    What to Expect
Visit: Christchurch Adventure Park, 225 Worsleys Road Cracroft, Christchurch 8022 New Zealand

With 1.8km length, the Christchurch Adventure Park chairlift is the longest in New Zealand. The simple load and unload system takes any hassle out of getting on and off. The view from the chair and the top are some of the best in Christchurch with unobstructed sights of the city, Southern Alps, and the ocean. The Sightseer Pass can be used from opening at 10am until 4pm (an hour before the chairlift closes). The 1.8km ride takes between 9-12 minutes to get from the bottom station to the top of the hill. If you are in the mood for some activity you could also walk up or down our hiking trail for free. Once you are done with the chairlift pop into our cafe/bar for some drinks and food.

Last time we visited the park was shut due to the fire so it was great to be able to get up the chair lift this time. The views from the top were spectacular and well worth the $20 charge.

The chairlift is a 10 minute ride each way. Unfortunately it was low cloud and foggy up near the top so we missed out on the amazing views, but still enjoyed our ride. The cafe was fantastic, very good food and coffee at very affordable...More

I'm in my 30s and my friend is in her 60s. She was thrilled with her ride overlooking the city and way less scared of heights than me. Would definitely do this again. It's an open air chairlift so you can smell the fresh air...More

Went up the chair lift on the sightseeing pass. Great experience, really high lifts! Views were just stunning, seeing aspects of Christchurch never seem before. Beer at the Cafe on the verandah afterwards just topped it off

Very happy with our experience at CAP. Firstly, there was no problem using an old voucher, booked before the fires closed the park for most of the year & the staff we dealt with were friendly. Secondly, the platter at the cafe was great value....More

Yes this ticket is to go up the chairlift. It includes coming back down again. (unless you want to walk down) It is quite far away from the gondola, at least 20minutes by car (no direct public transport, not walking... More
