Begin the day with convenient pickup from your Cairns hotel. Climb into your 4WD vehicle with a small group of 13 or fewer.
Take off to the north towards Barron Gorge National Park, stopping at Surprise Falls on the way to Lamb Range. This 4WD tour gives you access to rugged and less-visited parts of both parks.
Continue on to Copperlode Dam, surrounded by UNESCO World Heritage-listed rain forest and mountains, and Lake Morris. With an exclusive access permit, depart the public-use roads and continue through the rain forest, stopping at a boardwalk for an interpretive overview of the rain forest.
Next, enter the savannah and stop at Kuranda Village on the way to Upper Barron Gore National Park, including a stop at the famous Barron Valls.
Finally, stop at the Henry Ross Lookout overlooking the northern beach suburbs of Cairns and back out towards the Coral Sea.
Your tour ends with a return to your Cairns accommodation.
