Visit the Biggest Floating Market of Thailand in a half a day tour.

Take this tour to get a glimpse of everyday life on the water in Thailand. Cruise along the Bangkok canals in a narrow, long-tailed motorized boat towards the Damnoen Saduak floating market, where you will see local vendors in their Thai style canoes, laden with colorful fruits, and vegetables, gently plying their way through the canals looking to sell their goods.
  • Take a hassle-free day trip to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market from Bangkok
  • Travel by efficient long-tailed speed boat to save time
  • Receive information crucial to understanding the exotic products on offer
  • Convenient hotel pickup and drop-off are included with this guided tour
What to Expect
Your day trip begins with pickup from your Bangkok hotel, where you’ll board a vehicle destined for Damnoen Saduak. Upon arrival, you’ll transfer to a long-tailed boat and speed through marshes and past atmospheric stilt houses. En route you’ll receive a comprehensive introduction to the culture and history of the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Cruise past floating stalls selling fresh produce and exotic fruits while your guide explains the origin and use of particularly unique ingredients along the way. For an additional cost, you can purchase souvenirs and opt to take a ride on a local boat. After sufficient exploration of the market, return to your Bangkok hotel via boat and bus, with a stop at a coconut candy farm for a taste.

The whole thing is about 10% actual floating market. Rest is man-made canals with display stalls on either side. So it does not make it a floating market. There is only a small stretch which can be described as "Floating Market". Rest is all shops...More

Agree to the products are overpriced at floating market and the market itself is extremely busy in the peak hour. For the guests who don't like chaos then probably don't enjoy it. But it's worth once visit as you've mentioned, something new to see.

It’s kinda a must visit if you are coming to Bangkok . It’s a different experience but you can get pissed off with many vendors on boats approaching you and forcing you to buy their stuff . Would not do it a second time ....More
