A really pleasant walk for an hour plus down to Lake Rotomahana. You can make it longer or shorter depending on your desire to walk longer and further as there are additional tracks on offer. The self-guided part means you can do it at your own pace though you will want to keep

Having read other T.A. reviews on this mine seems somewhat mean, but I was honestly underwhelmed by it all. Yes it was nice & pleasant, but it didn't rock my socks. It really didn't leave any lasting impression. Perhaps I need to go again on a sunny day ?
