A spectactular journey out looking at the whales. The knowledge of the crew and the way the crew all were truly professional. We saw whales quickly and enjoyed every second of this tour. Took the time to ensure we had Captain's Lounge Upgrade (would highly recommend this) and we were provided with a great pampering, clear, uninterrupted views of the whales and great information about the whales and the great enthusiasm from Helen was well worth it. My mum is still raving about it to her friends (5 hours after the tour). The upgrade provided us with 3 other people on the bridge of the vessel. I loved the entire tour and would not hesitate to encourage others to do it too.

An excellent day on the water. We left from Augusta boat harbour and saw a number of humpback whales on their migration including one with distinctive black and white markings. Unfortunately no breaches occurred which was disappointing but that's the luck of the draw as they say. The guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic in her commentary and clearly has a passion for all things to do with whales! The boat itself was comfortable and well designed for the task. It was not the original boat booked as the boat featuring the captains lounge was unavailable. A full refund or a refund of the difference in price was offered. I totally recommend this tour

It was so professional, smooth, friendly and amazing from the get go. They genuinely love these whales, it shows when they speak about them throughout the tour. They have personal stories about how they have interacted with them and are so knowledgeable. I will tell everyone to give this tour a go because it’s a 10/10 and worth every penny. Family ran business and such lovely, genuine people. It was a pleasure meeting them all. The lovely Steph was outstanding. Always asking if we’re okay, need anything at all, photos .. anything! The captain is the man! Lovely guy who is up for a laugh. Well done guys. And thank you for an amazing trip! Will definitely be back. Thanks guys, cheers! Brooke& Angie.

The whale watching trip was spectacular, we saw a number of different humpback whale pods. Our absolute highlight was a mother and a calf diving right underneath the vessel. The trip took about two and a half hours and was definitely worth it. Overall the services and commentary of the crew were good. I recommend this tour to anyone looking to see whales in Australia.

We had an excellent day on the water in search of humpback whale sightings. It was our choice to go in late August, which we knew was near the end of the season. Regardless, we had some good sightings of a group of three humpbacks. Despite the rough seas it was all very exciting. We also enjoyed watching a group of albatross elegantly wheeling through the air behind the boat.
The boat was very comfortable and the crew were excellent. As I said, the sea was very rough on the day we went out, but the crew did their best to keep us all safe and comfortable. A bonus was getting an email afterwards with professional photos of all we saw on the day. Once I realised we were getting this I stopped trying to take pictures and just enjoyed the experience.
If we did this again we would seriously consider the Captain's Lounge Upgrade. It looked pretty nice in there.

Our Tuesday trip was cancelled due to bad weather. But the team was very prompt in rescheduling another trip on Thursday with Paul and Sherri’s yacht.
My husband and I had a great time watching the humpback whales, southern rights, and the occasional dolphin. Our pre-schoolers were seasick the whole time and decided to nap it out. :)
Overall I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone that wants to see whales up close. But take the anti-nausea pills beforehand as the waters can get choppy.

So many whales! We were blessed to see competition pods racing around, breaching, huffing, and tail flapping. The lady commentating on the activity was amazingly knowledgeable, full of fascinating information. It was however a little rough, and many got sea sick (including myself) however, those who were sick were beautifully cared for by very attentive staff. Don’t let sea sickened hold you back! Great trip for teens too!

It was such a good experience. The Staff were so knowledgeable, even if we had not seen any whales it would have been a great experience. The boat was big and very comfortable, with plenty of room to move around, or just sit.
We were so lucky and saw a whale feeding on a shoal of bait fish. Yes I thought that whales only eat plankton, but not all the time, they sometimes eat these small fish. We were also lucky enough to see a mother and baby whale. The mothers are so protective of their young.
It was a wonderful 2 hours spent and I would highly recommend it.
We were on an afternoon tour out of Augusta.

Thank you so much for your kind words, it was such a special afternoon to sight both a feeding juvenile Humpback and Humpback mother and calf which are unusual sightings for Flinders Bay but a great example of how exciting and unique working with wildlife can be! We hope to welcome you onboard again in the near future and wishing you the safest of travels ahead till then😊

Fantastic trip. Super friendly staff. Informative commentary. Boat is well equipped, plenty of places to sit. Easy to view the whales from a number of vantage points. Also have a great commitment to conservation. We were approx 2.5 hours and got to see a number of pods. Pleased we went in October as a number of calves about. Highly recommended. Would take this trip again.
Easy place to park too. Walking distance from train station and cafes for a bite afterwards.
We decided to take the Captains Lounge option. Well worth it for the experience, plus seating area.
