Sightseeing in Budapest can mean lots of walking and standing, especially when ticket lines are involved. Enjoy some of the city’s top sights with less effort on this Danube River evening cruise. With a welcome drink in hand, take a seat and let landmarks such as the Chain Bridge and Parliament glide past. A choice of departures and optional food-and-wine upgrade offer extra flexibility.
What to Expect
When booking, choose between two or three departures, with timings dependent on the season, and pick a cruise length.

Head to the river dock near Pest’s Szent Istvan Park to board the comfortable boat and enjoy a seasonal welcome drink or orange juice. Then, settle on the interior deck, which is heated in winter and air-conditioned in summer, or the open deck, where blankets are available. The boat also offers complimentary Wi-Fi and a bar where you can purchase drink at your own expense.

Then, admire Budapest’s UNESCO-listed Danube embankments while you cruise. Glide by the Hungarian Parliament, Buda district, and Chain Bridge, and on later evening departures, view the night-time illuminations. If you’ve upgraded, savor a Hungarian charcuterie-and-cheese platter with a glass of red wine.

Your experience finishes back at the starting dock.

Lots of WOW moments

Very scenic to cruise the river at night with all the historic sites lit up. Wish there was some audio to go along with the cruise so that we knew what we were looking at. Otherwise, it was perfect. Highly recommend.

You really can't beat the price for the hour long cruise that takes you past all the beautiful sites of Budapest along the Danube. We took the 19:30 cruise getting the last bit of sunset and the turning on of the lights through to complete...More
