First off, our guide was very informative and she worked hard to provide a great experience for us despite other mishaps. We would give her 5 stars. However everything considered, the overall rating is going to be lower. We got to the meeting point very early and as it approached our tour time we started getting worried because we didn't see anyone for this company. There were two other companies in the plaza and when I asked them, neither had heard of this company. A little concerning.... I tried calling the number provided on the confirmation but there was no answer. I started a chat with booking company to let them know we were having trouble making contact with the tour guide/company and while on hold, our tour guide found us. Great, now the tour can begin! We were told we were the only ones booked for the day, so instead of the company providing a car we would be taking a taxi. We then waited almost 30 minutes for the driver to show up. Ok great, NOW the tour can begin! We arrived at Devin Castle and as we're pulling in the guide says it's closed on Mondays. As in that very day. We were able to walk around the perimeter of the castle but not up to the top. It was still a nice site to see and we learned a lot about the history and the area, but it's rather disappointing that they allowed a booking for a day when they knew the location was not fully accessible. As for the wine tasting, it was two (generous) glasses of the same wine. Not exactly the wine tasting experience we were expecting but the currant wine was something new we never had before. When it was time for us to be picked up, the taxi driver went to the wrong location and we waited around for him to find the right place while our tour guide argued on the phone about who was where and who wasn't. Due to the way the day had gone, our guide took us to Bratislava Castle for a quick tour. We really appreciated the gesture and the extra stop. Technically her part was done but she went above and beyond to enhance our day in the city. Like I said at the beginning of this review, our guide was wonderful and we didn't fault her for the messiness of the day. She was a wealth of information and shared her own personal experiences with us. We really appreciated her time.

On our second visit to Slovakia we decided to visit Austria. the tour was great. Our guide Luis was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about Vienna. I recommend!

Don’t walk, RUN if your guide is Olga! This girl knows NOTHING about Vienna and it’s history! We went into St. Stevens church first, spent there 5 min in SILENCE. She brushed us off when I started asking questions about the church. Then we started walking, IN SILENCE again, I asked more questions about one of the palaces, got an answer “it is beautiful” , so after 16 min into our tour I asked her to stop and go home. I told her that she is a total scam and she didn’t even deny it. As far as the refund, we’ve only got a partial refund from Viator.

What a pleasure it was to be guided through Bratislava by Kiana! She was very passionate about the city and the country. She adapted her tour to our wishes and gave a lot of info very interesting. Lovely bubbly personality. You made us fall in love with Bratislava.

During the Easter holidays we visited the old town and it was amazing. Our tour guide was very nice and we learned a lot of useful information about the city. We spent great time and the Easter atmosphere in Bratislava was charming. We can recommend .

****HORRIBLE, FRADULENT TOUR*** GUIDE WITHOUT ANY KNOWLEDGE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY*** We returned today from our trip to Austria. I am requesting a refund for the WORST tour I have ever been on in such a historial place. The guide is 21yo student in university and lacks a key understanding of her audience and history. She started the walk over the bridge (Stary Most) and I expressed my concern with the cold weather and making a 6yo spend so much time walking across a bridge to the new Bratislava when we wanted to see the downtown. Guide told us it would take 30min and there was historial points to see. This was NOT correct....nothing to see other than trees and Bratislava which we saw from the water already. The entire trip from meeting point, across Stary Most, along the river edge and back over the Novy Nost bridge took 1.5 hrs where we were freezing and my daughter could not walk anymore. We saw lots of trees and that was it. I was so angry at this guide. She then speed through the next 30mins in down town. She kept calling the people of Slovakia alcoholics (she is orginally from Iran) and that there was a big drinking problem. She knew nothing of the cultural traditions, history, etc of this city or country. She does not know the key dates of the city sights nor history. She used her phone to look up questions we asked her. We heard other guides downtown explaining about the prior walls, moot, watch towers, gates, etc which our guide had no knowledge of. I asksed her how to get to the castle and she had NO idea...didn't know the bus to take or the name of the streets. She just pointed in a direction. Also she did not take us to the Blue Church or other places included on other tours. I asked her and she said they weren't open! This tour is FRAUD!!! We didn't learn anything important, see all the main historical sights and spent our time on a very expensive walk along the Danube. My husband is from Serbia and knows history--he was shocked that a 21yo was allowed to guide this.

She did a fantastic job in the 2 hours that helped us plan the rest of our stay. She took her time to explain details of everything we covered and was patiently answering everything we were curious about.

We used the services of this company again and we had a great time. Our Christmas tour was great, tour guide was very helpful and it was fun. We learned interesting things about the city and also visited Christmas markets. We can recommend.
