Great despite the wind!
Jun 2021
I enjoyed the history section of the tour particularly the architectural and urban renewal facts and the indigenous history. The windy weather did push us indoors a little more than expected. I think we may have walked a little more if it had been warmer. Becky was very knowledgeable and it was a great group of people to share a drink and chat with.

“Newcastle Afoot”…..excellent!
My wife and I have been in the Newy area all our lives and yet Becky was still able to tell us about interesting local history we knew little about including important indigenous history. Fantastic for locals and visitors alike. Combine that with walking visits to really cool bars with lovely food and enthusiastic owners happy to welcome you. The old heart of Newy is looking and feeling great and Becky has tapped into that nicely. Well worth it.

Friends enjoying Newcastle!
Jan 2021
What a great afternoon spent with a pleasant knowledgable guide and great group of friends. Although I have lived in Newcastle my whole life and had many walks around the city Becky taught us that there is still so much history to learn. She was good fun and an expert at pointing out the citys history, heritage as well as modern culture. We visited a variety of venues which were all interesting in their own way and food choices were excellent. We will look into doing another tour with Becky sometime soon.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave this wonderful review back in January, Maxine! It was such a lovely (and fun!) time on the Eat & Drink Newcastle History Walk with your group after a long COVID break - thanks for helping me celebrate!

Fun, Food, and Great Intro to Newcastle
Feb 2019 • Couples
Becky is an awesome tour guide. We had a very fun evening with her walking around Newy and eating yummy food at a bunch of different bars and restaurants. She also gave us some recommendations about other good places to try and she was right, every place she suggested has been great. Becky knows so much about Newcastle! Even our friends, who grew up in Newy, learned a thing or two and it was a great intro to this wonderful town for a couple of folks from Minnesota. Thanks for a great night, Becky!

Fun and interesting with a wonderful host!
Sep 2018 • Couples
Bekky made us feel comfortable from the start of the tour. It was to be a relaxed and casual time with plenty of opportunity to get to know our fellow travellers. We had been around Newcastle a few times but had no idea about a couple of the spots Bekky took us to. She was super organised so we were seated on arrival each time and food was provided straight away. Drink options were also great. By the time Bekky left us after our 3rd venue everyone was chatting and having a great time. We all stayed on for several more hours and had a great time.
