Highlights
  • See the Garden Isle from the air on a Kauai helicopter tour
  • Get amazing aerial views of the Waimea Canyon and Na Pali Coast
  • Drop into the dormant crater of Mt. Waialeale
  • Eco-Star aircraft reduces overhead noise pollution
What to Expect
Meet your pilot at the Lihue heliport and board a new American Eurocopter Eco-Star, designed to reduce noise pollution and provide prime sightseeing through expanded viewing glass. Ride in comfort in business class-style seats and communicate with your pilot via a two-way headset. The flight begins over the Hanapepe Valley, next swooping above Mana Waiapuna falls, featured in Jurassic Park. See the red ravines of Olokele and Waimea Canyons, the towering spires of the Na Pali Coast, the curve of Hanalei Bay, and the resorts of Princeville. Weather permitting, the grand finale is a dip into the spectacular Mt. Waialeale crater, which gets more rainfall than any place on the planet. You’ll take in stunning views of the jagged crater walls and tropical waterfalls dropping 3,000 feet (915 meters) into the center. Your tour ends back at the helipad.

Since I've never been on a helicopter before I was quite nervous, but our pilot Kris put everybody at ease. This was mine and my husband's favourite excursion in Hawaii, and we even got to sit up front with Kris the pilot. He did an excellent job not only with keeping us

We chose Blue Hawaiian because we could both sit in the front, for an extra fee. Pilot Craig was affable, describing the route, the scenery, and some history as we flew. Some of his facts were questionable, but he was entertaining and a skilled pilot. It was nice that we did

We were a group of four adults and booked this excursion on our own. I had researched several companies and honestly I don't know why we chose this one. Booking was easily done over the phone. A credit card secured the trip but wasn't charged to us until we arrived. They

We had planned to do our tour on Monday, but rain was forecasted. Tour company called us to see if we could change to Sunday. Well, of course we can! And we are so glad. It was an awesome flight with one other couple. We had the best pilot, Shay, to tell us all about what we
