Overview
Rottnest Island, with its idyllic beaches and diverse marine life, sits just off the coast of Perth. This tour lets you take in all the highlights and enjoy free time on the island, with round-trip transportation by ferry from Perth or Fremantle, and a wildlife-spotting cruise by speedboat. Upgrade to include optional extras such as bike rental or a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
What to Expect

Make your own way to the departure point at either Barrack Street Jetty in Perth or Victoria Quay in Fremantle to board your ferry. If you’re leaving from Perth, set sail along the Swan River and admire the views as you cruise past Millionaire’s Row. After stopping at Fremantle to pick up additional passengers, continue out across the Indian Ocean to Rottnest Island.

On arrival, transfer to a speedboat for a 1.5-hour cruise around the island—the ideal introduction to Rottnest. As you explore the island’s sandy beaches and bays, look out for wildlife such as dolphins, New Zealand fur seals, and a number of different sea birds.

Back on the island, enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure. Hire a bike to cycle around the island’s historic landmarks, stop to swim and snorkel at the island’s beautiful beaches, or set out on a bush walk in search of native quokkas. You could also upgrade to include a delicious lunch at Karma Rottnest.

After a full day discovering the island, return to the port for your return ferry. Your tour ends back in Perth or Fremantle.
