Overview

See Washington DC lit up at night on this guided bus tour. You’ll drive by and stop at some of the city’s top memorials and attractions, including the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Marine Corps War Memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial, which are usually less crowded after dark. With transportation and navigation taken care of, all you have to do is sit back, relax, and sightsee.

What to Expect

Your Washington DC tour starts when you meet at the US Navy Memorial at least 15 minutes before your departure time. After you’ve checked in with your guide, hop aboard a comfortable coach bus for your guided tour.

As you tour DC at night, you’ll pass by landmarks in the US capital and take in sights of monuments and buildings brilliantly lit up. Some of the main attractions visited during this tour include the Jefferson Memorial, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and Tidal Basin.

Your bus stops at some of the attractions where your guide leads the way and tells you about the history associated with each. These usually popular points of interest tend to be less busy at night, allowing you time and space to contemplate in peace.

This tour ends with a drop-off at the departure point.

Our tour guide was Dominique, a charming and competent history major who gave us all kinds of arcane information about cemeteries, sections of the city, monuments, and best vantage points for great photos. She also made sure we got on and off in a timely...More

Great Tour (Especially if limited on time)

I landed late afternoon and hopped on this night tour. I was glad I did, because our guide was funny and informative. We covered nearly all of the monuments and had plenty of time at each. The up-lighting on the monuments shows off the architecture...More

Great night tour!

This was a good choice of tour and for the 3 hours, the tour guide was simply a walking encyclopaedia of information of Washington DC. Bottles of water provided for you, restroom stop and of course time for photos. Worth the cost of the tour.

Our tour meet at and left from the "US Navy Memorial Plaza" and there is a metro stop that exits directly on this plaza so we used the metro to get to the tour. And as far as going home, we used Lyft/Uber as we were staying... More
