Awesome!
Jul 2021
Mehmet was such a great tour guide! I loved his energy and enthusiasm! I also loved that you could ask for more of something, which we did for the soups (but try not to eat too much because there are many, many stops!!) My favorites were breakfast, the melty lamb and oxtail(?) soups, the kebap, and the rice-stuffed peppers! But mostly I enjoyed hearing Mehmet talk about life in Istanbul!

An Amazing Experience
Jul 2021 • Couples
The food tour was fantastic and definitely the highlight of our trip so far. It was a great way to journey around Istanbul and find both the hidden treasure food spots as well as the well-known restaurants to eat at (including a restaurant featured in an episode of Chef’s Table!) Our tour guide, Ayse is so lovely and knowledgeable and we feel lucky to have been shown around this beautiful city with her!She taught us so much about Turkish cuisine and it’s rich history and I have a whole new appreciation for the beautiful Turkish culture. If you’re in Istanbul, the Taste of Two Continents Food Tour is a must!

Excellent culinary tour!
A superb culinary tour! Definitely a MUST DO when in Istanbul. Our guide, Mehmet did a phenomenal job! We met in the morning and we visit many local restaurants, in both the European and Asian side! We ate a lot, and they were all delicious! We went to place where locals go and we experience the culture and the real Turkish dishes and delights. Mehmet was very pleasant, polite, and courteous and we certainly had an excellent time!!!

What an amazing tour and with an amazing tour guide Memet. Memet was full of interesting information about Istanbul and his choice in food stops was superb! We literally ate the whole time and tasted so many amazing dishes. This tour was well worth the money and if I ever go back I will do it again. Thank you!

Tasty and surprising!
We vooked this tour in order to discover some more Turkish food. I was a bitbscared that I would have tried everything already but this tour really was surprising. Except for one food we didn't try anything proposed before in the one month touring Turkey. The tour will take you to both fancy and less fancy places but all all pretty good and authentic. Loved the experience! Also the guide don't just take you to places, he also explains the city and the story behind the food.

This was a fantastic tour - Ibrahim was great at bringing the context and culture of Istanbul to life and I learned a lot about the different parts of the city. The food was all delicious (the rice in mussels being a highlight.) Thanks Ibrahim!

One of the best food & drinks tour ever!
Sep 2020
I couldn't recommend this enough! The guide is the key and Ibrahim was a superstar. Informative, friendly, chatty, super easy going, able to meet any question or ask and made the whole day an absolute joy. And every place and food stop was superb. From start to finish it was a delight and was the highlight of my trip to Istanbul.

Meeting the City Through Taste
Aug 2020 • Couples
What an amazing tour! Definitely would recommend - even with the ongoing COVID situation the tour was not affected - if anything it meant we never had to wait in queues at any of the restaurants/eateries. Amazing local knowledge and friendly atmosphere. I definitely recommend this tour and do it early on after arrival as it makes for a nice introduction to Istanbul.

Like many have said do not eat breakfast before the tour - you will be eating pretty much straight away and it is hard not to get full from the beginning.

If you are thinking about booking this tour, take my word for it and dive in, you won’t regret it.
