
