Overview
Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ayutthaya on this private tour. Explore the home of the old Siamese kings and temple complexes, and visit Bang Pa-In, where a Buddha statue is almost completely engulfed by a Bodhi tree. Enjoy a slow boat ride around the island with a maximum of eight people on this intimate tour.
What to Expect
Meet your driver at your Bangkok hotel before embarking on a trip to Ayutthaya. Head to Bang Pa-In and explore the Summer Palace and surrounding gardens built in 1632 by Siamese kings. Listen to the guide’s commentary about Thailand’s royal family and traditions from past to present.

Continue on to discover temple ruins, such as Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and the Temple of the Great Relic (Wat Mahathat). Explore the great Ayutthayan architecture and see the famous stone Buddha that is engulfed by a holy Bodhi tree.

After lunch, enjoy a slow boat tour around the island and visit one lesser-known temple, Wat Worachettharam, before heading back to your Bangkok hotel.

Quick yet informational Layover

Whetchayan was a very accommodating host for our day trip in Bangkok. Knowledgeable, very friendly, and clearly knew a ton about the history and culture which he generously shared. Thank you Whetchayan!

Ayutthaya tour

We had a delightful day in Ayutthaya with Piyaporn. She gave us interesting historical tidbits and answered all questions knowledgeably. The restaurant she took us to was also very delicious. I would highly recommend this day tour without hesitation.

Wonderful History.

I visited Ayutthaya for a weekend and was rather impressed with the history of the Siam Dynasty. Some of the sites reminded me of Angkor Wat. It made a weekend for great photography and to enjoyment.
