Great views from the top. Hosts were Tristano and Chris (Captain) who were great. We got the picture package which they put on an SD card. - GrandTour602098346190 contributionsBest Ten minutes of her life….Took my “I’m afraid of heights!” crime partner parasailing for her first time in beautiful Waikiki. Everything from check-in, crew, weather, views and boat was excellent. People in other reviews complain mostly about time in the air when really if you think about it as a thrill ride whether a zip line, rollercoaster, banana boat ten minutes is perfect!!! We never felt rushed or unsafe in fact the opposite. We had 4 non-English speakers with us but a big Sh$@ eating grin is Universal!!! Everyone had a blast. Captain ( didn’t get his name damnit) played some great music and gave us some cheap thrills with some deft maneuvers on the way back. And if you go….remember Tipping is not just a city in China!!! Chris and Zach, our captains and hosts, were professional, cheerful and explained all the necessary requirements clearly and helped us each with the gear. - kjenkins3500 contributionsFun experience, but a bit overpriced IMOThe team at Xtreme Parasailing were very friendly and professional and made everyone feel safe and comfortable. We shared our 1 hour time slot (which was really only about 45 minutes) with 5 other couples so we truly only got about 7 minutes of actual time in the air. Due to that I felt the price was a bit high. Also, there is an additional $40 photo package add-on which we ended up purchasing as well, although if you go with another couple or group you could have someone in your party take pictures for you to save on this added cost. Overall, the experience was good, but be aware of what you're getting for the price.Written 24 July 2024

I really enjoyed my time with this company. I actually booked this activity very easily once I arrive in Honolulu. They had many timings and days available for parasailing and other water sports as well. I do recommend booking directly with them, because the hotels do overcharge a bit and there is a significant difference in pricing. We drove to the location provided, parked our car, boarded a boat with about 12 total people, all the instructions were clearly explained to us on board. Overall, we felt safe and comfortable, and really enjoyed our time parasailing. 100% recommend this company for all your water sporting needs!

Do not waste your time. We scheduled a parasail/jet ski combo. We live on island and I was told that we could drive from the harbor to the jet ski location (about 15 minutes drive time with NO traffic). After the parasailing boat showed up 45 minutes late, I guess we were supposed to rush between locations (after being given the option to drive and no one said anything about the necessity of rushing from one location to the next). Kelly called me once at 1425 to tell me the driver was leaving, then at 1449 to tell me the boat has already left. I said we’re still 2 minutes away but it didn’t matter and because I wasn’t there two minutes earlier, I’m forced to either lose my money or pay $10 to reschedule the jet ski to the day we fly out (tomorrow). Your time is not as important as theirs. You will have 24 minutes to get to the other harbor or you’ll lose your money, but no one will tell you that. Horrible customer service. Do NOT waste your time. Do NOT use this company. Take your chances somewhere else.

Parasaling with Xtreme was the most enjoyable activity of our 1 wk trip to Honolulu.. Checkin was as easy as signing a couple forms and waiting for the boat to arrive. Our boat captain i believe was Dan, & his assistant was Dillon. Both were engaging with all customers on the boat which was packed. We were the 2nd couple to go up. Putting on the gear was simple. We chose the 1000 ft which was pretty cool. The ride up in the sky felt like it lasted from 7-10 min, so in reality the ride up in the sky wasn't that long, but I would defintitely recommend it. They charged $40 for pictures which was bought and at the end requested tips, which we also provided. The boat itself appears old, which the crew stated was from a Jurassic movie........... We are both non swimmers, so one safety recommendation I would really encourage the company to make is life vest safety/awareness. Crew should advise us where all vests are for all customers in the event of boat capsizing, similar to cruise rides.

We recently visited Hawaii with our 11-year old. He loves all things roller coasters and thrill seeking so parasailing was something we knew we wanted to do. The experience on the boat was great and he and my husband loved the experience. Our only complaint was that we waited a bit past our scheduled time with no communication about why. They tell you to show up 30 minutes early but then you are essentially waiting around for 45 minutes before it's actually your time. Had I known that we would have shown up a bit closer to actual time.

Was scammed $142.33. When I called to clear everything up with Xtreme Parasail they said they had no record of a charge with my credit card, but on my bank statement clearly showed Xtreme Parasail -$142.33. They said they couldn't do anything since they had no record even though I provided all the required documents to dispute. Horrible customer service from Manager Emma. Would not recommend Xtreme Parasail to anyone unless they are OKAY with being scammed, stollen from, or robbed.

This experience was fantastic! Check in was easy; parking at the harbor wasn’t bad. Our crew was funny but quite efficient. They paid extra attention to my elderly mother who joined us as well as a couple of nervous ladies. They gave us the option of a “dip” in the ocean which we took and was great fun. The experience itself is fantastic. It’s very peaceful 1,000 ft in the air! I highly recommend the extreme package. They offer to take pictures on an SD drive of your flight for $40 cash ($45 if cc) that you can pay upon return to harbor. We found it was worth the cost. Highly recommend this experience and this company!

We booked the combo and were happy that the business was open again. Owner was extremely nice and happy to be back in business. The team is working to figure it all out under new guidelines with proper safety procedures put in place.
Having to secure your own transportation from the to the parasail to the jetski makes it much harder for everyone yet not their fault and they are working to come up with solutions including their own shuttle service, which was a daily pre-covid option. If you rented a car, you will not have a problem. If you are using a car service or ride share and doing the jetskiing just find the boat ramp and wait there (When we arrived there was a group of locals fishing right by the ramp). There is a floating barge where they keep the jet skis and flyboard and they come and get you from the boat ramp and take you out to the barge for jetskiing. My husband, kids and our group enjoyed the time in the water. For parasailing they have a booth right on the harbor with a jetski on too of the roof, you will not miss it.

I liked the 5 min part where I was in the air and I got a nice view. For 2 people it was $245 ish and we were with 10 other people. The appointment was at 12 but they didn’t show up until 12:30pm and we were asked to show up early at 11:30am. 1 hour of waiting time in the sun because the shaded waiting area was small and crowded. There was no trash can for me to throw my water bottle by the waiting station. The most exciting part was when the business next-door cut a fish open threw some leftovers of the fish in the ocean and then a bunch of little fishes eat the dead fish. Canabolism at its finest. I didn’t like the waiting time or the how short my time in the air was I was dipped in the water for 5 seconds. The advertisement said 1 hour but it’s basically 7 minutes in the air and the rest of the time you’re just waiting to go back to the shore while the rest of the group has their turn. I will never be coming back. Lol. And then they have the nerve to not pay their workers enough they just made $1200 in 50 minutes and then the guys working WORK FOR TIPS.

Their customer service is TERRIBLE. We arrived at 8:30 like instructed and was told that all the trips were cancelled due to a broken boat. After further inquiry we discovered that they had 3 boats (one was broken) and were taken 12 people out. Instead of rebooking for the next day or a later time or even finding a compromise, we were met with here is a refund have a nice day. Me and my family had traveled from DC & this was an experience we all looked forward too. The least they could have done is made a phone call making everyone aware of the situation before hand or hade some type of accommodation other that try another company or “we got opens next week”. My family and the others that got turned away were not concerned about a refund we wanted an experience that we were robbed of.

This was one of the best or even the best experience we’ve done since we’ve been in Hawaii. I do not have words to describe the experience but it was just amazing. You get a chance to ride the boat for a while and the view is stunning at all times and it was just beautiful. Once you get to fly, it free you from reality for a short time and it is definitely something to try once in a lifetime. Me and my brother enjoyed it so much and even our mom loved it even tho she was just a spectator. The two guy that were with us (sorry guys i forgot to ask for name lol I’ll attacth pictures) were amazing as well very welcoming and friendly and oh the lady at the front was so kind and made it very simple for us too big five to her as well. Also You get to have the choice to get a taste of the water while flying so I’d definitely recommend; I had a blast that I even put my head into the water to add up the adrenaline. I almost forgot, another thing is their playlist song while on the boat is equal to none. They know what song to choose while you’re enjoying the view of the city in a boat in the middle of the ocean and people flying just behind.. it’s just crazy I loved it and I will do it again with more friends with me next time ! Definitely recommend to anyone. (It is not scary as you may think)

The only requirement I saw was that small children had to double up with someone. My grandsons are 18 snd 16. Because the 16 year old was not an adult he did a dual ride with his brother. The 16 year old is 6'3" his brother is 6'. The parachute had them each buckled up side by side in what looked like harnessed swings. They had an absolute blast.

Hello there, my wife and I rode the 700ft parasailing on Saturday 8/7/21 at 12pm and we purchased the photo package and paid Dylan Cotton $43. We were given a Sandisk adapter but not a memory card. Is there anyway to retrieve our pictures that we paid for?
