This was the worst tour I've ever done. Besides the fact that you get no answer at all from the organizer of wowatours (graham), you also don't get what you paid for.
In the bus a tape is played, you get 10 min time to explore the fishing village on your own, 10 min at the sami tribe (are 2 people dressed for a photo moment no more, no explanation nothing). On the center itself had a tight hour (58 min) to walk around. Not even being able to see the movie. And on the way back the driver of the bus did not know how the blower of the bus worked so with full fogged windows, the narrow mountain route driven (life threatening).

Have booked this tour via here (tripadviser) but the tour is available at the tourist office of Honingsvag 30 euros pp cheaper appeared afterwards, so we feel heavily ripped off by tripadviser and wowatours.

It's that I can give 1 star because actually it deserves 0 stars.

When sent photos are taken in the tourist office converted you are cheaper places.

Cape Horn is considered the northernmost point of Europe, specifically at 71Âş North latitude. The place itself is not particularly pretty. Norway has much more beautiful places but the important thing about this place is that you can no longer go further north on land. From here you go directly to the north pole. The only solid land between this point and the North Pole is the Svalbard archipelago, which are almost uninhabited islands where there is a greater population of white bears than humans and where you cannot go outside without a rifle in case of the unexpected appearance of a white bear As for the North Cape: there is an interpretation center and a globe where there are hordes of people to take photos at this emblematic point. During the transport to North Cape you see quite a few reindeer.

Terrible tour today! The driver was lovely and waiting, but when we arrived via a Hurtigruten ship, it was foggy. The tour operator didn’t bother to tell us that the whole drive and the cape were socked in with fog and that we couldn’t see a thing when we got to the cape. They just happily took our $250. The stop to see a Sami family consisted of a 5-minute stop to say hello to a Sami man feeding a reindeer and see a couple of Sami tents from the outside. Then on to the cape. The film at the visitor’s center was bland and fairly useless and the fog prevented us from seeing much of anything at the point. If the operator cared, s/he could have called the visitor’s center to check on visibility and let us know before leaving that we would not see anything. Instead, they happily kept our $250 for basically nothing. On the trip a recorded commentary and travel guide was played on the driver’s phone. Really awful.

The tour was much cheaper than the ones being offered on the cruise ship I arrived in HonningsvĂĄg on. The driver was informative and gave us lots of information on the way up. The stop at the Sami village was interesting too.

The tour is basically transportation to and from the cape. The cape is beautiful. There were no stops for photo opportunities. The only stop was at the “Sami family”. This stop was just one guy in a costume with a sole reindeer on a rope. He offered no information about the Sami lifestyle or the culture. He answered a couple of questions without much detail or information shared. We were really disappointed with the overall tour. Guide was a local and fine. Provided some taped information over the bus PA. Just thought there would be more to this excursion.

Outstanding! Family owned business. We arrived on a cruise ship and booked this tour privately. The tour met the ship at the pier and ran to time. They ran multiple trips on the day we were in port. There was a pre-recorded audio tour guide throughout the bus trip that was hilarious! Thankfully in English, though I believe other languages may also have been available. This provided consistency of information for all participants of the same tour across multiple buses and time slots. The weather cooperates beautifully. The scenery is simply stunning! The company is also affiliated with a local store in Honningsvag, and offers a discount for guests who book with them to view an awesome short film at the store on the Aurora Borealis.

Everything worked out. The weather was clear, even a bit warm. The views were extraordinary. To enter the visitors center was far too expensive, so I decided to have a coffee in HonningsvĂĄg, a quaint town a little south of Nordkapp. I then arranged a cruise with Hurligruten to Svolvaer in the Lofoten islands. Truly a beautiful experience. This part of the world is a feast for the eyes.

The ride to the North Cape was beautiful, the bus driver drove well. Unfortunately rain, so less visibility. North Cape was not special but you must have been there. Didn't see reindeer and Sami was a man who dressed up and sold souvenirs in the barn. Not worth it. A tape was played on the bus with explanations about everything. Was interesting.

The driver was excellent, informative, and engaging. The North Cape experience was great. Their 3 D movie and light show was superb. The only place you fell short was booking and follow. When I booked it was for 9 AM I got there and was not on the manifest. I paid for the tour again on the bus. At the return they found my original manifest on the 11,15 tour so they refunded my money.

Having made the booking in February I wanted confirmation of who we would be meeting in Honningsvag. I made numerous phone calls to the UK number provided with no reponse whatsoever. On trying to download tickets not successful. Two days before arriving in Honningsvag the tour operator cancelled the tour with no explanation. On a positive note full refund was made promptly. I would be very loathe to make another tour booking as the whole experience was stressful.
