      Great time with sea creatures
Beautiful tour of the beach area. Captain and first mate were knowledgeable. They scouted out spinner dolphins, turtles, and many kinds of fish. Earlier I had seen a whale near the beach but we missed him. You heard many stories about the Waikiki Beach area and Hawaii in general Serious crew and the best time we had on our tour of Hawaii!

      Just meh
The staff was super nice and entertaining, however, the actual experience itself was kind of lackluster and not worth the price.

Glass bottom tour was a great experience
We had a great time. The staff were above average. 😄😄😄 The couple who give the tour were very fun and the sights were amazing. We got to see some dolphins, sea turtles and some lovely fish. Would definitely recommend.

      Very Enjoyable!
We had a great time. We went on the sunset tour. Would have loved to do the Friday fireworks tour but we were leaving town. The staff were knowledgable and made it a great boat ride and tour. It was relaxing and they made it fun even with it raining. We would definitely use them again.

The trip was awesome. I highly recommend it. The guys knew exactly what to look for and where the sea life was at. Saw some turtles and dolphins.

Nice way to spend 1 hour
The captain and his wife were very nice and pleasant. It was a nice 1 hour spent on the water in a boat. Opportunity to take some lovely photos especially with the diamond head backdrop. It is a shoreline tour. We only saw a few fish, but did not see any other sea life. As per the other reviews, there were 4 boxes allowing a view underneath to the sea, but they were not very helpful, so not a true glass bottom tour.

      Relaxing one hour cruise
What can you see in just one hour? This is more of a relaxing cruise with beautiful views of Waikiki buildings and beaches. There is very little to see through the glass bottom. There were 4 viewing areas so you could easily find a spot to view small fish and tiny amounts of brown coral. The captain fed the fish to see them rise to the surface which was really an artificial sighting. However, we did see two turtles in the time spent on the water. We did not see a shipwreck , nor any other marine life. Let’s be realistic- it is an out and back cruise on the beautiful Pacific Ocean with lovely weather. Any wildlife is a bonus. The turtle cove was occupied by many snorkellers and we just passed by the area.- if you are looking for a marine encounter, go snorkelling- if you are looking for a short leisurely cruise, take the class bottom boat. It was enjoyable and picturesque.

Amazing experience! So worth your money
Amazing experience! Was definitely the highlight of our trip. Our captains brought great energy, stopped and pointed at marine life and even let us slow down and enjoy the pod of dolphins around us. Sunset views were incredible!

Very fun and informative. Really good way to get some local knowledge. We even got some tips on where the less crowded beaches are.

      Morning trip to turtle canyon
We had a great trip with the family. Jim was the best captain, so knowlegable on the islands history and tourist attractions. Saw turtles and lots of cool looking fish. We loved it, we did the day trip and the night fireworks cruise. Well worth it.

      Great trip
The trip, the captain and his wife, and the trip are great. Would do it again in a heartbeat. He had great knowledge of the area and gave us awesome suggestions for dinner afterwards. We went to the Highway Inn and it was fantastic as well.

Recommend for family and older folks. Fun & Relaxing.
Boat has restroom, shadded area, and it's a nice tour to sit relax and rest your feet while enjoying a peaceful boat ride. I took my 66 year old mother who needed a break from activities and she loved it. We saw spinning dolphins, fish, and turtles. Guides were nice and informative. They also had cold water available. Recommend this tour.

My family and I had the opportunity to set sail with Justin and Max on 6/23/2021 and we really enjoyed ourselves. They were great at helping us locate the wildlife as well as told a couple of great jokes in addition to snapping a couple of family photos for us. The only downside to this cruise was that it was super short (1 hour) and we had a family that was five minutes late which cut into our overall time at sea. We were pulling in at exactly the time we would have if the family hadn’t been late. We all wished it was a little longer. Great, quick tour!

We enjoyed the boat ride and commentary with great view of Honolulu and Waikiki and Diamond Head. However, the glass bottom area of the boat was small and not much time was spend talking about the sea life. The Skipper did attempt to find Turtles but was unsuccessful in getting close to any. We went in the afternoon but it may have been better to go earlier in the day or more toward sundown.

This little trip was memorable and filled with excitement. From the friendly knowledgeable captain and his first mate who was also funny. To the open water chase of a run away hat, the feeding frenzy of the many silver fish and the submarine that tried to resurface right in front of the boat. We throughly enjoyed the whole experience.

The crew was really good, boat was clean and they tried hard to entertain but the glass bottom of the boat was pretty pointless. We did see a few shoals of small to medium sized fish as well as nice views of the beaches from the ocean. We also saw a couple of turtles at a distance (there were snorkellers and divers there so we couldn't get closer) but I'd rather go snorkeling if I wanted that. All in all it was an okay trip.

Btw we booked for 10.30am and when we got there they said we'd been moved to 10. They had sent us a message asking us if we wanted to change slots but we were traveling and couldn't reply. It was lucky we got there when we did or we would have had to wait a good hour and a half for the next trip. They were not even apologetic about it, the person at the ticket window just shrugged.

Our tour guide Kai was fantastic!! He was so personal and really made you feel like family. He narrated the tour, but it was anything but boring, he was so into educating and sharing a wonderful experience with riders, it definitely felt like ohana. He is also so great with kids and will make the tour something a kiki would love! 100/10 recommend, make it a priority stop!!

It was a bad experience, We paid the most expensive in the afternoon, and nothing to see, the name of the company not it's true, there were many kids in the boat waiting to see fish, corals, etc, that the company Hawaii Glass Bottom offered, but nothing to see, not narrative during the tour, only music and nothing to see, for my kids were very bore and anothers kids never had the chance to see fishes or turtles or something like that.. Time and money wasted. I don't recommended this tour, if you want see fishes or sea animals. look for another company that show sea animals.

The guys operating the boat were really good and despite the weather the guys tried to show us some things and maneuvered the boat well. However we didnt see much and I would hardly call this a glass bottom boat. There were glass bottoms about two feet wide and you had to look like in a freezer like thing to see down to the glass to see anything. It was disappointing.

This is an enjoyable and informative tour with a misleading name. We took the 7 am tour and had a great time cruising with a pod of spinner dolphins. We briefly saw one turtle on the surface. The glass bottom view was minimal to useless the entire tour. In total I saw a blurry sea turtle and 4 fish swim under the boat. So if what you are expecting is a snorkeling type experience this is not for you.

We loved our one hour tour in the glass bottom boat! Captain Jim and his wife Keiko were wonderful hosts. We heard the history of the area and got some restaurant suggestions as well. The length of the boat ride was just right and kept our teen entertained. Keiko threw fish food out of the boat which attracted many different types of fish we could see through the glass bottom wells. Very fun!

Crew was friendly and fantastic. The tour guide shared fun info without going over the top in personality or talkativeness. The music made the experience peaceful and enjoyable. We were only able to enjoy the experience because it was early enough in the morning and a short enough excursion to fit in before our flight left. The time of year made the visibility perfect. Very enjoyable!
