St. Kilda Seaside Walking Tour
Explore Melbourne’s laid-back seaside neighborhood of St. Kilda on this guided walking tour. Meander along the historic boardwalk to see colorful Luna Park, visit the Victorian St. Kilda Sea Baths, and check out the neighborhood’s art deco architecture. As you stroll, listen to your guide’s informative and entertaining commentary about the past and present of this fun part of town.
What to Expect

Meet your guide at Luna Park, Melbourne’s iconic amusement park, to begin your 2.5-hour walking tour of the festive and quirky St. Kilda neighborhood. As you stroll, learn about the suburb’s interesting history, including its past mafia connections, the royal visit in 1901, and various seaside scandals.

Explore the lovely beach and boardwalk, where many Melburnians go to relax—keep an eye out for the wild penguin colony as they play in the waters nearby—and check out the historic trams. Also visit the St. Kilda Sea Baths and vintage Luna Park, with its wooden roller coaster.

Get insider tips from your guide about the bars, cafés, and old Jewish bakeries of the area before concluding your tour near bustling Acland Street.

Good history

I've now done both tours and I preferred the CBD tour more to this one. It was good to see and get the info, good fun activity, but not enough about the street art or businesses to eat and check out.
