About the operator
- annacordaro8700Great excursion !Great experience! Paul was a great tour guide. We learned a lot about Estonian history and culture . We ate wonderful food. Great excursion.
- Ryan F00Must do for Tallin! We had a really great time! There was a good amount of variety (7 different stops) which gave us a lot of things to try. The best part was we were given a lot of history on the city as we walked from place to place. I would recommend to anyone!
- R8871MRchristinec00Beautiful Tour From Cruise Ship TerminalAmazing food. So convenient from where our Holland America ship docked. Paul was a phenomenal tour guide. Hands down worth the excursion.
- chrise47100Great experience!Amazing tour! Best way to see the city and experience the local culture. We joined from a cruise ship so our time was limited in the city. Our guide, Paul, was very knowledgeable and ensured we got the most out of our experience. Plenty of food, have a light breakfast! Highly recommended!
- wk74800A special experience, beautiful landscapePaul showed us a very beautiful side of Estonia. The landscape is impressive and diverse. The bog, the forest, the waterfall, the sea, the beautiful houses. It was a great experience and we had a lot of fun. We definitely have to come to Estonia again. Paul made an unforgettable day possible. Thank you very much.
- lizcM4686GF00Great fun and value !Such a great half day activity ! I took this tour by myself and the guide and other guests were all very friendly. The walking and eating were perfectly balanced and I really enjoyed the history and sightseeing in between stops. The food was all very tasty and all things I hadn’t yet discovered on my own! I highly recommend. Also, the price was super reasonable for how much food you get !
- UUCHRobin00Scenery Spectacular; The Guide Not So MuchOur tour was to Lahemaa National Park in a van with 4 other participants. We booked through Get Your Guide so I'm not sure why this company was chosen as our provider since there was really not food involved, except a lunch with had no options and not impressive. The scenery is fantastic but our guide was not. He made no effort at all in helping people get comfortable with each other, did not speak loud enough that we could hear his narration in the van, did not welcome questions, and put in time filler at a manor but without enough time to even read the placards and arrive back inn Tallinn almost half an hour early. He guided us well through the park. We appreciated that a lot.
- Bruce B00A great tourA really great walking tour of Tallinn centered around food. Show up hungry because you are going to be fed a lot of really good food. Our guide did a great job of tying in the culture with the tour. All in all a great way to see And experience Tallinn.
- keithmV725RK00Excellent and good valueWe went in mid winter. Lots of snow. The waterfall was mostly frozen and very spectacular The Peat bog was covered with snow but still a beautiful walk. Ice in the sea and snow right down to the water. The food in a local pub and then in a manor house was excellent and a real taste of Estonia. The guide was very friendly and full of information.
- suushiaddict00Great Walk & Food TastingFelt a little rushed but I thoroughly enjoyed the day and the different stops we made. I rarely do food tours because I am familiar with many different foods from around the world but this area was different. I can definitely say it was well worth it! The first stop with soup and a mushroom pastry was honestly amazing. We even stopped at a historic pharmacy.
- 349kelleyc00GreatPaul was an excellent guide. Lots of history as well as food. The foods we were served were traditional and delicious.
- Passport81872000Custom food and history tourI got a customized food and history tour that was not only informative and delicious, but also fun! It was just me (hired for private tour) so it was tailored specifically for my preferences. It was a great introduction to Tallinn!
- dianakB3441JA00Pure nature outside of Tallinn, with unforgettable views, very tasty food and an outstanding performa of Paul as a guide" Romantic North Coast" of 6 hours: it was a trip which included the visit to Lahemaa National Reservoir with a multitude of bogs, the visit to the small fishermen village, with picknick prepared and selected by Paul with so many details and love and very tasty products (all included in the price!). We also visited the biggest manor in that area, Vihula. Me and my friend from Spain/Cuba we were looking to a special trip to this area and we had luck to get a private tour by Paul (it was during the week). I would highly recommend it who wants to get an authentical visit outside of Tallinn!
- TravelingFools199500Booze and Bites TourThis wonderful 4 hour tour was a great way to visit some”Local” bars and try their drinks and Estonian food bites. Paul who conducted our tour was fun, professional and made this tour very enjoyable. We visited 7 Local Bars and had a blast. We would recommend this tour as a great way to see the Local sights.
- art0066100Excellent Food of Estonia Foot TourPaul (the guide) painstakingly took us to 8 food stops that represented Tallinn from medieval to modern times. He also shared a lot on the history of Tallinn and how Estonian fpod is influenced by German and Russian cuisine. We had 3 stops at Old Town's signature cafe. It was a trip to remember. Paul was a friendly, patient and professional guide :) Thumbs-up 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

A very delicious and toothsome way to spend a few hours in Tallinn!
Paul was an exceptional guide, a combination of history of Estonia and Tallinn, alongside substantial food and drink experiences, with flexibility to choose the final destination of the tour based on the group’s energy and tastes.
Bring your walking shoes: We highly, highly recommend this tour, especially at the start of your time in town. It’s a perfect orientation to the food and culture of the city! 😋

Have been on several food tours all over the world, but Paul's food tour is class apart. Not just food tastings, but we got to eat lots of local traditional dishes & Paul's insightful information about Estonian history & food culture was simply commendable. A fantabulous tour, highly recommended & not to be missed if you are visiting Tallinn. Simply Brilliant!!

We have done several food tours in other cities and this was our least favorite. Wife had sent an email stating me and my daughter only ate chicken and beef and should we go. Response was there was a dish with lamb and elk. We didn’t realize those were all the dishes. Food tour consisted of lamb dumplings (daughter and i did not eat), two pieces of chocolate, another restaurant with wild game broth and meat pie (me and daughter did not eat)a small piece of marzipan, kefir drink and then a choice of beer or wine or ice cream. I left when I realized there was nothing more substantial to eat as I was very hungry. Me and my daughter ending up paying $125/each for a drink and couple pieces of chocolate. Wife probably should have been much more detailed in my questions but thought they could have responded that there was no courses that would contain beef or chicken. First food tour where everyone left very hungry and unsatisfied. If you like wild game, you will probably be fine.

Thank you very much for your feedback on a tour.
Our signature Tallinn Food Tour is a combined 2 in 1 city & local food & drink tasting tour with its menu not directly comparable to a full 3-course meal or a feast. Neverthless with 7 stops on this 3-hour tour one should not be left with empty stomach. We always try to substitute the menu for those with special dietary requirements but there are some limitations on what can be provided. If in the venue or eatery used for the tour there is no chicken or fish then sadly we cannot substitute the originally planned dishes with the ones. Once again, this is local food & drink tasting tour not meant to substitute the full lunch menu f.i.

Loved this food tour. Over 3 hours in the end and found out all about the history, saw a lot of the city and tasted some fantastic food we wouldn't usually have found. Paul was an excellent and attentive guide and I particularly enjoyed the Moose soup - in fact all of it! Recommend, good value for money.

Amazing insights in the local estonian cuisine. In total, we've visited 6 different places during this 3 - 3,5 h tour.
All of them were so diverse f.i. a plac which sells the best truffels in town. (where we had truffels with birch and moose with chocolate) or a fency, trending wine brewery where we had wine from rhubarb.
Besides, Paul was such a competent and great tour guide with a lot of experience
he'd collected abroad as well as in Estonia. So not a big surprise, that we've learned many things about the history, customs, origins of the Estonia.
I highly reccomend to book this tour with Paul. It's such a nice way to approach the country's versatile traditions.

I enjoyed an excellent tour with Paul, (whose English is exceptional) around various eateries. Many of these I would never have found on my own and the food in each of them was excellent!
All the stops were wonderful and with Paul’s first-hand knowledge of the history of the city and the country was fascinating.
Highly recommended way to see the city, experience the food, culture and history!

We absolutely loved this tour and would highly recommend it. It's a great way to learn about Estonia, a little bit of history and the food. Paul is a knowledgeable and calm and measured guide not one of those super extroverted loud guides which we appreciated. The tour was paced well and the food and beverage offerings were diverse. I would recommend you come hungry to this tour - decent amount of food to be enjoyed. Good value for money!

Due to last minute cancellation we ended up the only two guys who turned up for the tour. We had a private tour! Paul is very knowledgable guide and will tell you about history in a concise way that will not bore you, while also explaining how this connect to the food you're experiencing.
The tour is well paced and allows you to enjoy varied sides of Estonian cuisine.
Skip breakfast at your hotel and come hungry!
Paul was also very helpful with pro tips for things such as best places for drinks and clubbing or shopping or sight-sighing beyond the tour.

Magnificent! I HIGHLY recommend this tour. Tallinn is an elusive destination. Somewhat unfamiliar to most Americans. Our guide was incredibly intelligent & interesting. I can't imagine a better use of the short time we had in the city. Paul, our host, was full of rich history and arranged an exceptionally well-organized tour through 8 (or 9?) locations. We were sat and served within minutes in each shop. You'll be sampling a lot of food (and I'm an eater!) so pace yourself. I felt immersed in Tallinn's history and culture. I really enjoyed all of it, especially the cloudberry drink, the mushroom pies & elk soup, the little raspberry pancakes, and (omg) hands down the BEST chocolate I've ever had in my entire life. On our own we would never have covered as much ground in such an entertaining way. Do this!

The tour was a great combination of exploring the Old Town architecture and history by foot, while sampling different foods at several stops. The chocolates were superb and the microbrew stop at the end was much appreciated. (Some of the traditional fares in between were less appreciated by our group…)
Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and went out of his way to make our tour fantastic. Highly recommended!

Hello! Are there vegetarian options on the tour? If not, how much of the tour will include meat? Thanks!

Sorry, you have to ask the tour operator whether they do have a vegetarian option. The dishes change depending on the season. We had one dish with meat (lamb filled pasta) and one with fish (dark bread with sprouts). Everything else was vegetarian.
Sunday, June 2nd ship Zuiderdam arrives at noon. Tour starts at 11:30AM. Out of luck, I guess
